Best store ever for quality USA made furniture.

Worst

Please stay far away! Once you hand them your money, they forget about you. We ordered our furniture in September and it was just delivered in July. They gave us 4 delivery dates ...

I went in their to purchase a painting for my dining room. At york they have a great selection of artwork & furniture! i ended up walking out with a great painting and a gorgeous new love seat. sales went very smoothly and everything went off without a hitch. more

I had a wonderful shopping experience at York. I was told to go there by a friend. My salesperson Brenda, was friendly and very helpful. I was purchasing furniture for my 1st apartment so design assistance was needed. I ended up purchasing a leather sofa, 2 leather loveseats, a dinette table and 4 chairs, a tv stand and a set of cocktail and end tables. On my move-in day as promised I got everything but the tv stand (which I was told would take a couple weeks.) The deliverymen were friendly and all my furniture was in perfect condition. Based on my experience I would definitely recommend York Furniture Gallery to my friends. more

Professional & friendly service 4/14/2011

It seems to me that all the negative reviews must be "planted" as our experience with York was pleasant and professional. We bought 2 bedroom sets and crib with help from the owner. She spent a lot of time helping us to make the right choices. Happy with the quality of the furniture, pricing and delivery. Furniture was a special order but the delivery time was reasonable. Delivery men were pleasant and professional. One of the bed slats was broken and replaced within a week without complaint or extra charge. I would purchase from York in the future and happy to recommend them to friends. more

IF YOU ENJOY PAIN... 2/26/2011

Stay away from this store...,my advice. Apparently our experience where the store employees make promises, does not deliver on them, and then deny that they made them is a frequent experience at this store. We needed a chair quickly. The store said that they could deliver it iwithn three weeks. It took 10 weeks. Then it came damaged (scratches and other multiple other dents) and the store refused to do anything about it, even though they originally said that they would fix it.. "Unsatisfactory" is too good a rating for the experience. If you enjoy pain, this is likely a good place to find it. more

Great Quality and Service 1/17/2011

My husband and I had a great experience with York Furniture Gallery. We purchased a bedroom set a week ago and it was delivered yesterday. The manager was very helpful and gave us a $200 discount without us even asking. We didn't feel pressured to buy like some other furniture stores have made us feel. The furniture was delivered in great condition and the delivery people were very nice and professional. We are absolutely thrilled with every aspect of our experience purchasing furniture there and will return when we are looking for furniture again! We'd definitely recommend them! more

Warning This Place is Bad 12/20/2010

I just got to warn you not to do business with these people. Don't get me wrong the sales people aren't bad people - but the so called manager will give you bad information - almost bordering lies - when "helping" with decisions. I bought a sofa and told it would be 3 weeks and after 12 weeks finally got it. No apologies no compensation no nothing. more

My mom bought a chair from this *&%O place and we got it home it actually had a urine stain on it!! I called the store and they said it was brand new and nothing would be done for her. I had the stain tested and it was urine!! They will hear more from us and it won't be nice. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE more
