Oh My God... I feel so sick and so betrayed right now, not to mention enraged! I guess we were young and ignorant when we searched for a puppy. We got an imperial shih tzu. As I was watching Komo 4 tonight I saw the big house that we went to when we pick up our Ming Lee ( puppy ). Renee was so nice and they had a nice little store front setup when we walked in... IT WAS ALL A LIE!!! I'm so so sick to my stomach that we gave these disgusting people money so they could continue their torture of innocent animals( I COULD SCREAM RIGHT NOW! ) Our dog , Ming Lee is a beautiful dog with an amazing personality, but that's absolutely no constellation to the way they ""created"" her.... out of PURE GREED! I hope you get the book thrown at you, everyone that knew and was involved... you sick, sad, disgusting people! more

Dead dogs were found on property, dogs were found covered in feces, overcrowding in pens .... just a terrible case of animal abuse, Charges are pending. all animals have been confiscated by animal control and are being treated. I never bought from these people (and no one else should have either, adopt from shelters, not from breeders), but I did live near them at one time. One day, when my dog ran away and I had to go looking for her, she ended up running to the property this horrid puppy mill is located on to try and socialise with the dogs that were being imprisoned there. Renee was not home at the time, so I got a first hand look at the decrepit conditions these dogs were living in. I saw at least twenty dogs living in a cage only about a cubic metre in size covered in mud and feces with a trough for them all to feed out of (like they were livestock, seriously). All the dogs looked emaciated and some had open sores and wounds. There was also another similar cage located about three metres away that told the same story. I found my dog near one of the cages and had the wiring not been set up keeping the dogs boxed in, they probably would have torn into her (meaning that these dogs have become antisocial from years of mistreatment). I found it just sickening to think that these people have a mansion sized house with a huge landscaped yard and fancy cars yet they keep these poor dogs in such hellish conditions. Plus the Roskes were incredibly secretive and introverted people too, and I probably would not have been allowed to see all the atrocities going on here had they been gone at the time and my dog led me to their house. I am completely happy that the cops busted this place and put an end to it's clearly illegal practices of animal abuse and cruelty. And to the same one or two people writing the five star reviews here on this site, you should feel ashamed too. Pros: Pros? Yeah right... Cons: Everything down to the last detail. more

Great news for all you one star people. Wags and Wiggles is all done. The sheriffs office raided (search warrant) the place yesterday at 1:30pm. Many Many Many cop cars and 7 county animal control vans. Apparently a related raid the day before at another address near Monroe. Jail time for sure. I was told to ""watch the newspaper"".. more

I am so, so saddened that people on this site have just crushed Renee and thrown her under the bus. I have bought 2 BEAUTIFUL Yorkies from Renee, BEAUTIFUL healthy dogs that the vets have said were extremely healthy. One dog was bought in 2002, he is the cutest little guy you could ever want, and I bought another in 2004, she is so very cute too. What do people think breeders are to do, sleep with all the dogs, keep them all in the same room, have no control over dogs while breeding? People should give breeding a try, then see how you would run your show! When you want a certain type of dog, you have to go to a breeder, and Renee is a great breeder, she has quality dogs, some of the best lines available. Please think of peoples feelings before you trash someone, they too have feelings and they too have jobs, just like you guys, this just happenes to be her job. I have not spoke to Renee since 2004, but I am sure she is the same nice person she was when I knew her before. GROW UP! more

