A Pioneer Moving System

I wish there was something less than a star, this people are the worst I've ever worked with. They have stored furniture with them since May 2010 and now are nowhere to be found for us to go and pick-up the furniture. I wish I had seen these warnings about them before. Do not use them, that is if they ever answer your calls or e-mail, stay away from them !!!!! more

I was initially compelled to pay with the cashiers check the estimated amount of the move, with understanding they'd refund any overpayment... which they did NOT do when cost of the move as calculated on the day of the move reflected an overpayment of over $700 This company was meticulous about supplying bids, giving estimates, and receiving its funds, including a deposit on a credit card and requiring a cashiers check for the estimated amount of the move. Yet, despite its efficiency in running its operations — the move itself was entirely satisfactory — they claim to have only a weekend bookkeeper handling accounts payable. I first filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, but Pioneer ignored their letters as well. I then won a small claim court judgment and had a sheriff serve paper. They finally agreed through their moving co association, CSI, to pay the judgement plus subsequent costs in 3 payments... but never made them. he movers were great, but the company is either run by a bunch of idiots or they are scamming people. Do not use them. Their pricing was certainly fair, but they failed to inform me that they only take a certified check or cash. When the truck was half emptied at my new place they demanded cash or certified check and I was told they would take my remaining belongings to storage and hold them hostage until I paid them in cash. This was Friday evening at 6 o'clock! Only by chance was I able to come with the $600+ in cash. What a nightmare. Talk about stressful. The workmen were polite and gave 110% effort, but they were being ordered to take my furniture to storage if I did not come up with the cash. Scam, in order to rake more money in for storage, etc? Not sure. But at the very least this was bozo, idiotic, amateurish behavior. Don't risk it, there are plenty of other movers out there who want your business and won't threaten to take your belongings. They never even claimed they told me they only accept certified check or cash. And, they were charging by the hour, so how can you pay with a certified check when the costs have not been pre-determined?. I was so happy with my move. I was in panic because I had scheduled my move with another company, and on the morning of my move, they cancelled on me. I am a single parent with 3 children and I am on a strict budget. I called A Pioneer on the morning of my move and spoke to Alan. He helped re-assure me that they could take care of it. He called a crew in and by 11 am, they were at my home in norhteast philly. There were 3 strong men with a truck that fit my 3 bedroom house in. The men moved quickly, but cautiously. They did no damage at all. They even took care of my 42in tv. Alan gave me a quote, and he was only off by a half an hour. The price was fair too. Dear Frank, Why do you insist on posting on my site the same thing and now with today as a move date. I will take legal matters against you for slander. I have up to 120 days to close a claim. I can read the IP address to show is posting on my site. You keep posting about 15% which means nothing in the big picture, you received a by the hour quote within 15% not to exceed and do not have a binding quote. am a veteran at moving because of being relocated by my firm on a constant basis and have nothing but positive praise for A Pioneer Moving Systems. I was planning on a local move and was ready to gather information when ironically I had seen them moving someone on my block and figured I give them a call for a quote for my upcoming move. I had a professional representative by the name of Joe Locke come over and give me an accurate estimate. He was very thorough in his quote and answered all my questions with kind replies. The movers all arrived uniformed and their truck was impecably clean with all the materials to prep my furniture for damage free transport. The leader of the crew, Zoltan, was a pleasure to work with and kept me aware that the total was going to be less than the original quote which made me happy as this has never happened before in my prior experiences. The men set all my items where my wife and I wanted them and once the move was complete, it appeared as I lived at my home for years already. I will highly recommend this company to any friends/family/and or associates for a good company is hard to find. I had my whole house packed and moved recently and I am very satisfied with Apioneer. The office staff provided a detailed estimate for my move. The moving crew did a great job packing, wrapping and moving ALL of my furniture and boxes. There were no damages and the crew was very professional. I must admit - Apioneer Moving Systems did a great job moving my house recently. As soon as I contacted them - Cindy was very thourough with her " estimate ". They sent 4 guys: Rob, Bruce, Angel and Gabe - they worked like a fine