The store is a bit south of the main Friendship Heights drag, but it's like an old-fashioned emporium--an international one to boot, with foods from Mexico, Germany and Britain. On the top floor are fresh groceries, international foods, and a massive wine selection. If you're buying a case of wine, they have a discount, and if you're trying to figure out what to serve at your dinner party, they offer knowledgeable recommendations. But that's just upstairs.
