I love this dealership! I got a great deal. Even though I came to the dealer 4 times for a particular car and deal, I ended up buying the car and the salesman was still just as sweet as the first time he helped me. He went above and beyond for me even when I was annoying (lol). I will always be a customer of VW and this dealership! KUDOS!!!!!!!!!!! more

I'm writing to thank you for the excellent service and personal attention I always receive at your dealership. Unfortunately, of late I have had some mechanical issues with my 2008 Beetle. Though car trouble is usually an inconvenience, Marin Tran has truly been a pleasure to work with. In all of our dealings Marin has exceeded my expectations in service. He has even gone so far as to offer to pick my car up himself if the tow company was unwilling to bring it to the shop. In addition, Marin is always friendly, professional, and accommodating. Because of his service and my experience at your dealership, I won't buy or service a car anywhere else. Please accept my most sincere appreciation. more

I love the new car 6/1/2010

I just wanted to thank you once again for your assistance yesterday. I had prepared myself to hear there was no way possible for a deal to work itself out and to be leaving your office shortly after my arrival. Needless to say, I was extremely impressed with how far you and your team went out of your way to help me get the TDI! Additionally, the process of signing paperwork and taking delivery of the new vehicle once we had agreed upon a deal was the fastest and friendliest I've ever encountered in buying a car. I love the new car (according to the trip computer, a trip across the Bay Bridge during stop and go rush hour traffic, and back a couple hours later averaged 31MPG) and am confident I got an excellent deal on both my purchase and trade-in. Amazing experience 6/1/2010

It all started with the phone calls advising me of my end of lease options. I didn't get that with a Nissan lease I had recently. I was walked through the steps on the phone one at a time and then invited in to test drive and take a looksy. This was my second purchase with this business and the first one was as stellar. I like the team atmosphere. It is not your typical dealership where all the sales people are smashed against the glass waiting to pounce on the next potential customer. I had an appt i walked in and was immediately greeted by someone who was helping another customer. His immediate response was welcome to VW of Oakland have you been helped. I met with Wendy and she is hands down one of the funniest most engaging sales people that I have ever met. There was never any pressure to buy. We test drove cars went over pricing options and i walked out with a new lease. I had my previous car leased through them and serviced through them and i will do the same this time. I have referred two friends and they both bought cars here. VW of Oakland rocks!!! more

Fine group of employees. 5/10/2010

They were all helpful, respectful, and when I left there I knew that my car is now ready to perform safely for me as I begin to do a little traveling for work. I was in the store waiting for the paperwork for servicing of my car to be finished and looking at the new volkswagens with absolutely no plan to purchase at this time. I felt honored that even though I explained this, I was still treated as a prosepctive buyer and not just brushed aside as a window shopper. I left there knowing that my next car will be a volkswagen and I will buy it at your store. You're to be congratulated for such a fine group of employees. Patsy S. more
