Loved Our Visit 4/19/2007

Now granted, we visited during the ice storm in January so I can only imagine since it was crowded enough that night that a regular weeknight might be quite busy but our waitress was delightful, the food was quite amazing and the peach cobbler though a little sweet for my personal taste was beautiful. We tried the pork, a steak and I had a very good pasta dish. I would certainly recommend WIldfire for atmosphere, service and creativity of the dishes. You won't be disappointed, we certainly weren't. more

Not Worth the Cost 3/9/2007

This is the only fine dining I've been to in Georgetown, so I don't know how it compares there. I've dined often in Austin, and would drive down there again rather than go to Wildfire. Waiter was bad, hostess bad, reservations ignored. Food took forever to come out and though the beginning courses were great flavor-wise, the entrees were less appealing. Crowded layout, loud music, overly priced and pretentious without living up to the standard. Just not worth the price! more

Excellent dinners, generous portions -- skip the breakfast 11/7/2005

We've had wonderful meals at Wildfire. Huge, perfectly cooked steaks, excellent marinated pork, hot soft rolls and the best Margarita we've had in the area (hint - have your waiter specify the bartender to make it with Cointreau). The preparations are imaginative for this part of TX and the value is high for the cost. The waitstaff is excellent. Skip the breakfast, though -- portions are small, service is rushed and unprofessional, and the food isn't great. more
