Repair of outside outlet 10/21/2014

Robert Anderson's last three visits 10/3/2014

My favorite plumber, Robert Anderson, came to my home 9-22-14 to check on a wet spot on a ceiling. He quickly determined the roof needed a roof collar over a vent. Nothing plumbing-wise. No charge, nothing done. On 9-30-14 he responded and replaced a 'dead' water heater. He also recommended a whole house sediment filter system and came back on 10-3-14 with the estimate. My wife & I are mulling over this expense. I also attempted to give Woodfin a new customer thru Robert, but found out the company does not go to Amelia County. Robert is very thorough, does not make a mess and is a wonderful representative of the Woodfin family. Hope he stays there for many years to come. Many thanks to all the Woodfin employees I have worked with in 2014, including the folks on the telephones. more

David Baker, Heat Pump Service Specialist 9/4/2014

On September 2, David Baker arrived at my house to restore air-conditioning that had stopped the morning before on Labor Day. He immediately started diagnosing the problem at the heat pump and had replaced the compressor, a relay, and another cylinder in a matter of minutes. He continued to check the entire unit with precise and careful analysis; he examined the furnace unit in the utility room...and checked the house thermostat...all within a little over an hour! He was courteous, extremely pleasant, and so, so knowledgeable. What efficiency!!! He is absolutely a huge asset to the Woodfin organization! Lynn Myers more

Superior Service 3/28/2014

Woodfin continues to provide superior service for my heating & cooling systems. Today was the second time Adam G came to my house for a service call (different issues several months apart; I want to be clear it's not because he didn't fix something right the first time). He is always professional and courteous. I have found this to be the case with every Woodfin technician that I've dealt with since buying my house 15 years ago. Adam even remembered that the last time he was here was to fix noisy pipes that were right below my daughter's bedroom (and were scaring her at night). Today I upgraded to the Whole Home plan from my existing furnace/heat pump plans. For an additional $11 a year, I now am covered for plumbing and electrical. And I'm considering switching to Woodfin for my home security system because I'm unhappy with my current provider and have had nothing but positive experiences with Woodfin. Woodfin is fantastic! more

The technicians at Woodfin have been most helpful. They answered all my questions and made suggestions that might make things easier for me going forward. Patrick came to my house to replace Sensor Lights for the back yard, he was very professional, well mannered, polite, well spoken, and he listened to what I needed and why, was very helpful in helping me pick the new lights and explained how they worked, the price and how long the job would take. I received quality service, the price was very reasonable, he is a very competent worker and I had an excellent experience with Patrick M. and Woodfin. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone that needed electrical, heat, air, plumbing and refrigeration. If I could I would give this 10 stars!! more

Neill arrived on time and was dressed professionally. He immediately determined the problem and went about solving it. At all times he was courteous and professional. He wasted no time in taking care of my request for service. He spent a great deal of time covering all requests. When he was finished, I checked all the repairs and they were completed perfectly.
