I love the Lobster Fig Pizza from Zebra's! You can get it at the bar and sink into the couches to eat it or order it in the dining room. The night is perfect if I can get my hus...

Worst

I thought I would give Zebra's one more try tonight. On occasions I have had a very good meal, but more often than not, nothing special. Not worth the prices they are charging. ...

Freshly squeezed orange juice tableside for brunch--how great is that? 7/16/2007

Whenever we want to be sure of a great dining experience, whether for brunch, a cocktail with a snack or a special night out, Zebra's always comes in first. From our very first visit several years back, when Craig used to come to each table and discuss that evening's menu choices, my husband and I realized that this was a man who cared deeply about food, service and his guests. He's never lost this concern ( although he doesn't have a sit-down with every patron any more!) Zebra and its staff are very tuned in to the community and stay young by always offering something interesting. We are looking forward to attending a grilling class and dinner this week, for example. For a great time call 508 359 4100 and make a reservation now! Pros: Brunch, informed service interesting and changing menu Cons: Can't think of any--maybe, parking sometimes more

Exceptional food, everytime 7/16/2007

Zebras is great because it is consistenly delicious. From apps to dessert, the wonderful, sometimes bold, flavors will keep you coming back to this candle-lit restaurant in Medfield. Service has always been prompt and attentive. Great ladies night out or date night! Pros: Ambience, menu variety, drinks, parking, service Cons: can get loud, not good for a large group more

Downtown experience in the suburbs 7/16/2007

A great night out for my wife and me --- especially during the middle of the week. While we enjoy the inside dining room, we really look forward to the patio area and prefer it. more

sushi 7/16/2007

This is the best sushi Ive had in the area, we usually stop into Zebra's at least once a week for take-out. Pros: Sushi, bar, ambience, service more

Great Sushi, Entree's and Desserts 7/16/2007

This is an interesting restaurant with an excellent array of entrees. Even without the addition of sushi a few years ago, it was a very nice place to go for a special dinner or to kick back in the wine bar. With the addition of sushi, it has made Zebra's even more special. Right from the start, the Sushi was excellent and has retained that excellence since opening. I have eaten in a lot of Sushi restaurants and Zebra's keeps up with the best of them. more

Great seafood 7/16/2007

Seafood lovers will love the scallop dish that has excellent sauces to accompany it. As well, Zebra's has a great lobster pizza. And don't miss the unique tempura sushi rolls. My favorite is the Fuji roll that has salmon and cream cheese that warms up to a wonderfully smooth consistancy!! Delicious! Pros: food, ambience, friendly service more

great atmoshere, exceptional food 7/16/2007

My boyfriend and I had our first date at Zebras and we'ver been returning ever since. The atmosphere is relaxed, friendly and sophisticated. We always look forward to wonderfully prepared sushi and a unique martini. Pros: relaxced atmopshere Cons: higher priced more

The best vegetarian risotto I have had. 7/16/2007

The chef created a wonderful dish that was original and satisfying. Unlike other restaurants whose idea of vegetarian plates are chunks of half-steamed vegetables on pasta, this risotto was delicate and flavorful. Creamy to perfection. more

Warm welcome, consistent quality of food, nice ambience 7/16/2007

Whether you ""stop in"" at Zebra's because you're in the neighborhood or if you ""go out of your way"" to make the trip, it is always the same...you are warmly greeted (no matter what time of day), the service is excellent, and the food is superb. It's great for us repeat customers...the chef is creative and there's always a new twist...the food is never boring. The pork dishes are always my favorite, as well as some of the ""trio"" entrees they serve. And the wine is always great...it's nice to see such a great variety offered by the glass - not your typical Chardonnay, Merlot and Cabs. Pros: Warm welcome, consistent quality of food, nice ambience, outdoor seating more

Phenomenal dining 7/16/2007

Zebra's is fantastic - Fresh, delicious sushi, attentive staff, great wine recommmedations, incredibly inventive specials, and don't miss out on the apps, like the trio of pates and the fig & lobster pizza!! This spot rivals and beats anything you might find in the city and beyond.. And that's coming from a former chef & hospitality executive!! Pros: Food, ambience, staff, wine more

Zebra's...best in the West 7/16/2007

Zebra's, Medfield's and Boston's best little restaurant, bar and bistro. Pros: Food, sushi, service, desert, catering more

Best place for a girls' night out or for that romantic dinner...away from the hassles of the city! 7/16/2007

