Wedding Day Diamonds

My fiance and I went to Wedding Day yesterday to purchase our wedding bands. He had purchased my engagement ring there, so it only made sense to go there for band options. Mackenzie helped us and she was great. We were in and out of there in 15 minutes. She knew exactly what we were looking for and was able to quickly pull options for us to look at. I found a great band that matched my engagement ring & my fiance found the simple band he was looking for. I also saw some gorgeous earrings and necklaces while we were in there. I would recommend Wedding Day Diamonds to anyone in the market for fine jewelry! more

I recently purchased an engagement ring from Wedding Day. As most guys are, I was nervous as to the big life change but more so to the fact that I knew nothing about rings or diamonds. While doing last minute Christmas shopping my girlfriend and I stopped at Wedding Day Diamonds in Bloomington to simply get some ideas as to what styles she liked and disliked and had no intention at first of buying from them. My girlfriend is a former jeweler and was very picky but Mackenzie Lindback was so helpful and took a great deal of time showing many different styles and ultimately came up with some choices my girlfriend and I loved. My girlfriend knew the things to look for when buying diamonds but I was clueless and Mackenzie took time to sit down with us and educate me on the different things to look for when choosing a diamond such as cut, clarity, color, and different imperfections, as well as what to watch out for at other retailers. When we left I felt confident knowing what to look for in a diamond. I shopped around at 5 other stores and was so glad I stopped at wedding day and talked to Mackenzie first. Ultimately the lack of styles I desired at other stores, pushy staff, and the fact that some of them tried to sell me diamonds with flaws and inclusions that I had to find without them telling me turned me back to wedding day. I had already chosen a style and a diamond I liked from there and they had the information still on file. Mackenzie rushed the order through for me and I had a ring specially made just for my special girlfriend and had the diamond set very quickly. I picked the ring up on Tuesday and I plan to propose this weekend. I am so pleased with working with Wedding Day. I would personally recommend going to the Bloomington store and asking for Mackenzie Lindback by name as she was very knowledgeable, courteous, and had a wonderful cheery, positive attitude which made this nervous guy feel very comfortable and confident in my purchase and taking this next step in my life. more

I recently went to WDD to hopefully find someone and some place to assist me in my search for the ring my girlfriend would truly love.\r \r Sadly I was not quite prepared for the amount of information and options available. The first thing I'd like to get out of the way is that it can be very expensive. Most things in life are expensive if they're worth anything of real value. At WDD the value matches the price. The hope and idea is that you're buying something that will last a lifetime and that is the goal of WDD.\r \r Their customer service is top notch and easy going as opposed to lazy and high pressure at other places. I never felt like I had to shop there or that it was the only place I could find what I was looking for. I ultimately brought my girlfriend in with me to help find something she truly loved and she ended up getting a custom made ring. I have not proposed yet, but I plan to in the coming months and I cannot wait to see her face when she finally sees the ring she's most likely forgotten about.\r \r Mackenzie Lindback was the one that made everything so much easier and I doubt I could have pulled off the charade without her assistance. WDD and Mackenzie were so sensitive to some original time frames that in the end didn't work out, but they went the extra mile to make sure everything was as close to our vision as possible.\r \r Mackenzie was not the only staff that assisted and everyone that did matched her skills and knowledge. You always feel like you can ask anything and you can talk freely to whoever is with you to help make an informed decision.\r \r For anyone looking for custom options, great customer service, and incredible amounts of knowledge about diamonds and rings I highly suggest at least making a stop at WDD and especially this store in particular. more

I want to THANK Mackenzie Lindback whom helped my mother, sister, and I in my engagement ring search. I had looked with my boyfriend at several different stores and we both gave up on the process. We finally decided that it was time to start the search again so I asked my sister and mom to come and help me look. We went to Wedding Day and the search was over.... My now fiance, Emma, and I were extremely pleased with our experience at Wedding Day Diamonds. She had looked at several jewelers for settings, but she found the one she loved at Wedding Day, along with the 2 runners up.\r \r Dane was extremely helpful in helping me pick out the perfect diamond to go with the setting, which Wedding Day had recorded in a wish list when my fiance had previously visited. I personally know a jeweler, in another state, who told me that the price I received was very competitive... not to mention the no-strings-attached warranty! more

