My wife and I are repeat customers to this Penn ave Wedding day Diamond store because the excellent service and value we received for the staff , Dane and Mackenzie.\r They listened to what we wanted and showed us a good selection of quality and price and helped us settle on one we are really happy with. They really delivered as promised. They also have a diamond trade up program where they will buy back your diamond for the amount of what was paid.\r My wifes uncle wanted to buy a engagement ring for his fiancée and asked my wife where she bought hers and she told him WDD and it turns out that they don’t Have a WDD in Huston Tx so we went to see Mackenzie at Penn ave WDD and selected a nice band and Diamond and facetimed with a Ipad to Huston Tx for the uncles approval and Mackenzie conducted the deal over the ipad and expedited the build and shipped the ring early to the timeline. Everyone was happy.\r more

I do not feel the need to post reviews often, but I felt the need to post one about this store. The biggest compliment I can give the store is that they do not push you to buy something that is out of your price range or tell you that something more expensive is better. They simply tell you to buy what you think looks and feels right. Dane helped me out and gave me his honest input, he was more than helpful no matter what question I threw at him. His patience and professionalism far exceeded my expectations. He showed me more wedding bands and diamonds than I ever thought I would look at, but was more than willing to spend as much time as I needed to make a decision. I would recommend this store and the staff to anyone, the experience far exceeded my expectations. more

My boyfriend Tony and I aren't really shoppers to begin with. Being a mother of four and starting a business pretty much rules our day to day life giving us little time to do anything alone together. Wedding ring shopping is just one of those things you don't really want to bring four young children with for so Tony and I had made it a kind of thing we'd do when we wanted some time to ourselves. \r At first it was a really exciting trying to find me a ring but it seemed more short lived than I had expected. It felt like every place we went had the same limited selection with a warranty that would expire if I didn't come in. With four children coming in every six months just seemed like a prescription for failure! Not only did the selection seem bleak and the warranty flawed but we both felt like every time we didn't make a decision within five minutes we were passed off to another salesperson pitching the same things with the same fake smile and fake sincerity that the previous salesman had. It became so routine Tony and I started making bets on how long it would take for another person to come up to us. \r One week after visiting a couple friends of ours and having a laugh with them about our plight they suggested going to Wedding Day Diamonds. They had told us of their experience and their life time warranty which enticed us to stop by the one in Bloomington on our way home that day. \r As we walked through the doors the entire staff was laughing and smiling. Which automatically brought my guard down. Who can be tense when walking into that kind of environment? We were greeted warmly by everyone then asked if we wanted drinks and for our coats before even addressing the elephant in the room. I was taken back by the huge selection Wedding Day had to offer and I guess it showed on my face when Mackenzie walked up to me and told me about Wedding Days selection of 2000 rings! \r Mackenzie spent well over an hour with us pouring over the designers and giving us helpful tips on which rings would be good for me and which ones she wouldn't suggest because of our lifestyle. She even gave us an impromptu diamond buying course so that we knew exactly what to look for when buying diamonds and let us choose which diamonds we wanted brought out to look at! Before we knew it we had chosen a diamond we loved like experts and had fallen in love with Wedding Day at the same time. \r Tony will definitely be going back there for my engagement ring. And as far as I'm concerned any other jewelry we need or want from now on. more

Mackenzie at Wedding Day Diamonds in Bloomington is an absolute expert when it comes to helping a couple pick out their perfect engagement ring! We went in not really knowing what we wanted and she helped us from the very start. She sat us down and walked us through the key attributes to think about in a ring. She made us feel very comfortable and confident in knowing what we were purchasing. She spent as much time as we wanted as we kept looking at other rings, plus she always was there to answer our questions. I went into Wedding Day not knowing much about diamonds or engagement rings. As soon as I walked in the door Mackenzie was there to help, I think she could tell I was lost. I showed her some pictures of the rings i think my fiance would like and we picked out a few different styles. She sat down with me and pointed out details that I would have never seen myself for each ring. She did not try to push me into a sale or just show me the most expensive rings. I could tell she genuinely cared that I picked out the perfect ring and diamond for my soon to be wife. Even though my wedding isn't for another year, Mackenzie Lindback did a wonderful job at meeting my needs and desires when I came into Wedding Day Diamonds to find my perfect ring.\r \r I have a large family, and budget is important (so I can afford to feed them all at the reception!); Mackenzie let me know about Wedding Day's broad selection, and assured me that we could find a ring AND diamond to meet my monetary requirements. They have over 2,200 styles, and are even able to customize rings!\r \r Since I have some time to think about it, I will be dreaming of new designs for my perfect ring--to go along with my perfect spouse--and when the time comes, I will be headed back to Wedding Day Diamonds to see Mackenzie! more

