6day Dental & Orthodontics - Roanoke

I originally went in because the pain had worn thin and I could no longer stand it. I have had numerous bad experiences and encounters at dentists offices in the past. I had passed the Roanoke office several times and it is very close to the office I work at so I decided it was time to grow up and take care of my health! I immediatly grew anxious when I began the walk back to the chair for my first exam. The periodontist looked at my mouth and when he realized the pain and anxiety I was in stopped and scheduled me for what was needed so I would be comfortable. They care about people in general and have provided a payment plan that I can afford. Originally I had to cancel my first appointment as I had to have emergency surgery for something else and they called to check on me and make sure I was okay. I just cmpleted the first of several needed surgical procedures of which I am hurting however; this is the first step to a long road of healing and recovery. Any questions I ever have they are never too busy to talk to me or validate my inquiries or worries. I did not realize how critical and vital your dental health is to your physical and mental being. Everyone was very professional and welcoming. Made me feel at ease. The dental hygenist was very gentile and informative. The doctor was very pleasant and very compassionate (especially since it took several injections to get me completely numb). I loved the 80s music playing in the office too! I actually did not mind this visit to the dentist...when I'm normally not very excited about it. more

I called Thursday and got an emergency appointment on Monday. I had intense pain on my right upper teeth. They got me in, looked at and fixed up in a timely manner. I'm a big chicken but the doctor and assistant were very gentle. When my wisdom tooth extraction was done, they explained the post surgery instructions very carefully and made sure I fully understood what to expect. I was very satisfied. more

Dr. Choy and Haley were superb during the surgery. Everything went well and they explained all that was going on. Heather and Katy are also great. This office is best I have ever worked with. more

My 10 year old had two teeth pulled today. I think he was a little nervous even though it wasn't his first time having this done. The dental assistant was AMAZING! She was able to relax my Son and made everything look easy. She was very helpful and attentive to his needs. more

Overall not a bad experience, I am tired of the office staff always trying to change appointment times. It seems I always get a call days prior to my appointment asking if I can come in on the day of the call. It is somewhat irating when I plan my schedule around my appointment for the office staff to not want to honor the scheduled time. I appreciate that on this appointment this was not the case. Apparently for my cleaning this past week multiple supplies weren't ordered. I got to choose from bubblegum or raspberry polish. Also there were no more whitening trays in stock for my 6 month 3 tray refresh. I was told I would receive a call when they are in. more

Had my cleaning and a "get familiar" visit for my toddler. They were great with her! Let her watch my procedures while explaining and involving her so it wasn;t scary when it was her turn. Come her turn I expected the tight lipped toddler experience but she opened wide and let them count and clean her teeth. She was so comfortable and we were so relieved. Only reason I wouldn't give the visit max. stars is that I think if a toddler is on the schedule the Dentist should be certain to see them quickly. She lost all her patience and good behavior waiting for him. more

I don't like going to the dentist. Period. Except for six day dental. I actually like going, its a warm atmosphere, staff is very accomodating, professional and knowledgeable. I recommend to anyone that needs a dentist to the Flankoke location. more

I have been going to the same location for four years and have always been comfortable there. They remember me when I come in by name, I have the same person doing my cleanings for years, and she remembers what we talked about. If I need additional work done, they don't push it on me. I have recommended a friend there and he saved $500 vs the first estimate. Needless to say, he was satisfied as well. Overall happy!!! more

The hygienist did a great job. No problems. The dentist, Dr. Bond, seemed more concerned with selling me dental implants than anything else. I didn't ask to be evaluated. I waited quite a while for him to come in the room after the hygienist finished. I feel like I wasted my time waiting for him. My whole family goes there, and we've never had a problem with any dentist there except for this recent visit. more

The hygenist that cleaned my teeth was excellent! The dentis was also great. My only complaint is that the new girl who was orienting was pretty rough on my mouth. From check in to check out, everyone was very nice and helpful! more

I don't know where to begin..the kindness and professionalism of the staff...the knowledge and gentleness of the doctors. I would recommend this office to everyone without hesitation. more

Everyone was very helpful and made us feel like a priority. Dr. Bishop is great and explains everything. He discusses the issues and offers alternatives when possible. Definitely will go back for future needs. more