After visiting all the mall jewelry stores along with the other stores outside the malls, it was clear the Wedding Day was our choice. Dane and the rest of the staff provideed the best experience by far we had while looking for engagement rings. Within five minutes or so I knew that Wedding Day stood ahead of other jewelers that I had visited at the mall. Brent Clark did a great job of assisting me, giving me a very informative presentation via ipad on pretty much every aspect of buying my fiancee's diamond and ring. After visiting most of the jewelry stores at the Mall of America, I left feeling under-informed and like I hadn't really seen that large of a selection, whereas Wedding Day's selection seemed a lot better. Brent was very easy to get along with and I felt comfortable, informed, and un-pressured with his sales style, which is really important to me. I ended up buying a loose diamond and proposing by giving it to my girlfriend in her Christmas stocking. We went in on NYE to pick out her band and Brent helped us again, turning out to be another great experience. Dane and everyone else at the store were also very helpful, and they are good at making you feel like a valued customer. One more thing they offered right off the bat that no other store did was to have me view numerous diamonds under a microscope, which in and of itself was both helpful and interesting to someone like myself who is fact oriented. Overall I am very satisfied with my experience and would recommend Brent and Wedding Day Diamonds to anyone looking for a great, personal, and informative experience. more

I purchased my engagement ring a two months ago with the help from Dane. My fiancee and I stopped in to just look and we were impressed with their selection. We stopped by again and she picked out a setting, but it was up to me for the stone. Dane was really helpful in showing the various diamonds that they had in store. I was looking online at first, but actually looking at the stones makes a difference. I ended up picking up a ""more flawed"" stone, but it was larger and clear. The quality is fantastic and she always gets comments on her ring. After purchase, the turnaround was pretty quick, < 3 weeks. Their ""no fine print"" warranty is absolutely amazing. Maintenance is included and I was told that it wasn't necessary to stop in every 6 months. We haven't stopped in yet, so I can't fully comment. Wedding Day at Bloomington has a wonderful selection, competitive pricing, and wonderful service. I highly recommend this store at this particular location. more

Wedding Day Diamonds is the BEST jewelry store I have ever done business with. From buying beautiful jewelry to getting jewelry remounted, sized, to selling gold and silver they are second to none! Their selection and quality of rings are the best I have seen anywhere. Marie, Richard and Dane are very knowledgeable, patient and helpful. Shauna, the manager, is always there to make sure you are totally satisfied. It is so important to TRUST the sales consultants when making such an important purchase. I have to say... I have bought jewelry from stores and dealers all over the world. And, Wedding Day in Bloomington, MN was, by far and above, the BEST jewelry store I have EVER had the pleasure of doing business with. I came all the way from Massachusetts to MN to help my daughter Jessica, and her soon to be husband Nate pick out their rings. Before I arrived, all I kept hearing was how great Shauna Kleffman was and how helpful she had been while they considered their options for rings. And, I have to say they were right. Shauna was truly AMAZING and a pleasure to do business with. She was very patient, courteous, and extremely informative. She was a very low pressure sales person that genuinely cared about the soon to be bride and groom, and made sure they were sure about their choices before writing up the sale. Never in all my decades of buying jewelry have I seen someone so well suited for their job selling it, and so good at it too! Wedding Day Diamonds went well above and BEYOND my experience with any other jewelry/engagement stores. From the moment I stepped in the door, W.D.D. was more comfortable than any of the other stores I'd visited. The staff (I worked with Dane) gave me his undivided attention. And even though I told him we were still there just looking, I recieved BETTER service and attention from him than the other stores. more

I took in some of my old gold and silver jewelry. All metal was weighed and classified in my presence and I was paid the price per gram that gold was bringing that day. If gold goes up in the next 30 days, they agreed in writing to pay the difference. I worked with Shauna and Marie and both were professional, friendly, and very nice to work with. They cut me a check for more than I expected with absolutely no pressure to buy. This is a very handy location with close in, convenient parking. I don't see how you could do any better. So glad I found them! more

When shopping for an engagement ring we visited a lot of jewelers, including another WDD location and a few smaller jewelers. We knew what we were looking for (for the most part), but couldn?t find it. We decided to stop at the Bloomington WDD on a whim and worked with Dane. Dane was patient and extremely helpful, providing the information we needed and answering all of my many questions. He was quick to show alternatives that would meet our high expectations, and help with pros/cons of options we were considering. We made our purchase the same day and Dane was really attentive to making sure the ring was set as quickly as possible. I purchased an engement ring from Shauna when she was at the Maple Grove store. When I first stopped in, I came in with the intention of shopping every jeweler in the cities. I think I only went to four before I decided to go back to Shauna. I walked in she remembered exactly who I was and what I had looked at. They created a custom ring that looked amazing in less time than they had promised! My wife and I have since purchased all of our bands from her and will continue to follow her. ...We had a great experience working with everyone at Wedding Day!
