Fast and friendly service 5/26/2011

"I" purchased my Benz (let me stress"I" not hubby). I don't like dealing with sales people I think they talk to much $#!* but I did love chatting with the Fin, Mgr. Wayne Molter, what a genuine funny man, need more of them in this world. I purchased that car in under 2 hours WOW!! No small prints, no hidden agendas, no lies... plain down right to the blue book. So if you are in the market for a new or used Benz come visit Walter's Mercedes Benz!!! whooa-Whoo more

Real People, not just salesmen 5/24/2011

I guess it's a hit or miss, looking at the other reviews. I had an extremely good experience today with the service department, and I can't say that I have ever had a good experience at a dealership (well, except for Saturn). My SL500 was having issues with electric consumers being offline, and the smart key not being very smart. I thought I would probably have to replace my rear battery, possibly get the alternator or other electrical systems fixed and/or possibly a new key. The extremely friendly staff quickly saw that it was just the key battery that needed replacing. (I did test that, but I guess it needs to have an absolutely full charge to work. And it turns out my electric consumers being offline is a normal problem when you don't drive often.) So they just charged me $7 for the battery and I was out very quickly. I wasn't there long but felt like they weren't going to rip me off. With everything else I thought I was going to have to pay for, they could've easily done so. I will definitely be going back. more

Gerald Corona my service advisor was exceptionally good. Unfortunately I know owning a Mercedes service repair is very expensive. During these economic hardships my leaning is toward selling it. There should be more of a discounts given for repair service or optional payment plan. more

Extremely pleased with everything 1/20/2011

I was extremely pleased with everything about our sales agent, Kevin Bolten. He was very knowledgeable, answered every question we had, took his time with us, he didn't pressure us in any way, he was very polite and understanding. I can't say enough about this great experience. Usually I never go to a dealership because of past experiences, this time was completley different. My experience with Kevin has changed my thoughts about dealerships. I loved the professionalism shown at Walter's, and it seems the main objective there is make sure the customer is happy, that's what customers like to hear. If I am ever lucky enough to purchase another Mercedes, I will look Kevin up!! more

Outstanding 1/13/2011

Two days ago I purchased a 2003 SL 55 AMD from Walter's Mercedes Benz. Bob Murray was my sales representative.Bob was outstanding in helping me understand all of the features of this complicated car. He walked me through the performance capabilities and electronics. Bob was attentive throughout the negotiation process, helping me with my trade in and the purchase of the SL. The short of it is that I am very satisfied with Bob Murray's excellent assistance in purchasing this vehicle. I previously purchased a 2004 E500 and have found Walter's auto group to be an excellent sales and service center. more

I just wanted to let you know about the superior customer service we received from Sarina Sena. We had come to Walter's for a "check engine" light and she made an otherwise bad situation into a good one. She explained everything in detail and was more than willing to answer our questions. Sarina was very helpful and nice. I will definitely come back to Walter's for service because of how well she treated us.I also want to thank Rob Deck for our good will repair. Though the problem did not have anything to do with Walter's, you all helped us anyway. I will continue telling my friends and family about how great Walter's Mercedes Benz is. more

He went over and above any other service advisor I have ever had dealings with in taking time to explain and discuss the services that were required for my car. Mario exemplified a "service excellence" attitude that seems to be quite rare these days, he made my visit to Walter's a very pleasant experience. This was my first service experience with Walter's and based on the way Mario took care of me and my vehicle, I will definitely be back. more

Courteous and helpful 12/10/2010

I live in Capistrano Beach, CA, and I am not a regular customer of Walter's. I had an emergency and did not have a scheduled appointment, but Sarina Sena greeted me immediately and began to solve my problem. Everyone that I had contact with was courteous and helpful.