tuned machine. They disassembled, wrapped, packed and loaded my furniture with ease. At the unload - the crew placed everthing exactly where I wanted them to. Although moving can be extremely stressful - Apioneer didn't let me down. We recently used Apioneer moving for a large 4 bedroom house move. I would like to share this amazing experience with anyone in need of a mover. From the beginning, they were helpful, courteous and extremely careful with all of our items. They even moved several of my collectibles that have been in my family forever. Zoly, Jarret, Bruce and Robert came to our home on time and in uniform. They packe, wrapped, loaded and unloaded everything with no damages. We were a 3 bedroom townhouse and they told us they can usually fit a 5 bedroom house in one of there trucks but for some reason needed 2 trucks and charged us approx $250 more!!! They wrecked the walls of our stairwell, broke door framing, turned boxes upside down even thought they were all clearly marked this side up. They were late, unorganized and worst of all, they broke our expensive china cabinet which is all glass. Then The manager ajenkins says he will send a glass repair person over monday so my wife stays home but no glass man! And no return call from ajenkins. We were supposed to spend 1,550 on this move, but when it was all done we spent over $2,500. We wound up with someone elses wine rrack that I'm sure someone is missing. The movers Julio, Angel, Greg and John were really very nice people, and they made mistakes, but apioneer didn't estimate it correctly and someone who works for them broke our fragile furniture while it was being stored overnight. Apioneer felt that my family should be the ones to pay for it. Do yourself a favor and Don't use this comapny for anything!!! I was very worried that on the day of my move the men would tell me it was much more than I was told, but the guys did a great move and were fast and reliable. FAST, GOOD, AND CHEAP! BJ and Fran were nice boys, and I had a very pleasent experience with this company. I'll be using them again in a few months when I move to NC. I had my doubts about this company because of the reviews I was reading. I almost read all the reviews, some was good, great and some was bad or horrible. Although I read the bad and good I agree with the good. I wasn't going to use them but I had no choice. I called them to get an estimate and at the same time see what the fuss was about. Recieveing an estimate was great, they took their time with me, they were concerned about my crying child in the back round, they tried to work around my budget and time to do the move, and they answered all my questions. I was still a little worried because one of the reviews was that they do well until they recieve the deposit. My mother was pleased with the company and she was paying for it, she wanted to go ahead and use this company because when she asked the lady how do she think they stand as a moving company she was honest and said "better". she told my mother that if she visited the site she probably wouldn't go with the company. That's what made my mother say Yes. We took that chance and was really pleased. They were a little late but, respectful, the men didn't even want a lunch break, they even delivered a sofa to my uncle last min. Let me specify the absolutely horrid service that this company offers for out of state moves. If you are reading this, I am currently typing this from the floor as my furniture has not moved from their warehouse for the past 4 weeks. These people are LIARS. and I cannot stress this enough. In the initial quote, they said that the move would take 2-10 business days. This was a lie, do not believe them if you call them. When the moving people showed up they had changed the terms, it was now up to 21 business days. Again absolutely poor service. Fine, at this point I was out of luck schedule a new mover? Not really feasible. Since that point that was the last time I have seen my furniture, we are fast approaching the 21 business days, and they have promised to LOAD it after that date. These people are con artists, liars, and shills to the worst. I have called each day for a status, and they have given me different times each time. Oh it will be loaded on ... this day... call after that date for information, no it will be loaded on this date... no... on this date... and so on and so forth. I have asked for call backs from their managers, but they have yet to actually call me back, left messages and they have yet to call me back at any point. These people are NOT to be trusted. DO NOT use them, do not contact them, do not beleive a word they say. I would imagine that the people who give this absolutely sorry excuse for a company a good review are more then likely the employees themselves, this is a horrid company that should NOT be trusted by any sort to need any help with any moving. They are untrustworthy, liars, and above all not professionals. DO NOT TRUST THEM. Do NOT believe their lies, and above all DO NOT USE THEM. I was extremely pleased with my most recent move. Apioneer helped us with a very complicated move that they completed to perfection. Cindy was exceptional and patient - Jen Ann was extremely