Worst

to make a long story short, the vet there was an idiot! He misdiagnosed my dog,and wouldn't help me after she had kidney failure! Also missed addison's disease in my sister's do...

been going here for 14 yrs doc ducrane is the best but he made a huge mistake by taking in doc phfifer I brought my dog 12 years old in to have him put to rest and end his suffering doc phifer stuck him in the leg 3 times with a needle cause she couldn't find the vein the dog was screaming in pain I told her to get out and send in doc ducrane 2 years later I have a issue with my puppy becoming very sick I called wise rd and doc ducrane was out and the receptionist said pfifer wouldn't take my call after arguing she finally got on and told me to ge somewhere else due to the incident 2 yr ago HOW INCOMPETANT ,UNPROFESIONAL AND IGGNORANT can a person be to harbor anger cause her feelings got hurt due to her incompetence good riddance doc ducrane made a huge mistake hiring phifer beware people she is vindictive as well as incompatant more

Wonderful Place 3/22/2012

I have been taking my two dogs there for four years now. One dog is healthy so just the basic yearly visits. The other dog has some problems with her eyes. Dr. DeCraene is wonderful. One morning my dog lost her vision and we quickly called and they took us right away. He gave her a shot of steroids and she was put on a milder steroid daily after that...with in 4 days she eye sight was back. We had her checked out by an eye specialist and he said the quick acting on our vets part saved her vision. Dr. DeCraene knows his stuff. I would highly recommend this place. more

SUPERB CARE 3/1/2012

I have 3 cats; each has their own set of health issues. The ""worst"" one is my 18 yo cat with asthma, high blood pressure, arthritis and who is now blind. Dr. Pfeiffer scratches her head -- as do the techs -- and talks softly to her. The lights are even turned down low and a little pad is put onto the table so Shadow is more comfortable. For a cat that gets pretty stressed when ""visiting"" the vet, she is the best she's ever been and doesn't ""scream"" too loud! The other two were pretty docile as they seem to know they're getting the best of care from staff that truly likes what they're doing! AND, they're always punctual! more

Excellent Doctors, Amazing Service! 4/9/2010

I have taken my dog to Wise Road for 5 years and I would absolutley recommend them to anyone! Dr. DeCraene really gets to know your pet and its needs. I know that my dog is in excellent hands when I bring her to Wise Road! Pros: Great doctors who really care about your pets! more

Caring staff and good Doctors 3/22/2010

I have been going to Wise Road for a year now with my cats. Dr. DeCraene and Dr. Pfeiffer have always been very helpful and caring. The staff there really seems to love their jobs as well and like dealing with people with pets. Even when the time came to put my cat down, I knew that she had received every bit of care I could afford and they never made me feel badly for not being able to continue her treatment. I highly recommend this hospital to all my friends. The only drawback may be that they are not very big (only 2 doctors), with no specialists, but I liked that because I got to know both Doctors pretty well and they also got to know my pets pretty well too. Great vet with compassionate people 2/20/2009

I have been going to Wise Road for many years. First with my dog and then now with my cat. They have always been helpful and showed great care and compassion for my pets. I had to put my dog down when he got bladder cancer and the folks at Wise Road felt the same pain we did. You can tell they truly love animals and have been nothing but great experts and caretakers of both of my animals. more

bad hospital-don't go there! 2/19/2009

DO NOT GO TO WISE ANIMAL HOSPITAL- VERY UNHELPFUL, BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE 11/18/2008

I recently moved, and my old vet is over 30 miles away. Wise Animal Hospital, who i was hoping to be my new vet, will not sell me my cats food now, although last month I was told if my old vet faxed over documents it would be fine. My other vet is also willing to call them. But they want me to pay for an appointment so they can ""meet my cat"" before they will sell me his food. Nice try. Ill find a new vet around here that will actually HELP. Cons: BIG THUMBS DOWN! more
