Routine Maintenance 2/1/2012

wait time 1/28/2012

my apt was at 12:00 got their 20 min early and did not get called till 20 after 12 and then sat in the chair for another 20 min before being seen by the doctor. They did say sorry and gave me a free bottle of mouth wash. But Why make apt if your not going to be seen on time, my time is just as important. more

Great office staff 1/24/2012

The office staff at Roanoke 6 day dental are so friendly and helpful! I also had a great hygienist on my first visit. She was very sweet and genuine. On my second visit however, I felt less welcome by the actual dentist and a different hygienist was somewhat impatient with me. I felt more like a project than a person. more

Excellent Experience 1/12/2012

I can not say enough about Dr. Bishop!! he has and is working very patiently with me, and helping me work though my dental phobia. I just love the staff! I wish I could remember all the ladies names, but really...it doesnt matter, because every single one of them have been absoultly awsome!!!! when i finally get my mouth/teeth back in order, I would speak on their behalf ANYDAY! you got some wonderful special people that work there, and i am here to tell you, anyone with anykind of dental phobia has GOT to come here..its just amazing..and i never thought i would actually look forward to or be excited about going to the dentist! this is the coolest!!! more

excellent service from the moment i walked in the first time 1/10/2012

I've had a bridge, cleaning and four fillings here. All in the past six months, so I'm not excited by the reason for being there, but I was treated politely by the helpful staff. The dentist and assistants and hygienists were wonderful, especially when empathizing with a 40+ year old that quakes at the word dentist! Very gentle with work, minimal post work discomfort. I will continue to go as long as there is an office near me. Thank you! more

Charged for incompleted service 1/3/2012

I was supposed to have had a crown seated over one of my top front teeth at the end of the year, where I paid for rush services. But the permanent crown was not seated and a new appointment was never given. The year ended, no crown but my insurance company was billed (the insurance company paid) as though it was completed. The dentist also stuck me so many times with needles to numb the area when preparing the tooth, that my mouth still hurts (two weeks later) and the temporary crown is dark around gum line. Therefore, my mouth doesn't look or feel good. more

Not usually unhappy 12/28/2011

I am not usually unhappy. Actually first time ever that the service provided was poor. The tech was not able to get X-ray taken after several attempts. Which every attempt was not painless as usual. This made me uncomfortable and irritated. I am usually a very patient person, but after an hour and not even the cleaning started I grew very impatient. I am sorry to not leave positive feedback, but feel I needed to express my poor experience today. I have come to 6 day for many years and feel I wasn't treated well today. My first visit was a very good experience. Every one was nice and explained everything that needed to be done and the procedures. I am very happy with this office, as going to the dentist is not high on my list. Going forward I will not procrastinate. more

My 4 year old's first dentist appointment. 12/9/2011

This was my 4 year old daughers (Mariana) first experience at the dentist office. She did really well with the hygienist and the other tech. We found she has some cavities and needed some work. The Dentist suggested we go to a pediatric dentist. I really got the feel that he didn't want to do any work on her. I have been there in the past and have always had a great experience with myself and my older daughter. My other daughter Adriana (which is 9 now) started going to this dentist office since she was approx same age as my 4 yr old and never been recommended to go to a pediatric dentist. I didn't feel that was necessary and as I stated seemed as if he just didn't want to work on my daughter. Now I had to make another appointment for another day which is an inconvenience since I have new born twins at home. This would have been easier to grade if I could have grated the Dentist separate from the hygienist and the tech. They were awesome! more

looking for a new dentist 11/30/2011

My children came into your facility for a clening and didn't get a new tooth brush or tips on cleaning. They did however have three different people try and up sell me on things. I can't believe just how cheap and rushed 6 day can be. I have not seen anything like it in my 40 yrs of visiting the dentist. This isn't the first thing I felt like this with 6 day, its just the last straw. I cant wait till ortho is done and we move on to another dentist. more
