Zebra has great ambiance and terrific food. I have introduced many friends, and no one has been disappointed. My vegetarian friends have been more than satisfied by the chef's personalized creations, and I have enjoyed everything, from risotto, to sushi to duck -- the latter of which was rich, but not greasy and prepared medium rare, just as I ordered it. The creme brule is a favorite of my husband's -- who appreciated the dried cranberry garnish contrasting with the lemony flavor and creamy texture under the perfect caramelized crust. The hostess and servers are knowledgeable and friendly. If I had one complaint its that the comfy seating in the bar area is snapped up so quickly, and it can get noisy when full.
Pros: Lovely ambience, great food, terrific staff.
Cons: The lovely tin ceiling, uncarpeted floors and uncurtained windows contribute to the noise.
