Totally price gouging 10/26/2011

I don't know if it's just the renter's, or if homeowner's in Windermere are getting gouged too. But I know for a fact that the bill I was getting at my 1000 sq ft rental, where the lawn was never watered, was $50-75 higher than my ex's 1800 sqft house with a well watered lawn in Heatherwilde. And now their raising rates again. I'm so glad I moved away from Pflugerville and this water co. more

Worst Water Utility Co I have EVER encountered 10/4/2011

I would rate it -100 if I could. Where do I start? First they price gauge the residents of Windermere. My electricity & my gas bill are both LESS than my water bill. How ridiculous is this? Next the water quality is HORRIBLE. The water comes out of the drain & looks like milk with all kinds of particles floating in it. I'm told by the CSR that this is ""normal"" due to flushing pipes & the water quality is ok. Really??? it taste & smells disgusting. NOW they are trying to raise our rates AGAIN??? We should have access to city utilities as we do for electric & garbage. SELL THE WATER RIGHTS TO THE CITY ALREADY!!!!!!!!!!! My bill is a minimum $78 per month for 1 adult/1 toddler in a townhouse that is less than 1000 square feet. I use 3000 gallons per month & before I even get a bill....this means zero usage - just for the ""privilege"" of having this company it is $40.....then you get billed for the water & sewer on top of the $40 & the want to raise it??? MONOPOLY...this is should be ILLEGAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! more

Absolutely the Worst Water Company ever...... 5/4/2011

Their billing is so bad that my water has been cut off twice this year. No reminders and if you're late by 1 in a half weeks, you're cut off....period. I'm starting the auto pay feature as of now. We'll see if this actually works. They love to hold onto your bills so that they can charge late fees as well. Wish we could pick water companies just like you can pick Electric out here. BILL PAY ON LINE - WTC HOLDS ON TO PAYMENT 5/3/2011

In the past upon sending by check or paying on line the Windermere Utilty Billing Company personnel hold on to the check until after the due date. This will then be sent back to the house demanding another $16.54 in late payment fees. In the past the meter readers had the ability to read meters that required lifting the metal covers and actually reading it. How they did that with the grass covering it so well is a good case for fraud. more

Billing problems 9/13/2010

Company insists that their great system shows it mailed the correspondence. Humm, why would the post office want to keep my bill unless there is someone there wanting to pay other peoples bills. This is the ONLY bill that has problems arriving. Of course it's my fault and have to deal with the nasty grams that never seem to get lost. Please update your information so we can find you easier. My apologies to the poor person who has to endure all the phone calls that she receives due to the incorrect internet number listed for the last 2 yrs. more

The Worst Billing Dept EVER!! 9/1/2009

I have complained for 3 months about not receiving a bill. The bill never comes but the termination warning always does. Today I come home and no water. They cashed the check a week ago. When I called them they said they never received it. I asked them to take another look as they cashed the check. I was told that they don't do that because that department leaves at 6. They have a new billing company and it has been a nightmare. I have other friends who are experiencing the same thing. We are moving from Pflugerville. Good luck to anyone who gets this company for your water supplier. Pros: Absolutely none Cons: They never get the billing straight more
