Do you know that when you leave a dog/cat overnight at a veterinarian’s office to be observed after surgery that they are often not observed at all. My dog was ALL alone for 11.5 hours after surgery in a kennel and without food, being let out to go to the bathroom or any followup pain medication! The next morning it was discovered that he had developed a high fever. How long did he have that fever? The vet admitted that he had overheated. A few hours later he DIED. He was 4 years old! How can you leave a pet with NO supervision after a surgery when complications are likely to arise?
