I only take my vehicles to Action Auto. Great prices for rims and tires! Great customer service. Very helpful.

Worst

To expensive they did not use my high diagnostic fee against my repairs

Smog check Service 4/19/2016

Went Action Auto to do my smog check. The facilities was neat and clean. And the service was quick. With the Yelp Coupon of $25 for $50 I only had to pay a balance of 20cents for my smog check and certificate. Overall a great experience more

Employees are very friendly and helpful. Nice seating area to wait in, and a variety of drinks and snacks. Best experience I've ever had at an auto shop. Will never go anywhere else. more

great service and great information 4/5/2016

The manager was so nice. the service was very fast. I was offered coffee and water. I couldn't get over and fast and great the service was. I was also very happy they checked the car out and told me of many things that should be replaced. We knew that those items were still the original ones but now for sure it was a great reminder we need to have those items replaced before we run into trouble. Great place. I will recommend it to our entire family. more

Action Auto two thumbs up 3/31/2016

On my visit to Action Auto, I was greeted by Brett. He has been assisting me over the phone. He listened to my concerns & asked what I wanted to get done on this visit. I told him what I wanted & with no pressure he said, "ok, let us take look at the vehicle." After inspection, Brett informed me of the list of things that needed to be done. He gave me the price for the parts that needed replacing. I gave him the ok on certain services I wanted done & they were finished with my car in about 1 1/2 hours give or take. It's now been 6 days since my car was serviced there & I have no complaints thus far. All in all, I will be a repeat customer. Thanks Brett & Action Auto! more

Smog check 3/23/2016

Front desk rep kept hinting I needed service done to my truck. Other then the passive up selling, the place was pleasant and professional. I would take my truck back for services, but I would ask for the more helpful mature rep. more

Excellent. Honest People. 3/19/2016

My Subaru suddenly had a "check engine" light come on. I took it to some auto shop called California Auto. They had it for 4 hours and couldn't figure it out. They told me they don't know what's wrong and gave up. I was shocked. My wife suggested going to the shop next door called Action Auto. I'm so glad I did. I liked the feeling I got in there. They seemed more professional I told them about the problem. I felt confident immediately. Maybe because they're called Master Technicians instead of mechanics. They had my car for a day and really putting it through the paces. They even offered a free rental car for my troubles. The manager , Brett , was extremely helpful on keeping me up to date. As expected they figured it out. They could've charge me a lot, but since the fix was minimal , they only charged me for that. Just good honest work. I plan on coming back for future auto maintenance. more

Excellent customer service 3/14/2016

This is a welcome change from the routine "service centers" that want to get the most out of your visit, not give you the best service. I walked in to get a smog check done, left with a brief overview of the vehicle checks, great customer service and a smile on my face. more

Surprised! 3/10/2016

I lived by this place my entire childhood life. Never had a car to take in. So when I got a car I had moved to a different city and I've been taking my car into the same place for five years. Never had a reason to complain about it. The man in charge always seemed kinda grumpy but always got the job done. So when I moved back to cypress I needed a smog check looked online and decided to give this place a try. I'm never going back to other mechanic. This place was so clean and let me tell you the workers there were in such a good mood that it made me in a good mood. I'm assuming it was the owner that helped me and he was so nice and so personable that it made me feel like I've been coming here my entire life. And every customer who came in after me he treated the same way and I could tell some of them were life long customers! Like I said I went in for a smog check and left in under an hour which says a lot because they had numerous cars lined up. And when they came back they had told me they had checked all my fluids and my brakes. Letting me know that in the near furture id be needing them done. I'd recommend just after this one visit! more

EXCELLENT 3/8/2016

A branch caught under my van after our storms of Monday causing a huge noise as I drove. AAA towed to Action Auto (my mechanics) and a visual inspection showed the problem as well as what did not surprise me, my rear brakes were not in good shape. So, a branch led to my having my brakes replaced also. I'm grateful. Very good experience. more
