I can't see how any animal lover could give Renee more than one star. If you've seen her place, I can't understand how you can give her more than one star. It was more than TEN years ago that I got a dog from this woman and I can't understand how she was allowed to be in business for so long-somebody certainly dropped the ball on this one. The dog I purchased was a Yorkie. It's ears were laying down flat but Renee told me they'd perk up after a certain amount of time (a different breeder later said that isn't true). The dog was sick and I was told by my vet she had a genetic defect. Renee took her back but for $100 less than what I paid. I was younger then and didn't really know my rights. If that happened today, I'd make sure I got all my money back plus the cost of the vet bill. Pros: absolutely none! Cons: everything! more

I totally agree that Puppy mills are cruel and definitely need to be stopped. In addition, I believe you need to definitely hear both sides of the story. I believe there is SO MUCH more to this!!! i adopted a dog from wags n wiggles seven and a half years ago. he is a purebred yorkshire terrier who was supposedly show quality with many ch's in his pedigree... i do not know if that is true or not as i never got the papers that i paid extra money for. she said the woman who owned the mom bought her on a payment plan and never paid her off, so she didnt paper the mom but said they were working ong etting her paid off and when she paid the dog off shed give them the papers and theyd paper the litter and i would get my papers. it got to a point where she just stopped answering the phone when id call depsite my many messages i had left. i bought the dog for breeding/showing, and wihtout papers i couldnt show and he only had one ball but renee said the other one will drop before he turned 2 years old but when i took him to the vet because he hurt himself they informed me that it wouldnt ever drop if it wasnt dropped by than. they said it put him at high risk for cancer so we opted to have him fixed. the surgery cost more money as they had to search for the other ball, in which they never found - he had a genetic fault that only caused him to develope one ball. so even if i got papers i couldnt have showed or bred him. i was going to take her to court but she finally got back to me and offered me another dog for inexpensive to cover my loss with chuckie. she sold me what was supposed to be another purebred yorkie, a female but my vet said she had poodle in her and she had bad knees and problems with her eyes. renee said her vet checked the dog over and said she wsa perfectly fine and that she basically gave me $2400 as i only paid 600 for her and shes work 3000. i cried when i saw the news and all the reports on her which let out the truth behind her lying ways. i love my dogs and wouldnt trade them for the world but i am sad that shes so shady and the animals suffered. dont buy from her shes dishonest and cruel. I purchased what is supposedly a 1/2 shih tzu, 1/2 toy poodle from Renee in October 2008. She sent me home with meds for roundworms and giardia. I love the dog, and am glad I have her, but feel that she was fraudulently sold to me. I was told the mom wasn't on site, but was shown a male toy poodle named Romeo, and told that this was the puppy's father. She said that she had a stud service, and that she felt good about this puppy because she was the original owner of the shih tzu mom, whom she had sold, and that my puppy was pick of the litter from Romeo's stud service. I haven't gone to the expense of having a DNA test done, but everyone who sees my puppy asks if she has some terrier in her. One of her ears stands up like a Yorkie's ear, and the other one lays down like a poodle. I'm pretty sure that my pup is the product of Renee's mom's puppy mill, and hope that my puppy's mom was rescued in the recent raids and will be given a good home. I'm heartsick that my puppy most likely came from such horrible surroundings and that her mom probably spent all of her life neglected in a cage. I am a vet tech, I went with a friend to look at a puppy. The woman that showed us the dog was Marjorie Sundberg, I know this because she has been all over the news. The home smelled like a kennel as soon as you got to the front door. She would only show us one dog when clearly they had many more. The dog was totally lethargic, very timid and coward everytime Marjorie came near it. His head was very warm as well (probably had a temperature). The poor little chihuahua had fleas, she claimed to bathe all the dogs every saturday. I find that hard to believe! After about 10 minutes the woman told us that the dog didn't like us so she couldn't sell him to us. DO NOT BUY AN ANIMAL FROM THESE PEOPLE! If you do, you will be contributing to more animal abuse and more puppy milling! Cons: Everything about this place is a con more

First of all, I read in a recent post not to buy cheap dogs from breeders as they might be puppy mills. Three years ago I bought two boston terriers from wags and wiggles (Renee) costing me $2200.00. They appeared in good health except for typical breed problems (luxating patella) and a case of giardia. I am shocked to find out that she is involved in this ring of puppy mills. We called her after the news broke and she swore she didnt know the other people involved now to find out they are her family, not mention that her own mother had that many dogs! We were also told that the father of our male was not on site and now I believe that I am sure he was up in Mt Vernon. It breaks my heart to see these dogs alone and scared in the shelter. We have donated and I encourage all of you who can to do so many of these dogs are in need of immediate vet attention. We are also doing everything we can to adopt our males brother once he is avaialable, not that we think having three dogs is easy but at least we know he will be loved very much and its the least we can do. I keep hoping that she didnt have anything to do with this because it is so horrible but all the evidence so far points right at her. I honestly am just shocked. Pros: are there really any? To the people who are defending Renee and her family, you may not be a victim of hers so maybe you see her differently than I do. I purchased a chihuahua (Gracie) from Marjorie and Renee 8 years ago. My dog ended up having the worst patella problems at 6 months that the surgeon had ever seen. She had to undergo two separate surgeries to repair her knees at 7 and 9 months, casted clear to her hips plus the physical therapy after. I found out later that other breeders told me they had warned Renee not to breed my dog's mother because of her patella problems, but Renee ignored it so I paid, to the tune of $3,500 and thank goodness I had it to spend! Both vets I consulted said she would be lame by the time she was 1 if she didn't get the proper medical care. Renee's suggestion when I called her was to say I could bring my dog back and she would give me a new puppy! Does this sound like someone who cares about her dogs? If we had brought her back, I'm sure Gracie would be dead. If they didn't want to feed these dogs, imagine their attitude toward paying a surgeon. I thought I did all the right things when I was looking for a dog but the papers describe it accurately - her place ""looks"" like a nice country home and I was duped. I've never recommended her again and now my vet is saying that Gracie may need a hip replacement. I hate having to put her through another surgery. It would be justice if Renee ends up in jail for the pain she has brought to others. Pros: Absolutely none Cons: She's a regular con herself more

