Our insurance provider selected YAZD to handle our AC issue. In the beginning of July, we asked them to come out and take a look because it kept cutting off randomly. We had to call them out four times and each time they said they did not know the cause and could not diagnose it - the last time we asked them to come out was in the middle of August. We also had to request that they send us the invoice after each visit because days afterward, we were still without one; we are still waiting on the invoice from August's service call in fact. We had to predict when it would stop working so we could call them out each time, just to prove that we were, in fact, still having issues. Three out of the four times they came out, our AC unit was completely shut off and not working - it certainly was not working during their last service call in August when they "guessed" it was due to a faulty electric panel box and suggested that we replace the breakers, which we did, and the unit is still not working. Considering the length of time we went without air conditioning, we had to purchase standing fans to make the house somewhat cooler; again, more money out of our own pocket. After the fourth visit, we knew this company would be of no help and every time I requested to speak with a manager/owner, I was told by reception that he/she was unavailable but that the message would be delivered. Still waiting on that phone call. The last call I made to them, I told the receptionist we wanted to go with another company through our insurance provider and she agreed. She said she would call our home warranty company and let them know that we needed a different company to come out and that the insurance provider would call me with info shortly. After a few days of not receiving a call from them, I reached out and they informed me that YAZD had called but had told them THERE WAS NO ISSUE WITH OUR UNIT. I said this information was incorrect so our home insurance rep checked the documents they sent and agreed that they lied. Wow. more

Complete scam artists. I have had the same experience as many using a home warranty. First time he came out, he stated the compressor was fine and that I need to spend $553 to clean out the condenser line and add Freon....and oh by the way, the warranty doesn't cover it. Two days later the A/C crashes again and he comes back out despite my request with the warranty company to change techs and it was determined the compressor was bad. The warranty company says they will cover replacement of the compressor, but not the modification. I asked "what modification?" YAZD stated they need to modify the piping of the system to install the compressor and I owe another $325. I said hell no...he is not an engineer and did not design the system. He has zero authority to modify a trane system. I am still in the middle of this battle, but I informed the warranty company they had better contact trane before making modifications to the A/C. And apparently he doesn't understand how to deal with thermostats other than honeywell and according to my tenant, he won't even assist in trying to resolve a programming issue. My tenants have essentially been without A/C for 3 weeks thanks to this company and their practices. more

I am very glad I found YAZD. They replaced my 28 years old air conditioner and furnace . Great work and performance . Sean did me a huge favore on the payments. more

Very on time.Tech called 30 minutes prior to arrival . They both had shoe cover all the time inside of my house. Very professional people.Highly recommend. more

We had a broken AC . They got to my house at 9:00 am (appointment time was 8 to 10).They had uniforms with shoe covers. In 15 minutes diagnosed ,fixed it very professionally ( there was a low voltage shortage on my system) .I pad $79 service call fee and $20 for repair. very reasonable price. more

Our home appliance insurance company sent Yazd Mechanical to our house. The company claims a strong tradition to a city in Iran known for its natural wind coolants. The service tech who arrived at our house shames the Persian culture the company claims to uphold. Without even saying a word, he came into the house and within minutes claimed that our AC problem was a clogged pipe that the insurance company wouldn't pay to repair. He cut another section of the pipe, drained some water, put on a bandaid solution. When I tried to ask him questions, he rolled his eyes and responded rudely. When I called the company he answered the phone, said he was the owner, and when I said I would be filing a complaint, he responded, "I don't give a s*** and hung up on me." Don't use this company. more

Do not ever use these guys, horrible customer service. Just blew me away how rude they were. more

We had our Air Condioner broken and this company installed a new unit for us and they did a very neat job without charging me a lot. High quality work more