It is just like we thought, this is a puppy mill business and these people must not be allowed to just move on and open up again some place else. The mother was closed down in Mount Vernon a year ago but then just moved down to Snohomish with her daughters and the abuse just kept on going. What do we have to do to ensure more animals will not suffer at the hands of these people??? The best way is to keep the public informed. Do not buy from a breeder that will not show you the parents and the living conditions of the animals. Better yet go to your local pound or rescue to find your forever friend. Thank you to everyone who has worked so hard to bring this closing of this horrible puppy mill right here in our own backyard. Pros: They have been caught.... i got a chihuahua from wags-n-wiggles about 6 mo ago... and im so glad i did ! her conformation and bite is perfect . she was very skittish at first when i got her home , im sure they dont have time to socialize every pup but she adjusted just fine. she is the sweatest lilttle girl, absolutly no health problems what so ever ... am having a hard time potty training , but most very small dogs are harder to train that way.... i was impressed by renae and her knowlage. i thought she was very honest with me. and yes i got medication as well for paisly , but that didnt mean she was sick.. as all puppies gets stressed when going to a new home its for < precaution > she is not a bad woman ,, shes been doing this for many many years and knows what she is doing... i was very pleased and planning on getting my next pup from her as well .... I read all these horrible things, but all I can say is we've got the smartest, best tempered, trick performing ""pocket beagle"" puppy we EVER could have dreamed of. We were told to give her medication in a zip lock bag that she did not even need, and we were OVERDOSING her for one day before she got to the vet...and she had ear infections (which are common amongst Beagles). We were shown her mother, who didn't even look like a beagle, and she was completely frantic as she was being handled...We've come to the conclusion that Lulu is part terrier, as she does not bark or howl and she looks like a terrier...But she was sold as a beagle. I bought a Yorkie-Poo from Renee about 6 years ago. When I went there there were several dogs barking outside, about 15 of them in what looked like a pen on the side of her house. The dogs looked dirty and some had agressive behavior but didn't know better. I looked at the Yorkie-Poo she had for sale for $500 and he seemed spunky and in good health. I asked to see the parents but Renee said they were not available but didn't give me a reason and changed the subject. That should have been a red flag. I fell in love with the puppy so I bought him. My new puppy Oliver was my little companion and loved him more that anything. After I took him home Oliver had bowel issues, cronic cough all his life, teary eyes and was always very anxious around other people and dogs. I'm sad to say Oliver passed away a few months ago from a liver issue. He suddenly was sick one day so I took him to the vet, they ran several tests and found his liver enzymes were elevated. They believe he had liver failure. I was devestated when he passed. I couldn't even imagine my life without him and I'm still coping the pain and loss. I believe the health issues were due to poor breeding and also his anxious behavior was a sign of a dog that was not well socialized before he was sold. After seeing the horrible story on the news about the county trying to shut down Renee's puppy mill I would not buy from her again. The odds of receiving a puppy without health issues are slim. I can't tell you how much I spent on vet bills with Oliver's health issues. Of course I would have paid anything to help him but he shouldn't have been sick in the first place. I'm just glad I was able to rescue him from that horrible place and give him a loving and caring home. Toe everyone: PLEASE do your research before you buy from Renee or any breeder. My first encounter with Renee's business was probably about 6 years ago. I went to purchase a Pomeranian and found a cute little Black and Tan girl for $500.00. Immediately that dog had kennel cough and gave my other Pom kennel cough also but I took the dogs to the vet and had them treated and did not think anything of it. Pros: Good variety of dogs. Nice Looking establishment Cons: Not an honest business person. Doesn't follow through with what she says she is going to do. Poor ethics more

Hi I have dealt with Renee in past I thought she was my friend for 5 years and started catching her in lies.i lost probaby about 9000.00 off her from the poodles i bought.Here is my story my first one from her was a teacup female she showed me father said she didn't have mom.I get akc papers send in think nothing of it for i didn't know the sires akc name so i thought they were right.later i decided i wanted a 1/2 sister to my girl and got papers later put them away.then i bought another girl that was suppose to be a miniature for that is what size i love and she ended up a toy.then i bought a teacup male from her for my 2 girls and when she said sires name i recognized one of mine having it.She said no both yours are by this sire so she looks and says oh i am so sorry i gave you the wrong papers these are the correct ones.so you are safe to buy him so stupid me believing her and her talking so sweet to me i did.I sent new akc papers out on first dog and when they came back i threw in my safe didn't check for i thought everything was right.Well I get another this time a standard that she claimed would be 15-18 inches tall so i could have nice large minis.well she was not groomed and i took to vet had major hair in ears that never got pulled and major ear infections.needless to say at 10 months this dog was 26 inches and still growing.Now for a good one she tells me about this beautiful creamy white mini female that she is selling for a show breeder but will only give out ckc for she shows.dummy me took her unclipped at 5 months brought home and clipped her a called her and told her she seems to be a mix and she says there is nothing else this lady does so impossible.Well when ckc papers came in it had someone elses name i called and this lady does 9 different breeds and they all go to renee to sell i was shocked.Now here is the kicker that first one the sire still was not on i called her.oh he's grandpa i call all his grandkids his.Well he wasn't.I got rid of line ! more

