I used to love Zoots: 24 hour drop off, open until 9 on weekdays, open on Sundays even! Email notification when my order is ready, automatic credit card billing! But... twic...

Pleased with quality of cleaning 9/20/2010

I was very pleased with the quality of cleaning that was done on my shirt.  I had a stain on it that I was unable to remove (I tried several times) and after one cleaning it was gone!  Thank you!! more

short turnaround 6/22/2010

I had a short turnaround between business trips before heading to Hong Kong and was worried that my clothes would not be back in your store in time for me to pick up. Mark checked with the computer and verified that by rushing the order the clothes would return the afternoon prior to my early morning departure. more

Just want to say thanks to Darwin in the Waltham store for taking a lot of effort to find the precious buttons for my jacket, which had been removed when I sent the jacket in for cleaning in the fall, and not noticed by me until I got it out in the spring. THANK YOU DARWIN. He's always a pleasure to see in the store, and now I know that he'll go above and beyond in terms of service. more

Don't go there 3/7/2007

I used to like Zoots. Until they started staining my clothes, and putting in DEEP wrinkles into my shirt cuffs (do you know how hard it is to get those out? Impossible!) Then they started losing my things. They even refused to reimburse me. Horrible dry cleaning and horrible service. I would stick to one of the local cleaners instead. The local cleaners are nicer and treat me like a customer instead of an inconvenience. Don't go to Zoots. more

Was great until recently 10/24/2006

But... twice in the past few months, I've received the wrong clothes. They've temporarily lost some of my shirts. It took them 4 weeks for a repair job; they never repaired 1 pair of pants, and didn't press the other. Discounts and coupons seem to be applied erratically, and you have to pay attention if you want to get the discounts you are owed. Then they seem to have dropped bleach on the cuff of one of my custom-made shirts. And the staff lately seems as if they just can't stand being there. So, back to the local guys. No more sophisticated email-auto-credit-card-billing-high-tech-wizardry for me - I'm back with the guys who know my name and respect their customers. more

Convenient and Dependable 5/3/2006

I don't do a lot of dry cleaning, but I've always been happy with Zoots. They used to give lots of coupons to the women at the health club in the shopping center, but I haven't seen a coupon in years (bummer). That is how they got me hooked, though. Their prices are very fair, and their turnaround is quick (even though sometimes there's a little line). I've never had them ruin or lose an item, which is the common complaint you hear from a lot of other people. The staff is a little quirky but always friendly. I don't think I'd brave the parking lot just to go to Zoots, but it's great for people who are already there. more

Zoots - they're great! 3/22/2006

For years I went to independently owned dry cleaners all over the Porter/Davis/Harvard Sq area. I found a few that did an okay job, for somewhat decent prices. However, now I only use Zoots in the Porter Square Shopping plaza. They are fabulous. Easy to drop off any time of day or night, super quick turn-around time, and they take extra care with your clothing. They actually stuff the sleeves of women's blouses with tissue paper so they don't get all creased and wrinkled after dry cleaning! If you become a "preferred member" you get overnight service for no extra charge! You might pay little bit more than the local shops, but the extra service and attention to detail is really worth it! more
