Vision Quest Sport & Fitness

My husband and I just signed up at the vision quest in Puyallup. I have family members that go to Auburn and they finally convinced us that this gym is different than the normal ""chain"" gyms in the area. We signed up with Jeff, the general manager and he was very personable and nice while showing us around. It was obvious that he loves his job and is passionate about the goals and results of the members. You could actually see that same passion in most of the employees as you stand around watching them. It is a really great and motivating environment and I cannot wait to get started with my first free workout this week! more

Just got done with spin class today and wow was that a great workout!! A month ago I was not able to keep up during class and now I feel like a pro! I am so excited to be getting back in shape and getting more active in everything I do! Extremely glad I found Vision Quest! more

Puyallup had their Biggest Loser Kickoff party last night and it was awesome! The energy was so high and there were a lot of new faces and family and friends there to support their loved ones! It was quite a sight to see! I am so honored to be a part of such a wonderful program! I am excited to continue this journey with my trainer and see how far I can go in the next few months!! more

You can just feel the wonderful environment as you step into this gym! It surrounds you and you immediately feel welcome and happy! I have found a second family here at Vision Quest and I appreciate them so much! From the other members I have met in the biggest loser to the trainers and front desk staff, everyone is wonderful and has made a positive impact on my life in some way! more

The biggest loser kick off is starting at the Auburn Vision Quest on June 6th!! I can't wait to start the competition! This is my 2nd biggest loser! I had such a great experience with the first one that I wanted to do one more to lose the last 20 pounds! The last few have been the hardest for me to lose, but with the help of my trainer and the biggest loser program I know I will be able to do it! Everyone is welcome to attend and I encourage everyone to come! more

There is such a great feeling walking into this facility. Every person of every shape and size and ability are welcomed with open arms and it is really awesome to watch people change their lives! Its not like some of the gyms where everyone is super fit and you feel stupid going because you think you are too big...that is ridiculous!! We ARE the people who should be at the gym the most! The staff here is friendly and they really take the time to get to know you and make you feel important. That was big for me. I was able to hold myself more accountable because of it and it has helped me along the way. I am proud to say that I have lost 104lbs so far and I am happier than I have ever been!! more

I workout at the Vision Quest in Puyallup and I love it there! The zumba classes are awesome and they even have tanning! I get all I need at this one stop! They also have great child watch attendants and hours so I can stop in, my kids can go play while I workout and tan and then we can go home. I look forward to going to the gym instead of it feeling like a chore. Thanks Vision Quest for the awesome customer service! more

I am loving all my three workouts that I got for joining Vision Quest! I have learned more about my body and fitness during these three workouts than I could have ever imagined!! My trainer has helped me gain an understanding of the whole process and I think it will help me stay on track and reach my goals where in the past I have fallen short at other clubs in the area. The staff is all very knowledgeable and friendly and I couldnt ask for anything more!! more

My family and I have been members of Vision Quest for over a year now and I have to say that we have never had better service at any other gym in our lives. We live in Auburn and therefore work out at the Auburn location which is SUPER clean and SUPER friendly! I have found the staff to be very knowledgeable and willing to help. My sister lives in Tacoma and works out at their location there. We like to get together once in a while at either Auburn or Tacoma and do some of the yoga or zumba classes together. It is really fun to be able to use all of the locations! more

I had a great first experience at the Vision Quest in Tacoma. The gym itself is a good size and looked to be clean and well kept. I was impressed with the staff and the professionalism they carried. The members all seemed to really love it there too. We took the kids to visit the child watch for a few minutes and they had fun with the other kids and the child care attendant. I would definitely recommend this gym to anyone in the area!! more

I just LOVE the energy of the Vision Quest in Auburn! The gym is family friendly, the staff is very welcoming and helpful, and they have everything you could ask for in a gym!! My job can be super stressful at times, but I know I can always count on the gym to make totally make my day better! Thank you to the Vision Quest staff for always brightening my day! more

If you are older, or have any physical limitations, I would not recommend this gym. I have no proof, but I doubt very much that their 'personal trainers' are certified. Education and certification in personal training is a necessity for the proper handling of people with physical limitations, so just beware. more