courteous to me and my wife. The crew showed up on time, they packed , loaded and delivered under the estimate without any problems. I am a professional and I was impressed with their professionalism throughout the whole move. I would definately recommend Apioneer to anyone in need of an excellent moving company. Are the other reviewers talking about the same company? This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I contracted with them over a year ago to move my household items (1800 lbs) from Princeton to their storage facility in Philadelphia until I knew where I would be moving to. The men were supposed to arrive at 4pm. They arrive at 1am and noisily moved my furniture down one flight of stairs until 4am. This cost me $945 plus tip. How can I not tip movers? If I don't, I risk major damage to my things when I'm not looking. Seven months later, I called APioneer to begin the process of moving my things to the Netherlands. I had no idea I would be moving overseas at the time. If I had known, I would have gone with an international company.This leg of the move cost me $5150, of which only $3500 is supposed to be paid to the international shippers. The remaining $1650 was supposed for a wooden crate and an administrative fee to move my things from their warehouse to the shipper's truck. After wiring the money, in mid-February, it took them until mid-April before they could order a crate and schedule the shipper to come. They were eager to serve me until the money was deposited. Then they ignored me for months and refused to take my calls whenever I asked about status of my shipment. The shipment arrived in the UK at the end of April. It is now early June and my shipment is still in the UK because APioneer has not paid the international shipper. My shipment is on hold because payment by Apioneer is 60 days overdue. Both the international shipper and I have been calling Apioneer daily and all we get is someone's voicemail. I have now been waiting nearly 6 months for my shipment and living in an half empty apartment. What would you do if you were in my shoes? I want to thank Apioneer for doing a great job with my move. I looked all over the internet to get estimates. Most of the estimates I found were to high for very little service, some were very little conversation and details. When I was told about apioneer I called them and there it was all that time. I got a really nice sales person whom took her time with inventory and all. We set the move up and I got good men to do the move. They were on time as I knew they would and did a really good job. I call them here and now because my stuff is in their storage. The men and women are stil nice and respectful. Thank you apioneer I will use you everyime I move, if i move again. more

Apioneer is a really good moving company. The people are very friendly, patient and helpful. I called them a day before my move because my company that i originally went with postponed my move for another day. I really needed to move on the January 18 th due to my eviction. I called APioneer on the 17th and told them I needed to move the next morning and they did it with no additional fee for short notice. The men that were sent out were in uniforms, strong and very helpful. Unfortunately I lost my deposit with the other moving company but hey to have Apioneer as my movers it was worth it. I thank Apioneer for their assistance until this day. more

I got an estimate from this company, it was the lowest i'd recieved from my search. The sales representatives were all very sweet and attentive. On the day of my move, the men came within the time period alloted, and were all very polite. They wrapped my fragile antiques and NOTHING got broken. And that's over 200 glass pieces! They were very efficient in time and did everything in a very timely manner. All my movers, Angel, Kevin, and Jeff seemed very trustworthy and reliable. All in all, everything was an extreme success. I have moved more times then I can count on two hands. When we called APioneer it was late at night but we still got a call back letting us know that the office was closed but that they would call us around 8:30 in the morning. And they did, we got a call at 8:15am. The sales gal was super patient, as I had not had my mornign jo yet. She was upfront about the price and about what things I would have to pay extra for if I did not take care of it myself. She made sure she sent me everything in writing inlcuding the prices on the boxes and stuff. That was a first! I checked them out and then called back to settle up and pick my date. When the guys came I was not disappointed. Me being me, did not pack things like the TV's or the mirrors. I had no clue how to do it and even though they gave me packing tips I just did not get it done. The foreman came and he walked through the house with me and he let me know what had to be packed and what each item would cost. But I was not surprised because my sales rep had already told me what things would cost if I did not do it myself. But the guys worked hard and they worked fast. I was really impressed when the little guy picked up my chest of drawers and carried it out on his back all by himself. No way I could have done that!!!
