Al was professional and thorough. He explained things well.

Worst

I got two estimates from pest control companies for what appeared to be a rat problem. Western's was about $100 less and they seemed to know more about how to abate the problem. ...

My technician always arrives as agreed and on time. Works around my schedule which is great. Used Orkin at one time, long ago, but bigger didn't mean better especially once they had you hooked. Western will always be my exterminator of choice. more

Thank you for the last several years of good service. Grace Lee is my mother and she has always had positive things to say about your service. I am her daughter and I do see a big problem with fleas in her yard. Both front and back. Especially the back. I know it would be hard to totally get rid of them since there are neighbors who won't clean up their yard and one who has roosters and chickens. Many rat's. If you can look into this flea problem right now it would be greatly appreciated. more

First and foremost, I love the office staff at Van Nuys- always so cheery, and friendly on the phone, ready to help, and go out of their way to really make you feel they're doing everything in their power to make sure you're taken care of. I also love our technician- professional, punctual, and he's always willing to do whatever it takes to please the customers. The only thing I would make a comment on is I'm not completely convinced of the strength of products they use. It seems like they only have a 1 or 2 kinds of treatment available, and we're having a lot of repeat visits, even after a spraying. If the staff / technicians were any less nicer, I probably would've taken my business somewhere else by now. more

The service we receive from Western Exterminator is always first rate and is due in no small part to our technician Gerson! He always calls a day or two before his visit to check and see if there are any problem areas or pests, and if there are, by the time he leaves, there aren't anymore. His knowledge on what to look for and how to best rid us of the problem, make us feel quite secure. We are delighted with the service Western Exterminator and Gerson provide! more

This was a non-scheduled visit because our house was suddenly surrounded by ants. The technician was on time, polite, hard working (it was 100 degrees and poor guy was working his butt off) and left with a smile after advising that we not water the areas he sprayed for a few days. Good thing he did, since our automatic sprinkler was set for later that evening. I remember my parents using Western when I was a little girl, and seeing logo of the man with the giant hammer in our garage. Now that I'm a home owner, it tickles me to see the same logo on the van that comes to visit every other month. Great branding. :-) more

while we have not been successful in locating and eliminating the "gopher" in our backyard....your representative has been EXCELLENT in his customer contact, his timeliness, his customer relations are outstanding and his follow up is meritorious. I am pleased with the service.... (I still have hopes we will be successful in our attempt to rid ourselves of this nast pesty gopher) more
