The evaluation of my radiator problem was accurate. The repair was fine, and resolved my problem. The additional findings, as recorded on the receipt, and as described by the service advisor, were puzzling. I was informed that an error code was found, indicating a cylinder mis-fire. I asked if the check engine light was on, and was told that it was. Additionally, it was noted that the a/c was not working. As part of the initial evaluation, it was reported that apparent collision damage was the likely cause of both the radiator issue and the a/c problem. In summary: there was/is no collision damage, the check engine light was not showing (although the low fuel light was on), the engine runs fine, and the a/c is humming along nicely. I'm glad I followed my instincts and decided against the service advisor's suggestion that I have a full evaluation done for those two issues, since neither "issue" actually existed. Perhaps my car was mistaken for another vehicle? Perhaps the technician mistook the fuel light for the check engine light? In any case, I got what I paid for, and what I brought the car in for. I'm left to wonder about the other observations...