I just love the post by(ARFW) you don't know her but you will give her a five star.Yah right your a friend don't tell me differently.People that have been posting are not enemies they are people that she herself (renee)has screwed over.I new her for years until i saw the light and who she was. And myself had dogs with genetic defects from her and 1 broker dog that came from paula arbuckle that renee herself sold to me.So i don't want to here poor renee.No it is Poor Clients that had to suffer with her ignorant and poor breeding ethics.She is the one that didn't have her dogs tested to ensure proper and right breeding.She also didn't breed to proper confirmation of the breeds she did.Example a chihuahua shouldn't be as big as a boston terrier i saw that personally.A poodle isn't suppose to be short and longated they are to be square i also saw that.You people that stick up for her maybe you need to be investigated for maybe your just 1 of many that is in on her mill.No way can a good breeder do 9 to 12 different breeds and mixes and be good.Any good breeder does 1 or 2 max not what she did.And if you are licensed for 25 dogs it is impossible to sell and have that many breeds without partners.So i encourage anyone that has had bad experience with her to tell your story on here for people to be aware of.And there was 1 post of a lady that had a shitzapoo which was supposed to be sired by a male poodle romeo I have his dna if you want to test your baby.I was also lied to about this dog. 2 were suppose to be by him and 1 didn't have his name.then renee said oh he's grandpa not what akc says on 3 generations.So needless to say i got rid of whole line from her. Why 2 had genetic defects and 2 with false papers and 1 broker dog.With me wanting to show and attending mass shows do you think i really could stand behind her line (Hell no).So people beware anymore don't buy any pup without seeing mom and dad.That is a good breeder they usually have both.Finally truth comes out. I just wanted to make people aware that before the judge they should get both sides of the story. There is SO MUCH more to all of this!!! Renee can't really defend heself at this point because it's in the best intrest for her up coming case. I just wanted to make it VERY clear that the house in Gold Bar may have been owned by a family member of Renee's but that house was rented out to a couple. These renters had said they only had 5 Dogs residing at the property. What was going on Renee would NEVER CONDONE!!! I believe the truth will come out in all of this. It's so irratating when these people just assume things!!!! more

Renee Roske, Mary Ann Holleman and Majorie Sundberg ARE puppy mill breeders. Please do not associate youself with these people, it has been all over the news about the big 600 dog rescue from this puppy mill. I just want to say as being a reputable and responsible breeder of Papillons, do not lower your standards to buying a cheap dog from a pet store or back yard breeder do you research and spend the good money for a puppy that is healthy and will be healthy for many years to come it will save you the money on vet bills and heartache in the future!!! She is a puppy mill and she will be held accountable this time. She will not escape justice like last time with her mother. As a matter of fact, I dont think her mother will escape justice either. I know for a fact that this women loves her dogs!!!!!!! Because she has been there for me and my best friend Angel for 10 years! In 10 years I dont think that is possible to make a mistake about her love for my animals and her own! The fact that people are saying bad stuff and not even getting there facts straight, makes me sick to my stomach. I have breed my dog with one of Renee's for 10 years she even delivered my first litter because I was to nervous. And I too had 2 of my puppies get sick from this parasite out of my second litter and my house is not dirty and they had never even been up to Wags and Wiggles. It was from my Maltesse deciding that eating out of the cat box was a good idea!!! This is how some thing so traggic happens. Renee saved one of there lives. Without her i would have lost all 3 she sat up all night with them and fed them water through a dropper and feed the baby food to keep them strong!! She did not have to do this for me, there was no cash in it for her! And she never got angry when I would call all hours of the night because I was so worried, but she was always up nursing them back to health. I love the heart and care she puts into her dogs. And I think it is so sad that her best friends and children have been taken away from her because somebody made a bad choice. Those dogs that curl up at her feet ever night and follow her from room to room are being held until this is over, and I know that my dog would die inside if anyone ever took her awayfrom me. What is the point of taking someones house pets it obvious they couldnt take any puppy mill away from her house because there isnt one! I wish her the very best of luck and hope that her best friends get to come home soon. I wish her all the best of luck in this! I think that she knows alot of people and when you have been in the business for so long its easy to through out her name!! more

watch the news, keep your eyes on the internet because they say that this shall finally be the end for this horrible puppy mill. looks like the pet stores will have to search elsewhere for puppies. let this be a lesson to everyone not to support puppy mills! do not ever ever buy from pet stores and do some research before emptying your pocket book for a cuddly pooch. if you really care about animals than adopt an animal that really needs a home!
