Picking a plumber is never easy. There are so many businesses out there and sometimes looking for the best price isn't the smartest move. While discussing a plumbing issue someone recommended Vigilante plumbing. I checked out their site and was impressed. Yes! The girl who answered the phone said something along the line.It's a wonderful day, how can we make you smile?After a 3 minute phone call I was told a technician will stop by in about 2 hours. The technician showed up on time but I was not home (I had to pick up my daughter from school, small emergency). The lady from the office called and I thought I would have to reschedule but to my surprise the guys offered to wait until I made it home (20 minutes late). I paid a fee for the estimate. Both men (technician and assistant) explained every issue and the solution. They spent approx 1 hour with me answering every question (even the silly questions). The guys did not seem rushed, and I certainly did not feel pressured. The price was a little out of my range so I paid for the estimate and told the guys I would call if they were needed. After receiving a few more estimates I decided to go with Vigilante something about the two guys just felt right. I called the office and scheduled an appointment for the following day. The work was completed in the time frame given. While fixing the initial problem the assistant noticed a potential future issue after a brief discussion I agreed to let the guys repair it. I had to leave to pick my daughter up from school and by the time I came back the guys had the entire area CLEAN. They wore these blue booties the entire time so they did leave footprints or dirt. Both guys had cleaned my bathroom like a professional. I was completely shocked my tub, floor and walls were spotless. When I questioned the guys they said their job was to leave the area in the same condition from when they started, it should not have looked disturbed. The money paid was well worth it. Whenever someone mentions a plumbing problem I always recommend Vigilante. By the way the estimate fee was deducted from my balance due which was nice. The Vigilante technicians were two of the most professional, kind and patient workers I have ever dealt with. I hope this review helps. Most people complain on these sites but this company deserves a good review. Vigilante delivered on every promise they made. I am very happy with the service they provided. They met and exceeded every expectation I had. more

I did a full gut renovation of my entire house and this was the only bad experience I had with all the suppliers I worked with. These guys are the worst. Their work was terrible, messy, their installers were untrained or inexperienced or worse. The work had to be done over and over again, and what was projected to be a 2-3 day job took months to finally complete properly and took countless service calls. Avoid Vigilante Plumbing and Heating at all costs. more

Over the years my house has had a number of plumbing problems. So many that it's likely that all my pipes have been replaced at some point while I've been living here. My old plumbers, the Mario Brothers were excellent. However when I tried to call them a few months ago, they didn't answer. It's like they disappeared or something. Maybe they went out of business. Anyway, I gave Vigilante a call and despite the unusual name they actually did very good work and were reasonably priced. I'll use them again if I still can't get in touch with my regular guys. more

After reading various reviews of Vigilante I felt assured that they would be a good company to call to repair my LG air conditioning system. What a mistake. They arrived on 11/11/11 diagnosed the problem and were due back on 11/17/11 to make the repair. $1,185.00 was of course promptly debited from my checking account. As I write this it is 11/23/11 and after making 8 phone calls without the courtesy of a call back I cancelled my job with them. Their communication is non existent and when you do speak to them no one in the company seems to have an answer. I will write further to let you know how long it will take to get my money back. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!! more

We must have called 5 plumbing companies to get our water heater working again on a Saturday. Vigilante had the nicest, most helpful person answering the phone. Next thing we knew, Dale and Ben arrived at our home (Under 30 minutes). They were polite, nice, quick, professionally dressed and informative. No overcharging. No song and dance. No nonsense. it was an eye-opening experience to have a Four-Seasons-Hotel-like experience from a plumbing company. more

I am writing to praise the work of your emplotee Dale Barbieri. You should be proud to have such professionals in your employ. I had Saturday night boiler emergency on March 6. His response was quick, in the time fram he said it would be and he arranged a follow up work on a Sunday that also was done neately and efficientlym as he told us it would be. His demanor was pleasent and professional and I was highly satisfied with his service. Due to this experience, I will sureley consider Vigilaante first with my next plumbing/ heating needs. more

I had a great experience with this company. I had a water pipe burst in one of my buildings late at night. I called the 24 hour number and was quickly helped by this company. They helped me shut off the water to stop the damage and had a plumber at my building with in 20 minutes. A big thanks to Vigilante! more