I bought a chiuahua or whatever and when i got him his paws were covered in fecies and he was agressive. As he got older he didnt even look like his breed so i totally got ripped off there. He liked to bite little kids and tryd taking him to the dog park and he tryd attacking all the other dogs. Either he didnt have enough handleing as a puppy or just something else... dont buy from these people. there discusting and dont care about dogs just the money. I adopted a 6 month old female cockapoo from Renee. The situation this dog came from was horrible. When I went to look at her she was in a kennel outside of the front of the house with 15 or so other dogs, the garage connected to the house had excessive barking from what sounded to be a large abundance of 20 or more dogs. When we walked in to the house she was showing a litter of chiuaha puppies, In the background she had Kube 93 blasting in the living room, I'm thinking she had it so loud to cover the noise of barking dogs. When my boyfriend went to use the restroom, there was a tiny puppy sitting alone in the bottom of the bathtub... I'm happy I adopted my dog, but not happy that my money went to her business. My dog being only six months old had a severe ear infection that had to be treated for two weeks. At the vet you wouldn't of believed the mess on the table, gauze covered in infection and black ear wax the smell was horrible. This was not her only problem, her teeth were covered in plaque and in bad condition, at six months this dog should not have been having to deal with this, She had severe separation anxiety I couldn't leave her alone with out her soiling right away. She also had obviously never been socialized she almost bit my father, and got aggressive towards anyone. If I could give a no star to this business I would. No animal deserves to be raised in a situation like this. I hope the authorities can do something about this situation soon. That way no more animals will need to suffer, and no more people adopting these dogs need to feel heartache of watching their pets suffer from health issues or social issues. more

About a year ago I bought a boston terrier from Renee. She always acted nice and seemed to know what she was talking about. I took my puppy, Lilly, to the vet the day after I got her and she had 2 worms and one intestinal parasite. These are common in all puppies, but extreme in Renee Roske's puppies. I can't believe she could live with herself with the amount of animals who have died because of her. I had a bad hunch the whole time I was de*ling with her and didn't fall for her fakeness. She acts so nice and acts like she knows a lot about the puppies when all of her dogs are really sick. She doesn't give papers and offers to give worm shots so people ""don't have to spend the money on them"" when really it's so she doesn't get caught for how sick the puppies really are. How could someone be allowed to have so many dogs when so many people have bad things to say about her? My puppy just turned one year old and she is still sufferring the causes of being under the care of Renee as a pup. SHE IS SUPER MEAN!! DON'T TRUST HER! The only reason I would ever buy another puppy from her is to save them. I'm shocked that someone like Renee could be in business. It's really saddening. more

I bought a Chihuahua from her and it died 4 days after I got it. It went into the vet 2 days after I got it and never came home. She had parvo virus that the vet said she should have been vaccinated from by the breeder but wasnt. I had HUGE vet bills plus the expense from the dog. Think Renee cared? Nope- she got her money. This used to be a better place, as many reveiwers have stated, however it is not anymore. The kennels are riddled with coccidia and /or giardia, which is why you are given 2 wks worth of medications-this is not normal breeder proceedure, nor is it a preventive dose. It is a full treament dose-ask your vet. The adult dogs drink water that is treated with anitbiotics because of this, also. That is why all of their teeth are brown. It is NOT because of the well water! Look at the place . She could afford a filter or bottled water if that was all it was. The dogs you see are only a small amount of what is there. Ask to see her basement and out buildings on the 5 acres where the others are. She has flat beds of dog food in her driveway sometimes. How many dogs does it take to eat thousands of lbs of food? You may be told all her dogs are quiet because she trains them to be-but her adults are debarked. It is not for me to judge why this kennel has become so bad-but it has. This breeder has many years experience and if you are lucky enough to get a good dog you wil be happy, but do you want to take the chance? Just because this WAS a good kennel does not mean it still is. Don't support it-maybe she will catch on. Maybe some money for good dogs is better than a lose of customers and a bad reputaion.