I have gone to Zebra's Bistro on several occasions including a leisurely, relaxing dinner with friends at which time I was introduced to Zebra's wonderful wine flights - so many choices! The desserts were sharable and deliciously elegant, as well. A romantic evening out with a special someone or spouse is also a worthwhile experience both for the dinner choices as well as the atmosphere. You are never rushed at Zebra's - you are encouraged to savor the meal, libations, dessert and your dining party! Pros: overall great Cons: parking more

Best appetizer 7/16/2007

Zebra's has the absolutely best appetizer. It is the lobster and fig pizza. This is a wonderful blend of tastes that makes a wonderful entree as well. We have also ordered this item for take-out to eat at home. The atmosphere is not the same but it still tastes great! We also enjoy Zebra's knowledgable wait staff. Our favorite waitress is Jean! more

We are a couple who like to sit at the bar and have dinner. 7/16/2007

We are a couple who like to sit at the bar and have dinner. The bartenders are friendly and attentive, even when busy. My husband gets the sirloin with mashed potatoes, very hot and on the side, and has been pleased every time. I am partial to the Frisee and endive salad with a crispy bacon and pommery mustard vinaigrette, a poached egg (my request instead of over easy) and grape tomatoes, the PEI mussels and the crab cakes. I must say their sushi is one of the best around, being made with the best and freshest of ingredients. The sushi chef is even agreeable to make up what or how I would like something. As everyone needs ust a little something sweet to end a meal we like to see what is on the changing dessert menu. There is always something interesting to try and just the right amount to end a meal. more

We love Zebra's 7/16/2007

Our favorite weeknight outing is a trip to Zebra's for dinner in the comfy lounge chairs. Love the sushi, the salads and the yummy pizzas. Of course the main courses are delcious but we prefer to have our food served in the lounge. Pros: comfy lounge chairs and delicious sushi Cons: The secret of the lounge is out. One needs to get there early (or be lucky) to nab a few seats. more

Zebra's. a most special gem in the suburbs 7/16/2007

How lucky was I when Zebra's showed up in my own backyard.? What a coop it has been for Medfield and surrounding towns to have such a special restaurant so nearby. Whether it be a celebration, a quiet dinner for two or a casual visit for cocktails and an appetizer ...each experience is uniquely it's own wonderful evening. The owner is always friendly and constantly working to add fresh ideas to his already flourishing enterprise. His presence shows you just how dedicated he is to this business. The staf f is friendly and go out of their way to make sure that everything is just to your liking. The fresh tantalizing Sushi alone is a reason to go. However, one must try the infamous Fig & Lobster Pizza, the sweet scallop dishes and the yummy Blue Cheese burger in order to truly understand the variety of delectable treats at you beck and call. Zebra's is a one of a kind experience. Do yourself a favor and give it a try. You won't regret it. more

Best Night Out in Town 7/16/2007

Zebra has great ambiance and terrific food. I have introduced many friends, and no one has been disappointed. My vegetarian friends have been more than satisfied by the chef's personalized creations, and I have enjoyed everything, from risotto, to sushi to duck -- the latter of which was rich, but not greasy and prepared medium rare, just as I ordered it. The creme brule is a favorite of my husband's -- who appreciated the dried cranberry garnish contrasting with the lemony flavor and creamy texture under the perfect caramelized crust. The hostess and servers are knowledgeable and friendly. If I had one complaint its that the comfy seating in the bar area is snapped up so quickly, and it can get noisy when full. Pros: Lovely ambience, great food, terrific staff. Cons: The lovely tin ceiling, uncarpeted floors and uncurtained windows contribute to the noise. more

Fantastic! 7/16/2007

The atmosphere is funky but classy, and the food is very yummy. They also have great meals for vegetarians- which are sometimes hard to find! The phyllo-wrapped asparagus is my favorite thing-- possibly the best side vegetable I've ever been served in a restaurant. Highly recommended! Pros: Great atmosphere, even better food Cons: parking more

I didn't even want to try it... 7/16/2007

Who would put figs and lobster on a pizza? I would never had ordered it but the friends I was with did.....and it's just so delicious....you should go, just to try this one menu item! more

Our favorite restaraunt 7/16/2007

After our first dinner at Zebra's we were hooked. It is by far the best restaraunt in the area; worth a drive if you don't live near by. From the service to the atmosphere, to the quality of the food, Zebra's beats the competition by far. Each time we go, either alone or with a group of friends, we are always impressed. Pros: superb cuisine, atmosphere, bar atmosphere Cons: Its not closer to my house, menu is pricey more
