Not A Bad Experience At All 2/25/2008

I was very skeptical about allowing this company to handle the repair of my 37 inch LCD TV after reading the negative reviews here, so much so that I had considered calling the warranty company to advise them of the negative reviews the company had received in attempt to get them to allow me to take my TV elsewhere that was hassle-free and in Durham. I decided not to make that call & go ahead & schedule a service time or pick-up with them. Pros: Quick Return Time, Friendly, Helpful, & Professional Staff Cons: Wait time for home service/pick-up too long. Had to take it to there shop for faster service. more

Apprehensive but pleasantly surprised (big screen Toshiba repairs) 1/2/2008

I had my Toshiba projection TV repaired here. I really didn't have a choice as the other repair center in Durham was swamped and the next service center is over an hour away. I was hesitant due to the negative reviews here, and the dozen or so complaints registered on the BB Bureau website (which in fairness were all marked resolved or unable to contact reportee). HOW DO THEY STAY IN BUSINESS? 9/29/2007

We could have written any of the above negative reviews. It all started when they were supposed to pick our tv up on a Friday, we had made arrangements for someone to be there, they never came and didn't call. (This was a week after we had originally called.) When we called them, no apologies were given, just "We're busy, we'll pick it up on Tuesday." They picked it up and my husband called three days later and was told they were waiting for a common part. We waited for a week, he called again. The nasty woman who answers the phone, was extremely rude. She said it wasn't ready and they still had the part on back order. When he asked why they hadn't called to tell us it would take awhile, she said, "I don't have to do that!" Then my husband said, "That's poor customer service." She raised her voice and said, "I don't have to take this s--t! We're not going to fix your tv, we'll bring it back!" We then called RCA, who gave us their name in the first place since the tv is still under warranty, and told them what she said. They offered to ship them the part but, never heard from them. I got a call from "Nasty Woman" the next day and she told me to pick up my tv, they were't going to fix it because of my husband's attitude. When I questioned who had the attitude, because she was the one who swore, she said that was a lie, she would never swear! HA! When I asked, "Why would my husband make this up?" She said, "Some people will lie to get what they want!" Then she hung up on me. I reported her to RCA and strongly suggested that they never deal with this company again. They promised me that they are looking into this. My tv was returned, not fixed. Another company picked it up 15 minutes later, and returned it fixed 3 days later. We had been without a tv for almost a month . FYI- according to their delivery man, she is an owner! An Anger Management Group would do her wonders! I would never be a patron of this business again. They were deceptive, rude, and unprofessional. They want your money, but they won't treat you well, value you as a customer, or provide the service how they originally tell you they will.... REALLY IMPRESSED WITH THE SERVICE RECEIVED! 9/26/2007

This company picked up my RCA projection television for me. It was under warranty and the only TV I had. They called and told me parts were ordered the same day, and within three days my television was repaired. They also returned it on the same day it was repaired at my convenience. You know, this is so important with our busy schedule these days. Everyone was helpful and friendly and this is very important to me! I will certainly use them again! Pros: friendly, nice service Cons: none more

These people kick butt to make your experience with them a fantastic one! Being new to Raleigh, my experience with service centers in New York were unfriendly. At ALL Electronics they were nice to me on the phone, showed up when promised and the repairs were done right the first time! Whatever promises that were made were always kept! It's nice to know that there is such a reliable, honest service center in the Raleigh area!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pros: GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE Cons: NONE more

The lady who works there is just HATEFUL. 1/3/2007

My husband dropped off our copier/scanner/printer/fax last week b/c the fax machine component was not working. He called yesterday morning just to touch base to see if they had had a chance to determine if it was fixable & if so, how long would it take. The lady told him she'd call us back in the afternoon. Well, no phone call ever came in. I decided to follow up this morning & after introducing myself & telling her I was calling to find out how long it would take to repair our fax machine, she proceeded to spout off what was wrong with it & how much it was going to cost to fix it. "That's fine, but how long will it take to fix it?" was my reply & that's when she got nasty. The lady was breathtakenly rude to me, calling ME unprofessional & proceeded to hang up on me. I immediately called my husband (yes, to vent & to ask him to call her). He called ALL Electronics a few minutes later & politely asked the lady "what just happened between you & my wife?". She told him I was ugly to her. Not wanting to get into an argument with her, my husband replied, "Now, wait a minute..." & before he could say anything else, she said, "Just come pick up your f--king fax machine!" & she hung up on him. He called me back completely astonished. (To be honest, I think he thought I was exaggerating &/or being dramatic.....well, not after she got ahold of him!) Pros: Nothing Cons: Nasty lady who works there (says she's the owner --HA!), Pathetic customer service, no follow up. That about covers it! more

THE ONLY SERVICE CENTER YOU SHOULD USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 10/30/2006

This is an absolutely great service center! They have been around forever and I have used them for that long! My repairs have always been done in a timely manner and I've never had to have it worked on more than once! The employees there treat you as if they've known you all of their lives and you are friends! This is the only shop that you should ever use! Pros: EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cons: NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! more

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE 10/12/2006

I am almost tempted to laugh at how outrageously terrible service my husband and I got. We brought our Philips TV in over two months ago for repair. A week after we brought it in, we heard nothing (the woman said she would call us with an estimate) so we called. The woman was very rude on the phone and said our estimate was not ready. Another week goes by, so we call again. Still not ready, and rude to us again. Another week. We call again. We are informed our TV is not broken, works fine and there would be a $65.00 diagnositc fee. Because of the lousy service thus far, we decided rather than taking the TV home, we would plug it in right there in the shop to make sure it was working. Guess what? IT WAS STILL BROKEN! Again, had to wait several weeks for an estimate, finally after WE called several times, we got the estimate. Needless to say it was over $900.00 to fix, so after all that we decided to just pick it up. Of course, we go to pick it up at lunch time, and the tv is "diassembled" OK. So the next day I called to see if it was "reassembled" and ready for pick up. The lady was rude and told me curtly "you just came yesterday LATE in the afternoon, no it is not ready" she then hung up on me. No joke 30 seconds later she called back and said it was now reassembled and ready for pick up. Mighty fast technician!!! Anyway, take it from us, NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!!! Pros: none Cons: just about everything more

Find Another Repair Shop 1/10/2006

I have now waited over 4 months for repairs on 3 electronical components. I call weekly and only receive extremely rude customer service and a patent answer that "they are waiting for parts." I have asked for documentation of the parts delay for my insurance agent and have waited over a week and called them 3 times and still have received no letters or faxes from them. I would NEVER use this repair shop again! Cons: Rude Customer Service, Unreliable, Not trustworthy more

Don't trust these people 9/20/2005

hired this company to repair a television, repair was not made. TV was returned inoperable. They subsequently held the TV for six months stating they were waiting on parts. Called the manufacturer and all parts were avaiable. Company refused to refund money or complete repiar. more
