i was going to go to the white room but when i contacted them about a couple of dresses they got nasty with me the site says they have jasmine bridal but when asked it was no we don't carry them and they wanted me to order a dress over the phone with out trying it on more

I decided to go to the White Room after my friend strongly recommended it! She got her gown and our bridesmaids dresses there and the whole experience was fun and easy. Originally, I was out of state when we had to order the dresses and the White Room helped me over the phone. When it was my turn to shop for bridal gowns I was just as impressed in person as I was over the phone! At first I was only allowed to pick a few gowns, but once my consultant pulled more gowns for me I completely understood why. She pulled a gown I never would have liked on the hanger, but I fell in love with it!! My consultant took the time to help me pick out jewelry, veils and bridesmaid dresses. The White Room has a lot of gowns for you to choose from. They were really helpful before I made my purchase...key word, before. I found a beautiful gown that I love and after that, they ignored me, even when I was still shopping for veils etc. I sent well over 10k worth of business to them through my own wedding and a friends and was never once told ""thank you"" for any of my purchases. When I bought my veil ($500+), it was given to me all wadded up and terribly wrinkled. When I asked them to steam it they weren't too happy about doing it. I'm not picky...really I'm not, even as a bride...but when you spend that kind of money you expect at least just basic politeness. Of the 6 or so times I have been in the store, I was treated well only once, when I was trying on dresses. After that, I was ignored or treated like a child. I absolutely love The White Room! I am newly engaged and went there to shop for the perfect gown with my friends and mom. The girls there are so nice and really knowledgeable. I felt so special and they were honest, not just trying to sell me a gown for the money. My consultant pulled a gown for me that I would have never tried on and it is the ONE! I have been to other shops in Nashville, but there was nothing to compare how great of an experience I had. You have to visit here if you are bridal gown hunting. I was really looking forward to my experience at the White Room, trekking from Nashville with 3 of my best friends for a fun day of gown shopping. I heard good things about the White Room and read the reviews here, and was excited to find a large selection of low-moderate priced gowns. The downside was the service!! Chelsie was our consultant- don't book her- and was rude to me, rude to my friends, and sent us the vibe that she couldn't wait for us to leave! She rushed us, told my friends to stop helping me, and acted like she was doing me a favor by letting me look around. I asked her for suggestions once I had determined I wanted a mermaid-looking dress, and she gave NONE. Told me to go back and look myself. I wouldn't buy a dress here if my life depended on it... I'm sure other consultants are better, but I had a terrible experience here!! Pros: Large selection for low-moderate price points Cons: Bad service, too crowded, just plain rude more

Ashlee helped me to pick out a dress which I love. She took the time to ask me what I wanted and then walked through the room with me to pick out dresses I thought I'd like. Unfortunately, I was by myself but Ashlee helped me to make a final decision which I feel very confident with. I had a wonderful experience and would recommend the White Room to any bride. I have nothing but good things to say about The White Room. After some bad experiences at some of the others in Nashville i was hesitant to make the hike out to Lebanon but it was well worth it!! They are very helpful, pleasant and organized. They even contacted all my bridesmaids and got their measurements and deposits for me. They did not hound you to buy but they gave you just enough attention. I bought my wedding dress there and my bridesmaids' And their onsite taylor was wonderful. I would absolutely recommend them to all brides. more

This was the third place I went to try on wedding dresses. The White Room by far had the greatest variety of dresses. I went to try on dresses on a Saturday and they were completely slammed, but I had made an appointment and I had someone helping me from the moment I walked in the door, even though there were a ton of other people there. I went to pick up my dress on a Tuesday afternoon and it was dead- not a soul in the whole store! KM helped me try dresses on. She was awesome, offering opinions of what I might like, but was not pushy to make me feel like I had to like what she picked out. The process was simple and amazing. My dress came in a couple weeks earlier than we expected and The White Room made sure to call and let me know it was in. Taline helped me when I picked up the dress. She was great helping me try on different bridal slips and shoes. She let me walk around and sit in the dress as long as I wanted. She also helped me try on different veils and made serveral calls about special order veils and called me the next day with all of my requested information. If you want someone to care about you, go here. Don't expect to be a queen anywhere you go--everyone that is a customer is a bride just like you, but they will treat you right. The owner is SOOO GIVING. She did EVERYTHING to make my dress, shoes, veil, and jewelry look wonderful. Go here. That's all you need to know. Pros: SO GIVING more

ok Ladies.. here is the deal. Out of the hundreds of customers that the White Room gets, only a few have written bad reviews. It disappoints me that some people may not have shopped at this store just because of a few disgruntled brides or moms. I totally understand that planning a wedding is a stressful time for everyone. Really, what little girl doesn't dream of a princess wedding?? However, I have yet to see a wedding that went off without a hitch unless it was backed by plenty of money and coordinated COMPLETELY by an efficient wedding planner. Its just life :-) So, before you totally disregard the place, really really read the reviews.. see what you can do differently to make your wedding day memorable. And anyways, the really bad reviews were back in 2007. Lots of things can happen and changes can be made in 2 years. I personally am gonna go and let Melanie help me with my bridal stuff next spring. And, I plan on not stressing about it because I know she is professional and very competent. I have all the faith in the world that she will do an outstanding job :-) more

