Anthony is the owner. He is used by our appliance and HVAC insurance company to fix the air conditioner. He told me that he would be to our house between 11 and 12 and didn't show up until 3. We had a dinner appointment and said we needed him to be done by 7 pm. He said he was done at 7 pm but when I checked on his work, there were voids in the taping around the piping through the duct work and the tape wasn't even attached at one spot. Air just blew out of these holes. He left the bleeder cap off of the refrigerant lines at the compressor which I found by accident. He didn't want to take the time to properly bolt the cover back on the blower unit and just taped it in place. He asked for all his non-coverage work to be paid in cash with a deposit so you can't get it back from him. The air conditioner still does not work and the insurance company has to have another service provider out because I did not want this guy back ever! It is not worth wasting your time with this man or company - ask for someone else. more

This Company is Ran By a real Shady guy doesn’t know what he is doing He was sent down by 2-10 home warranty to replace my Heating and Air-conditioning. Comes down like he knows what he is talking about. He showed up the first time and lets the warranty company know that the unit needs replacing. Warranty company order me a 95% efficient ac. Mr. Anthony from anl tells me they order me 82% and he will upgrade me for a 95%. For Extra money Demands Cash. Installed me system Wong also and disappears. This Guys has a Criminal Record also. Pick up for Buying drugs Here is the arrest reports •A Toms River man and Asbury Park resident on drug charges. John A. Hernandez-Girling, 21, of Asbury Park was arrested Sept. 14 in Brick and charged with possesion of cocaine, as well as possession with intent to sell and distribution. Anthony R. Quintana of Kettle Creek Road in Toms River was charged with possession of cocaine. Both were released on a summons Never use this guy. This company is Trouble he will also now have a Criminal Report also for running off with my money. 2-10 Home Warranty company dropping him also. more

ANL was sent to us from our home warranty company (AHS-American Home Shield) to check our heating system as per our home inspection. Anthony found nothing wrong with our system, and he told us he would write up a detailed report stating the system's condition. We waited and waited--no report. We called AHS to help--no report. We called ANL--no report. This went on for over a month, and it almost delayed the closing of our home. Finally, after at least 7 or 8 phone calls to both ANL and AHS (American Home Shield), and being told each time, ""I just mailed it"", we finally received a one sentence letter stating: ""Peerless furnace was found to be in good working condition""--the problem was that our furnace was a Lennox. We contacted a different company on our own (Whalen and Ives); they checked the furnace and gave us our needed documentation before they left. NEVER use ANL--they're a rip off, and personally I don't think this guy has a license! I only gave him 1 star because 0 stars was not an option! more

Thank you ANL. I hired ANL through my home warranty company and they said what they where going to do and now we have heat. They did an excellent job and cleaned everything up neatly. Great service, honest and personable people. Thanks again. more

Contracted ANL through American Home Shield on Fri July 22 for my Central Air. Came on Saturday added free on and cleaned contacts.. AC still not working, called ANL and AHS again. Finally got through to Anthony at ANL on Sunday an was told he could not come as all his techs were booked to 1:00 AM and they were off on Mondays. Set up an appot for Tues after 4PM. Waited until 11:00 PM they never showed, finally reached them Weds. late morning. Anthony proceeds to tell me he was at my house on Monday because he was in the neighborhood and did a evap acid flush on my outside system, BULL!! Ac still not working! Call again and he sends a tech out Friday 1 1/2 hour after schedueled time..He does something else and says it should be fine..Still not working, call ANL again and am told he's too busy maybe he can come on Monday(one week already with no air). Call AHS agin to complain, they call him to discuss and assure me a senior tech will be out Sat AM,,they never show.Call AHS again, they call ANL and tell me someone will there in the afternoon,Never show!! Call a 3rd time, he proceeds to tell AHS that it was not a definate appt for the afternoon and he will personally be there homself (said he's never been to my house before--SO HOW DID HE DO THE ACID FLUSH?? He'll be there between 7-9PM..NEVER SHOWS!! Call AHS on SUnday and insist they send another contractor or I will get my own and send them the bill. Finally got it re-assigned and am waiting for the call..They are unreliable and liars!! more

Through AHS I was put in contact with this company for a repair on my central air. I went through 3 days of n othing but lies about what time to expect them and the excuses they gave for not showing up. I finally got disgusted and called AHS to assign me to another company. They gave me the name of a company in Rockaway named air a tech who couldn't have been more professional and prompt. I would recommend them and will tell AHS that's the company I want them to call . They came that afternoon after telling me they would be there between 1 and 5. They called me at 3 and told me they were on their way. That night my house was nice and cool again. Thanks A-N-L for screwing up and giving me the idea to call for another company. more

I had to give this company 1 star because 0 stars was not available. This company was subcontracted out to me from my American Home Shield Warranty. They called and set up the appointment promptly. I should have been suspicious when they scheduled the appointment for the next day. They were supposed to come out between 11-2pm. I waited all day, they never showed. I called this company multiple times and never got a return phone call. Surprisingly, when a receptionist from AHS contacted them they picked up right away. They kept telling the AHS representative, I'll be there in an hour, etc. Should have known. Its now 9:55pm and they never showed up. I canceled their service and am waiting again for another company to come out. May have dodged a bullet looks like these incompetents have messed up a lot more then scheduling appointments. Don't waste your time or money on this unprofessional company. more

We had coldest winter night and called this guy on emergency basis. He gave time at 3: and showed up at 9:00. Collected $95 fee and went back saying need to replace pump and primary controller. Then after calling so many times showed up other day at night while the time was at 12. and replaced primary controller only and charged for pump and promary controller. Called and said the heat is working for half an hour. Which was not true. because when we checked it was not. We called the guy again. never showed up till date. Only threated on the phone and said not to call him otherwise he will call COP. So we had to call other contractor pay $150 who said there was no need to change pump or controller but drain the extra water and attach the wire which was not connected to the controller and it started working. more

ANL was hired to fix our AC. The first day they were supposed to come between 3-6 and they never showed, the second time they came a half hour after the scheduled time, the third time they came right on the nose of the last minute of the scheduled time. They supposedly fixed it but three days later when we turned on the AC, it was not working again. We scheduled another day, taking another day off of work, and he never showed again, this has now happened two more times and we have ended the relationship calling another HVAC company. The cell phone of the person doing the work is always full so you cannot leave a message and they never call to advise they will be late or show up at all. Good luck if you are stuck using them. AHS (American Home Shield) should be ashamed having them on their list of contractors and they are no longer part of ServiceMagic so I can just imagine that others might have had the same problems. I had to give one star since this makes you pick a rating but they should have none. Pros: No pros Cons: no response, never on time, couldn't fix more