I've been working with Mackenzie for a number of months now. When my girlfriend and I came in together Mackenzie helped her find a mounting she fell in love with but was way out of my budget. I didn't want to tell my girlfriend this so I went along with it and after we had left the store I got in contact with Mackenzie to see what she could do to help me. She came up with several ideas to make what my girlfriend wants happen without ever making me feel like I couldn't get exactly what she liked. Mackenzie told me that with their lifetime upgrade policy I will be able to order the ring she likes and upgrade the diamonds as I go so that I can make her dream ring without busting my bank account along the way. My girlfriend and I have gone in to the Bloomington WDD a number of times over the past few months. Each time my girlfriend seemed to like something just a little different. Working with Dane, he was always willing to make a suggestion. It was amazing how we would describe something and he would find exactly what we were looking for. He really knows his stuff! \r \r Dane did a phenomenal job of making sure every ring she liked was noted in ""The Wish List"", which made it easier for me when making the final decision. He was incredibly patient with us as we took a little longer to decide on The One than most couples likely take. When it came time to selecting the perfect stone, Dane went out of his way to get it to the store so that I could take a look at it. \r \r By the time I made the big purchase, the rest of the team knew who I was, but that did not stop them from ever welcoming to the store again. You will be treated as a valued customer. On a final note, I especially liked that I was given a quick course on what I was buying (Color, Clarity, Etc.). They really know what they are talking about which you will see when you walk in the door. \r \r This along with so many other reasons are why I will never go anywhere else. more

Great selection of rings and diamonds and very helpful staff, Especially Ms. Mackenzie Lindback!\r \r I was helped for more than 3 hours to find the perfect ring and diamond for my fiance, and was taught so many great things about the whole process as a whole. My boyfriend and I have a long distance relationship which has made looking for engagement rings quite the challenge. Since we can't be together but once every couple weeks it has taken quite a few trips, several stores and countless salesman pushing us to buy what seemed like the same selection every place we went. It felt like we'd never find that something that made us both feel like IT was the one... Just recently my boyfriend and I were able to get together again and make a trip out to the Mall of America to see if we could find anything out there. I was disappointed to find that yet again, there was little difference from store to store. Discouraged, we thought we'd punch 'jewelry store' in the GPS and take one last chance before we went home and up popped Wedding Day Diamonds. \r As soon as we walked through their door we were blown away by the selection they had on hand for us to look at! We worked with Mackenzie who was so patient and understanding of all we had already gone through. She went through the whole store designer by designer showing me everything I had described I had wanted. Not only did she express her empathy for our frustration she didn't once make it ever feel like she was annoyed or bothered by any of our questions and even brought up why some styles would be better for me than others. We never felt like we were being pushed into a ring or talked down to. Instead she made sure we knew everything about each ring we liked and even taught us about the differences in diamonds. Mackenzie at the Bloomington Wedding Day Diamond’s location helped me find the perfect wedding ring! Having to replace my original ring was a very emotional process – one that took me a long time. Mackenzie learned quickly what my style was and actually picked out the ring and band I fell in love with. Finding the right ring was a long process for me because of the emotional value my old ring held. I came to the store several times months apart and Mackenzie recognized me each time, greeting me my name. She remembered the rings we were looking at and got them out right away. My girlfriend and I were engagement ring shopping and had been to multiple jewelery stores to scope out all options. However, when we were looking at the selection at Wedding Day Diamonds we both knew it was the place. Mackenzie was great and so energetic and made selecting a band and diamond. Mackenzie showed us multiple bands, diamonds and educated us on the essentials when diamond/engagement ring shopping. It was so great to feel comfortable with a sales person and not feel that they are just trying to make a sale. I never once felt pressured on any ring option and neither did my girlfriend. Mackenzie was so great that she actually found the perfect diamond for the wedding band we choose and called us back within an hour to show us. When we returned to view the diamond Mackenzie has found for us, I glanced over at my girlfriend's face and I had never seen her smile so big and beautifully. The diamond was absolutely beautiful, and best of all, the diamond + band were under budget. I went into Wedding Day Diamonds with the idea of buying a setting to insert a pearl into as the center stone, because I am a little out of the box. Mackenzie Lindback saved me from making this mistake! (I didn't know that a pearl would get ruined if you wore it every day-- and I know it sounds like someone convincing me to get a diamond instead to make some money, but Mackenzie was so genuinely concerned and it was obvious that she just wanted to help me in the most earnest way possible) \r \r Mackenzie was so knowledgeable and passionate about the rings and stones that she gained my trust immediately. I told her vaguely about the style of rings that I like, and of course it was clear that I was not the most traditional girl, and she pulled my two favorite rings of my search as her first two choices. She also was so helpful with customizing a ring to make it special to me, such as using alternative stones to the classic clear diamond. Without me telling her, she picked up that I was very into organic things and ordered some NATURALLY lightly colored stones for me to come back and look at as an alternative to the pearl idea. (They also have plenty beautiful traditional diamonds ladies, it's just not my style)\r \r Mackenzie Lindback gave me the best experience I could have possibly asked for. It was like she instantly spoke my language and understood me. It was an absolute pleasure to work with her, as she is so obviously passionate with the intention of making this experience uniquely special for you. After a suprise visit to Wedding Day Diamonds with my boyfriend, it seemed nothing would calm my nerves enough to seriously pick out a ring.