The most unprofessional place I have ever had an encounter with. Upon requesting a cancellation form to this gym, my friend I and were harassed by the staff where other staff, gum members and other individuals were gathered. We were first asked why it is we were cancelling (we were unhappy with crowds, noise and we are moving out of the area). Roughly 10 minuets of them hounding us about ""quitting"" they finally brought paper work where they continued to harass us about leaving (saying we were quitters, didn't like encouragement and so on). After hearing enough, my friend and I stuck to a few phrases such as ""this place sucks and so does auburn."" We were not treated with respect or profession. I would NOT recommend that anyone join the Vision Quest Auburn location due to lack of professionalism, courtesy and respect. more

Love working out here! I have the best trainer, Ali Crosbie who has guided me down my road to a healthy life-style! Also, I found vision quest to be the least expensive and the least intimidating. more

Just want to say a big THANKYOU to the child center staff! My kids have so much fun with you all. I don't feel at all guilty dropping them of 4-5 days a week because I know how well they are cared for. If it were not for you guys I wouldn't have had such a fab year of fitness! more

I am surprised by the recent reviews. I have been a member here for years now and never once seen much change. Staff has always been nice to me. \r \r I worked with a few trainers for my bad lower back and trust me I have never been one to ask for help but my doctor recommended it. \r \r Now that I am working out 4 days a week, my doctor has cleared me to do whatever it is that I want to do which is a relief. \r \r Its great to see the club shining from the freeway and knowing that I added years to my life by exercising. \r \r Keep up the good work Vision Quest \r \r more

I used to love Vision Quest, Sport and Fitness. My entire family was one of the first to sign up shortly after the opening of the Auburn location. I saw Vision Quest as the welcoming and accommodating local gym that had a certain element of dignity that national-sized gyms did not offer. We were members for years. My membership ended when I left for college. I came back to Vision Quest to tour the facilities. I discussed, and repeated how I understood the prospect of the new membership with the salesperson, M. Well, a month after my membership began, my understanding was completely different from what the employees saw my membership as. When I asked the front desk employee if we could pull over the employee that had signed me up, I received the capable response, "" I'll talk to him about it later"". OK. A month later, I get a phone call from their chiropractic department informing me that I had missed an appointment. An appointment that I had said no to making repeatedly. I called the main desk immediately after and told them if I was signed up for any other appointments, to remove me at once from their list. Customer Service: I felt pushed around, and effectively ignored. Unless you are writing a check to them, Vision Quest didn't seem to care. Knowledgeable: When I asked M, what kind of protein powder they carried, he said ""The good kind"". Information about their products or nutrition was completely lacking. Knowledgeable about services: Clearly inconsistent with what the main desk understands. Cleanliness: The gym feels dirty and dusty. Environment: Instead of being the type of gym that welcomes people of all types such as elite athletes, people searching to lose mass amounts of weight, and the salt of the earth, (as M had proudly boasted) I felt that they environment was a little ' bro'. As if the sales representatives were all high school grads that giggled at the fat kid. I say this because as I was signing the documents to enter a membership, personal trainers were talking over me to M about his nerdy Harry Potter glasses. Extremely unprofessional. I will not be returning to Vision Quest. more

I've never had a problem here that wasn't resolved quickly. The managers have been prompt in returning phone calls (not that I've made a lot, but the times I have I heard back from them within a day) and always friendly. It's a high traffic gym so I don't expect it to be SPOTLESS all the time but they definitely try which I appreciate. The gym costs 20 bucks a month, it's a great place for the money. more

this place has to be one of the worst places i've ever worked out at. i workout at the bothell location, The gym opens at 5:00am there never on time. I'm a early bird thats the best time for me is in the am. i often miss my workouts... 2nd the place is always cold. the tv's are NEVER on. i pay every month & they never hold up on there end.... sad that i'm moving on to gym thats warm AND open doors on time..... more

Vision Quest is absolutely amazing, their gyms are up to date and so clean. They really care about members and their results. I only pay $15/month, can't beat that!!! more
