I love the Lobster Fig Pizza from Zebra's! You can get it at the bar and sink into the couches to eat it or order it in the dining room. The night is perfect if I can get my hus...

Worst

I thought I would give Zebra's one more try tonight. On occasions I have had a very good meal, but more often than not, nothing special. Not worth the prices they are charging. ...

Most creative brunch scene around 7/18/2007

Where else can you try bananas foster french toast, lobster frittatas, or omelets with caramelized onions, and goat cheese? The menu's creativity is to die for! Pros: Sushi is the best around, and you haven't lived until you've had teh lobster fig pizza Cons: Wait can sometimes be an hour or more more

Good Food, Great Atmosphere 7/18/2007

Zebra's is a great place to go for either a romantic night out or to celebrate with friends or family. There is a nice lounge area with comfy chairs and attentive cocktail waitresses at you walk in, and I often show up an hour or so before I plan to eat to just ahng out and have a drink with my friends. The dining area is small, but very comfy and the art on the walls creates a fun, eclectic but classy ambiance. The service has always been outstanding, and I believe many of the staff have worked there for quite a while (in fact, I have had the same server ot my table each of the last 2-3 times my family has eaten there during the Christmas season). The food is prepared superbly (medium actually has some pink still showing, medium-rare is not charred, etc) and I have always enjoyed the variety of ingredients found in their various dishes. Additionally, there is a sushi bar available, but I have not tried it to-date. more

Excellent seasonal dishes! 7/18/2007

We love going to Zebra's, but particularly when the menu changes to accommodate the new season's ingredients. The dishes are always fresh, presentation is beautiful, and prices are moderate considering the high quality. The wine list is long, and specialty martinis and cocktails are delish. The lounge music creates a nice bar scene but dining room tables could be a little cozier. Still a great date spot or place to celebrate with family and friends, as we often do. Join the rewards program, and get a free entree in the month of your birthday! Pros: FOOD! Excellent quality Cons: Location is good for those of us in the 'burbs, but tough for city-dwellers more

Innovative dining - food, drinks and presentation 7/18/2007

We've enjoyed the ambiance, food and wine list since Zebra's first opened and are thankful for having such a great dining establishment so close to home. The menu is brief but varied enough that there is always something of interest. The wine list provides nice diversity w/o the usual 200% mark-up that you too frequently find when there is also good food. more

Great Group Dining 7/18/2007

We had two families join for a fabulous Mother's day brunch (6 adults and 5 children ages 5-11). They were very accomodating to the children and offered a great variety of Mimosas to the mom's. The service was good and we never felt rushed. Zebra's has a casual atmosphere for daytime dining to bring children, It is a lovely place in the evening to go for a date. Wonderful dining experience, highly recommended 7/17/2007

We have been to Zebra's on many occasions...since it opened several years ago but this is my first review. Generally, we are hesitant to recommend places to go, but we always recommend Zebra's with no hesitation...and our friends have always thanked us for the great suggestion! We have always loved our experience when going to Zebra's. The food is exquisite, the wines are wonderful and the desserts are absolutely heavenly. One suggestion, I recommend that you look at their website at their menu's, which change seasonally. Although the menu is not lengthy, there are so many tasty items that it can take you a long time to decide. I check out the menus in anticipation of the wonderful dining experience. This is our first time message however we have dined at Zebra's numerous times and each experience has been wonderful. The food is outstanding. The staff is very friendly and allows you plenty of time to savor the meal. The menu has a nice variety of dishes to choose from. One is never overwhelmed with trying to make a menu selection. more

Great Place, Good Food 7/17/2007

Zebra's Bistro is a great small restaurant that is always enjoyable. The food has always been nothing but exceptional. One of my favorite things about Zebra's is that the restaurant is small, so its not overly loud, so its perfect when you want a night out to enjoy each others company. The lobster and fig pizza is like nothing you've ever had and worth the drive alone. But all the meals I?ve had were great! more

Best restaurant within 45 minutes of Boston 7/17/2007

Who would have thought there could be such an enjoyable and creative restaurant in a former post office? Zebra's occupies the space formerly used by the Medfield Post Office and for the past 4 or 5 years has been presenting some of the most nourishing and enjoyable cooking in the nearby suburbs of Boston. Service is great and the comfortable and relaxed atmosphere makes for a great meal or brunch. more

Fantastic Wine Spot 7/17/2007

I fell in love with Zebra's the first time I went there...just sitting in the lounge with a couple of friends and a bottle of wine. I've been back about 3 times over the past few years for dinner and have continually been impressed. There are always lots of great choices for beef and seafood lovers. I can't wait to go back! Living in Boston, it's also nice to get out of the city and still have a great night out! Pros: Location, Menu, Wine list Cons: Price more

Excellent dining in Medfield 7/17/2007

My husband and I love going to Zebra's Bistro! It's a wonderful and relaxing break from our daily routine. It definitely compares to a downtown Boston restaurant - we're always had excellent and highly attentive servers who are always knowledgeable about the menu and willing and able to make terrific recommendations. We're particular fans of the innovative seafood dishes - the seafood is always very fresh and cooked to perfection. A good variety of wines and cocktails as well. Highly recommended. Zebra's food matches its fabulous ambiance 7/17/2007

When Zebra's first opened, my husband and I tried it a couple of times. Although it had the most sophisticated and comfortable environment in Metrowest, we found the food disappointing. At the prices they charge, one has the right to compare Zebra's to Boston restaurants. They just didn't make the cut. I don't know what happened, but I've eaten there twice in recent months and can now rave about the food as well as the ambiance. If you live anywhere within driving distance of Medfield, this restaurant is worth the drive. The menu is always interesting, the bar area divine (in fact, it's the only place I know of in Metrowest that has a really pleasant bar area. The seating is pleasant and comfortable, and the bar menu is great!). Also, check your mail for dining coupons. You can get a real bargain here. ALWAYS TOP OF MIND FOR DATE NIGHT 7/17/2007

The sign of any good business is that its ""top of mind"" - and Zebra's certainly fits that description. Whenever my wife and I have the rare opportunity (between all the commitments and events with our children) to go out for a nice dinner together, Zebra's always comes to mind first! We start by enjoying a cocktail and enjoying the always lively bar scene - - then move to the bistro environs for dinner. The menu is always full of new choices and ""standard"" favorites; the presentation spectacular; and the taste and value on-the-mark. And the crowd is usually just eclectic enough to be highly entertaining. Zebra's may not be flawless, as sometimees the wait is a bit long, and once in a great while a food item may not meet your high standards. But its environment, menu, and execution - all wrapped up in their generous ""Zebra's Rewards"" frequent dining program - will have you leaving happy, appreciated, and ready to come back. more

HOME-MADE SANGRIA DURING THE SUMMER IS AWESOME. DESSSERT MENU IS ALWAYS GOOD. FINALLY, SUNDAY BRUNCH IS EXCELLENT AND PARTICULARLY GREAT FOR FAMILIES, TOO. more