I had been told shortly after getting engaged last year that I HAD to check out The White Room- which I did. I was instantly amazed at their incredible selection of high end wedding dresses at prices I could easily afford. Being SUPER picky, a year later (and almost 7 months before my wedding) I had yet to find a dress I absolutely adored. After having a TERRIBLE experience Village Bridal, but finding a dress I loved there, the White Room (specifically Melanie and her staff) went above and beyond their call of duty, emailing Pronovias headquarters to track down an older dress that had been deceitfully marked by Village Bridal. Within 24 hours, Melanie had emailed me a picture of my dream dress, and the best news is the dress was listed $500 LESS than Village had been marketing it!!! Pros: Excellent Staff, Superior Selection, Low Prices, EVERYTHING! Cons: Can be busy during peak hours (particularly Saturdays), but that's kind of a given!!, Driving from Nashville it's a little bit of a drive- but SOO worth it! more

I began my perfect wedding gown search only a week after our engagement because I knew we had a short engagement and needed to get on the ball. The logical thought- so I thought- was David's Bridal. My Matron of Honor did not say a word when I suggested David's Bridal, she just told me she was making an appointment for us at The White Room, also. When I left David's Bridal I was completely discouraged! The people were rude and very unhelpful, the dresses were just average, and none of it made me feel like a bride, but I thought that is what I was going to get on a limited budget. When I arrived at The White Room the next day I didn't come with high expectations which made the experience even better :) The moment that we walked in I knew it was going to be an entirely different experience and it was. My friend and I picked out all the dresses we wanted to and no one was rude to us, I could try the same dress on 3 times with no sarcastic remarks, and I could even try the tiara on with every dress instead of having to decide on one dress only before I could accessorize (which is a HUGE deciding factor) The best part is that Megan is the one that suggested a dress that I hadn't even picked and it turned out to be the one. Since I was on limited time I was able to buy the Limited Edition right off the floor and take it home with me. I couldn't ask for better customer service and I am a HIGH Maintenance girl =) I did not order my dress so I cannot vouch for that but as for prices, selection, and customer service I could not have asked for anything more. I recently purchased my wedding gown at the White Room. My first reaction was that there is a variety of dresses for a variety of prices. I usually have expensive taste, but I was shocked when the dress I decided on was much lower than $1,000. They also have beautiful dresses that are priced higher, but these are the same beautifl gowns you see in the fashion pages of bridal magazines. Overall they have a great selection for anyone's budget.

I am getting married later this year. I went to the White Room after Davids Bridal and Bridal Warehouse. I tried on three Beautiful gowns. The third fit perfect. They allowed me to buy it off the floor that day and only had to pay half. I then started paying as I could afford. They have been extremely helpful. After purchasing my gown I got 10 % off on everything else including bridesmaids dresses and flowergirls. ( I have 11 total). We have been notified promptly everytime something has changed with my order in order for us to make plans. Also if getting the tuxes there for every 6th tux you order, you get one free. This is extremely helpful especially if you had 16 tuxes to order like myself. I also have bought tons of accessories here including shoes and necklace for the big day..I have been using the white room since I was a junior in HS for prom and never had the severe problems that were previously mentioned.. The manger is great, the girls are great, and the service is great.... more

I would recommend the White Room to any bride to be. I traveled all around Nashville searching for the dress of my dreams and came back to my hometown of Lebanon to find the dress I loved. Joy Ann has been so wonderful to me and my bridesmaids. They have worked with me to find the best prices for all my bridesmaids. My wedding is in December and I ordered my dress in May. it was in within 2 weeks and it is wonderful. Nothing but good things to say abouth the White Room. I couldnt be happier. more

I started looking in January for my wedding dress in which my wedding was in April. I did not know that it took over 4 months to get a wedding dress in. I had been to several places in the Nashville area looking for the dress and just couldn't find anything I liked at all, or if I did find something I was told that there was not enough time to order and the dress be here in time for my wedding. I had heard about the White Room and decided to make an appointment on a Sunday to look around. The White Room was actually closed on Sundays at this time but when I told them my situation the lady (which now owns the store) was more than happy to come in and help me out. I had always heard that their prices where kind of high but was very shocked that they were actually better than anywhere else I had been in Nashville! They also had the best selection of dresses and I found many dresses that I absolutely loved! When I found ""the one"" I was told that I may have to put a rush on the dress but would for sure have it in time for my wedding. The dress actually come in before the week was over. I bought my bridesmaids dresses there and my mom also got her dress there. They actually were not able to get my mother's dress in in time but ordered fabric and had the dress actually made because my mom was so set on it. I was so comfortable and confident with them that I left all my stuff there until the day of my wedding to have it all steamed.The day of the wedding one of the employees were off on that Saturday and even offered with no charge to come help me and my bridesmaids get ready. The service there was great no matter who helped me and I always felt comfortable and relaxed every single time I was there. I refer any and everyone that I know to the White Room, in which they have always come back saying the same thing I have. I have since had a baby and if I am ever in the area, stop by and see them because they show such interest in me and my baby even 2 years after my wedding. Pros: Great selection,prices, and service. I absolutely love the White Room. Everyone was wonderful! My sales girl was very helpful and really knew her stuff. I even went back to her to help pick out the tuxes. I have to say my only regret so far is that I didn't get my bridesmaids dresses here as well because they have such a great selection. My gown was back just when they told me it would be and I almost didn't have to get alterations it fit so well. However, I decided to have the hem taken up and the seamstress had my gown back in less that two weeks. All around great experience. Would recommend this place to EVERYONE, because they truly have a something for everyone. Brides don't pass up this diamond in the ruff... :) Pros: One stop shop with great selection and staff. more
