Wake Appliance Repair

I have a home warranty that assigned me to Wake Appliance. Unfortunately I had to reschedule my two appointments because of unexpectedly being ill. When I called to reschedule nobody returned my call so I called back. Meg answered and was incredibly rude to me. She accused me of canceling my appointment three times which is incorrect and told me they had no plans of calling me back. I did give advance notice regarding my cancellation and assumed that the technician would appreciate not coming to my home since I had a contagious illness. None the less the unprofessional staff and rudeness of Meg is unacceptable. She told me she hoped I did use someone else and told me I could leave a message for the owners but they would not call me back. How unprofessional. If this is how the business is run, I would never want them in my home anyhow. I guess this was a blessing in disguise. more

My refrigerator stopped working while I had company from out of town and I was scared I'd have my guest waiting for a repairman instead of doing something fun! I called around 12 noon and he said he'd be at my home between 3-5 that day. He seemed to diagnose the problem over the phone, asked me for the make and model number, and showed up at 3:15 with the part that was needed. He was in and out within a half hour. Everything is working great and the price was very reasonable. One thing that impressed me is that the owner came out and it seems as though it's just the one guy running the business. It's not like it's a repair guy who's getting a paycheck (who I feel would be more likely to pull a shady trick to make a quick buck or commission), it's the owner who wants repeat business and word of mouth referrals. I'd definitely recommend him and will used him in the future. more

I called on Monday to have a Washer Dryer combo unit fixed. The washer was burning up and smoking on spin cycle. They worked me in on Wednesday, double booking a slot between 11am-1pm. He showed up at about 11:45 and went right to work. The housing bracket had broken where the welding had failed, and the belt had burned up. He worked hard and efficiently, needing a few extra parts, he went to Lowes right down the road ( 10 mins. away, 10 mins. back, 10 mins. to get what he needed- Very reasonable) to get them and returned a half hour later. He fixed the bracket by securing it with screws, replaced the belt, tested it to make sure it was working properly, and explained everything he did to fix it. He did all this in the course of about an hour.\r \r Excellent Service, polite, reasonably priced, hard working, efficient, and did good work! I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for appliance repair. He says he does washers, dryers, dishwashers, microwaves, refrigerators, etc. Pros: Dependable, Reliable, Efficient use of time, Hard working, Reasonable Rates, Good Service Cons: Called two different days,got voicemail but they called back the following day. more
