This is NOT authentic Jamaican fare. Okay ""Coconut chicken strips""... The dish does suggest that you're getting an ""americanized"" version of something authentic, but when you list ""Jerk Chicken"" or ""Jerk Pork"" on your menu... Authentic jerk chicken is slow cooked in a 55 gal drum over wood coals. The bones are left in the meat and cooked with the meat. The same goes for jerk pork. The ""Jerk"" is sauce, and is served on the side. That is what I was expecting... Being ""Authentic"" and all. Instead, I got diced, cooked chicken floating in Walkers Woods sauce. The jerk pork was terrible. It had the same consistancy of pate'. I have no idea how either of these were cooked. My best guess is boiled. My wife had a salad which was huge. more
