fine dining doesn't equal fine service 3/7/2008

on the 15th of january a group of my co-workers and i went to rigsby's for lunch. on the 17th my co-workers had discovered that we had all been charged twice, due to rigsby's credit card machine ""going down"". my charge was $7.56, (by far the smallest bill at the table) the others were in excess of $20.00. i started calling the resteraunt and spoke with the accountant ""we are working on it "" was all i got through several phone calls. then i was able to get in touch with the owner, (after more than 10 days of being told someone would call me back). when i spoke with tassi rigsby she said it was being taken care of. after 30 days of waiting for the $7.56 charge to be removed i called back and spoke with the owner again and she proceeded to tell me that they needed more info off of our credit cards faxed to them in order to go through thier records and find the charges. they couldn't have called to tell us any of this?... because they certainly had our phone numbers. at on point tassi said she would contact one of us within the hour and that never happened. never through any of these conversations with the owner or the accountant was an apology made or the offer of eliminating the charges completely or gift cards or anything. as of the week of the 21st of feb (more than 30 days) when i recieved the credit card correction form, filled it out and sent it back. i have yet to recieve a credit to my account and it has been 39 business days. no excuses.\r stick to old faithfull across the street ""MAC'S"" better service better food and i never have to worry about the charges. Cons: poor customer service even from the owner more
