I wish I could rate them a zero. Worst online experience ever. Pretty much the same as everyone else. I got a confirmation email but 3 weeks later no indication that anything is going to be shipped. Emailed them again and they said I would get item in 3-10 business days. After that passed I emailed again and they said it was on backorder. I emailed again and told them to cancel and refund to my credit card. Will it happen? I don't know. \r I am going to dispute the transaction with the credit card company and also submit a consumer complaint to the state attorney general's office. more

Worst online shopping experience ever. Placed a rather large order with Ace online. Never heard anything back from them for several weeks. When I sent an email inquiry I was told that a few of the items I ordered were on back-order and would not be shipped for another 10 days. Since I needed the product as soon as possible (workers were literally waiting in my house to start projects that were dependent on the materials in the order), I asked that they ship what they had in stock, while waiting for the back-order shipment. A few days later, I was sent a one line email saying they weren't willing to assist. After waiting another 10 days, I emailed them again to check on the status of the order, only to get another one line email several days later, stating that it would be another 10-14 days. I sent an email of extreme dissatisfaction to them, for which they seemed to care less. Ultimately, I just requested a refund. Thanks Ace for wasting nearly 2 months of my time! Hope you guys go out of business. more

Negative stars should be enabled on all customer review sites just for this company. Bad experience doesn't come close. bait and switch is the business they are in, and I hope they all die of cancer for agreeing to terms and then attempting to change those terms. Their website is also now being blocked by google search and warning that it will put a virus on your computer. If you trust these people with an order, you deserve to deal with the inevitable frustration. This scum should be in jail. more

This company knowingly misrepresents itself to the customer to scam them. They are nasty rude people, Michelle especially so. They lie to you to get you to place an order and then they don't have it. They still charge your credit card for the items and good luck trying to get your money back. They deserve ZERO stars. Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY FROM THESE DISHONEST UNPROFESSIONAL SCAM ARTISTS. Any 4 or 5 star rating is FAKE!!!! Look online...they have a long track record of ripping off people. more

I would give them zero stars if I could. I contacted them with a concern regarding my order when I placed it, asking them not to ship if it couldn't be resolved. I never heard back from them, even though it took almost a week for them to actually dispatch the order. When it arrived, the product was not as represented on their website. They responded once, unhelpfully, to an email requesting a return authorization. They have ignored follow-up emails. The bad service and incompetence alone would be enough to warrant a single-star rating; ignoring emails from customers is shockingly bad business. I'm surprised they stay afloat. Take your money elsewhere. You might have to pay a few bucks more than the price they list, but when they can't deliver the proper product or even bother to respond to customer concerns, it's not worth it to shop with these hacks. more

This place is the BIGGEST SCAM! Check out their F RATING ON THE BBB, or their HORRIBLE YELP RATING! I ordered six items, was charged $25 to ship $12 worth of merchandise. Waited two weeks and never received anything. Contacted the ""store"" and was told they had canceled my order because the item was out of stock. They wanted to sell me the same thing, but this time for 6 times the original price. The ""customer service"" man was rude and completely inept. THE WORST STORE EVER!! more

I ordered four items - all of which were listed as being in stock - from this company on 10/24/11. One day later,I received an email stating that two of the items were not in stock and asking if I wanted to complete the rest of the order. This was after they charged my CC for the full amount of the order. I continued with the remaining two items. The first item was shipped about 3 days later and arrived without incident. The remaining items had not shipped after 8 days, so I called for a status. I was told the item was a special order and they had just received it themselves and that I should be receiving it by the end of the week. Well, one week later, I finally have the item. They must have shipped by osmosis, as the entire delivery process took 9 days to travel 600 miles. I could have driven there and back faster. During this whole process communication was nonexistent. I had to specifically ask - twice - for a refund of the cost of the items which were not in stock when I placed the order and that took more than a week to be refunded. I agree completely with the first reviewer in that they need to get out of the Internet sales business. They are one of the worst retailers I've ever used and I would never use them again, even if it costs me more money. more

I placed a order with this joke of a store. They never sent a invoice when I placed my order, the website sends you a automated username and password (over clear text in email) so anyone could in theory intercept the password and view whatever information they hold for you. I waited a few days and no word at all. Called and a rude person answered and gave me a shipping date up to 5 days away. My concern is why did I get charged the full amount on my credit card BEFORE the order has shipped? Visa and Master Card's own operating regulations forbids merchants from charing the full amount till the item has shipped. For those who feel they have done wrong it would we wise to let Visa or Master Card know: * consumer_inquiries@mastercard(dot)com * askvisausa@visa(dot)com If you check the BBB for the merchant they have a minimum of 12 complaints dealing with billing issues In checking the review this obviously seems this is a long term ongoing issue for this merchant. They have trying to do something that have little to no infrastructure, technology or knowledge about. Do you own investigation and see all the reviews for the site. Don't be fooled by a few good reviews from employees! more

Do not believe these other reviews, they are written by ppl from the store. This website is a scam. First of all it's got nothing to do with Ace. The website is run by a local scam store who happen to have an Ace franchise. They advertise products with low price to lure you in. Once you place the order and pay for it, they'll send you an email after a few days telling you that the stuff you ordered happen to be 'special order items' and require you to pay additional processing fee. Just search online and you will see how many people complain about the samething. This should really be considered as fraud. Again, do not be fooled by their low price. After their 'special order fee' and ridiculously high shipping and handling charge, you better off just order from Amazon. more
