Alina is a true artist 10/25/2006

I found Alina and A La Mode from this very site and Ive been going to Alina since. I first went to her for color, but after seeing pictures of the extensions I was hooked. Ive had my extensions 3 months now and I love them. I just recently got a nose job and wanted a new look to fit my new nose. Alina and myself ran some ideas past eachother and she made it happen. My hair is flawless from cut to color. I look like one of those girls in the hair magazines. If you are looking for someone great and artistic to do your hair go to alina, she knows the newest trends and she knows what shes doing!! more

Love my hair 10/23/2006

I went to A la mode for the first time today. Based on all the reviews on this site, I must say thank you for recommending Alina to the world. She is friendly, sweet, understanding, and creative. She did such a great job on my hair that I already made my next two appointments with her since she gets really booked up. Love my color and my cut...it's stylish, trendy, classy and sassy. I am thinking about getting hairextensions with her, since I saw a client of hers who had them on and was raving about it. I've been going to A La Mode since February and I love it! Alina is a wonderful stylist: honest, personable and very skilled. She recently did my hair and makeup for my wedding a week ago and I got nothing but rave reviews from everyone about my appearance. My hair is a little hard to manage, but she always does a great job. I HIGHLY recommend Alina and A La Mode. Pros: Alina, atmosphere Cons: NONE more

I'm a male, and this is my 3rd time getting a men's cut from Alina. She's great. She cuts and styles my hair perfectly. She has done a great job each and every time. I have been to Alina for ALL my hair needs whether it is for a haircut, hair color or bleachblonde highlights. She amazes me every time. What is remarkable about Alina is that she is very intuitive about what will suit u and she never compromises her principles if she feels u want something or were told by someone to get a look that may inadvertently make u look bad. Whenever I have a visit with her, I invariably come out smiling as she ends up giving me a look that amazes me every time. I really do feel like a supermodel. Her prices are also very reasonable. Alina can do it all from haircut to hairextensions to lightening or darkening hair. I feel her expertise is definitely in color (which is hard for most other hairstylists..and I have been to so many). I have olive skin and she managed to give me a sxy blonde color that looked so NATURAL (!!!) with my skin tone, and my natural haircolor is BLACK. There was no brassiness at all..people think it is my natural haircolor! I feel she is an artist. She is also a very warm person and while I was in the chair she made me feel so comfortable from the start. She feels like family to me now. I recommend this hair salon and especially Alina to anyone who wants a look that comes out looking like a star! Definitely a jewel of Glendale. Beats every celebrity salon out there! God Bless! Skilled hair stylist 8/14/2006
