We bought the cutest little YorkieBichon. Our adorable new family member is affectionate, energetic but loves to snuggle. The entire staff was helpful and very considerate in helping us with our final selection. They very caring and professional people who obviously adore their puppies as well. Will definitely be a place to recommend to friends! more

nice place 5/20/2011

although i am only in my teens i wanted to write this, i bought my dog a 5 years ago at this place and i am absolutely in love with him, there are a few negativities... since i was 10 when i went here i wanted a new puppy as soon as i possibly could. so my father asked him to bring out a puppy, since this was by Christmas the owner or manager decided to say the following to me when he brought out the puppy, ""Merry Christmas sweetheart!"" which made me think that my parents had bought me the dog and practically made them buy him. when we did bring him home there was really no problems with him, a couple of weeks later he wasn't eating that much so we brought him to a vet, turned out he was hypoglycemic and wasn't having enough sugar so the vet just told us to put a little honey or maple syrup in his food, and he hasn't given us any trouble since! I would go back to this place no matter what! but, not around the holidays with a little kid by your side. more

Vanity Pups gave us our sweet angel 5/18/2011

I searched online and found Vanity Pups, Michael who is the owner really answered all of my questions. I was looking for the right puppy for my 7 yr old daughter. Lauren was also very nice at helping me. Finally we got there to see the little angel and my daughter and Baby who my daughter picked out the name bonded so well together. Michael came out with her and had us sit for a while to decide if we are okay with her. It was a really nice experience. She is a precious maltipoo girl. I would recommend Vanity pups. It's very friendly and a clean place. more

Found our newest family member 5/10/2011

Our family was going out to dinner and decided to pop into the Vanity Pups Boutique just to look around. We fell in love with all the adorable little puppies and decided that we should get our own little one. All the sales people were very knowledgeable and helpful. The store was impressively clean and the puppies were well looked after. We are very happy with our newest family member Leonardo. A white Shi tzu with patches of dark brown. He is happy and healthy and so are we! more

Vanity Pups Rocks! 5/8/2011

I purchased a papillon pup for my wife as a Mother's Day gift and I must say it was a great experience. I felt that Michael and Lauren were knowledgeable and professional inuring the purchase of my pup Bella. I felt comfortable and I did not feel as if I was being rushed or pressured to buy my pup. I must admit Bella was a little pricey but my wife and children are thrilled and happy so the purchase is priceless! Definitely recommend; also keep in mind I traveled there from Brooklyn and Brooklynites hate driving to Queens and I would gladly go back lol. more

I was very happy with my experience with buying a puppy at vanity pups. I spoke to Jose who provided me with not only in depth information, but also time and patience as well as pros and cons on what type of breed would be a good pet for a 2 family house apartment. The girl in the front desk, Lauren, was insightful and knowledgeable. I would recommend vanity pups to anyone looking for puppy. more

Cutest Puppies EVER!! 4/25/2011

My friend Agnes recommended Vanity Pups after she got her cute little Havanese. When I went to Vanity Pups, Lauren assisted me. I came to look around, but when she brought out this adorable Poodle (Cairo), I was sold! Cairo had me from the moment I saw him! Lauren was very helpful and sweet! FOUND OUR BABY 4/16/2011

We visited several places looking for an addition to our family. When we entered Vanity Pups, the place was very clean, the puppies were not in cages, they were in cribs which I found adorable. The staff was very professional in showing and explaining to us the process. Then we found bacon. We fell in love with him right away. They even showed us how to wash him. I would recommend Vanity Pups if you are looking. more

The nicest staff and cleanest pet shop I've ever been to...I went in and just knew I was going to purchase my puppy from there. I looked inside each crib and the puppies were so playful and happy I was so excited. The same day I fell in love with a cute Yorkie that was meant for me..Her name is Bella and she is great,,,,so happy, playful and healthy. I would recommend Vanity Pups to anyone that wants a puppy. more

AFTER GOING TO MANY BREEDERS AND PET SHOPS LOOKING FOR MY PERFECT PUPPY, I WALKED INTO VANITY PUPS AND KNEW THIS PLACE WAS SPECIAL!! I BOUGHT THE MOST ADORABLE PEKE-TZU (ZOE) AND AM IN LOVE WITH MY NEW BABY! THE PUPPIES ARE IN CRIBS LOOKING HEALTHY AND HAPPY ..AND SO CLEAN. vanity pups is A ok 3/7/2011

well i had no idea what i was doing getting a pup but mike at vanity pups made it quite simple and easy. he has very cute pups and i decided to get one for the love of my life for xmas. of course as mike predicted she loved the pup which was later named rocky. he did get a little sick with the kennel cough BUT we paid pretty much nothing because mike had promised if anything happened he would take care of it with his ""medical warranty"". all in all this is a great place to purchase a pup not to mention the prices are pretty good. thanks to mike and vanity pups me and my lady have a new addition to our family. thanks! more

Great Experience and the cutest puppies! 2/18/2011

Like many of the other people in queens, i went to a few different place before coming across Vanity Pups. When i finally came to the store, i was amazed at how clean, nice smelling and professional all the staff was. The girls at the front desk are extremely well informed and very helpful. Being that i've never owned a dog before, Michael went over all the steps to caring for my little Max and made me feel very comfortable with taking him home. I would highly recommend this great puppy shop to anyone looking for a puppy! more

Very Happy with my Pup... 2/17/2011

After driving to a few pet shops and leaving very unhappy, hubby, the children and I arrived at Vanity Pups. When we entered we were happy to see a very clean store. The pups looked clean and the store smelled fresh. It was 1/2 hr before closing but Jose ( I think that's his name) was more then happy to help. He kindly answered every question we had and even allowed the kids to play with the pups so we could really get a good feeling about them. I fell in love with a small white/cream Havanese pup he had someone bring out from the back. She was great with the kids and that was a plus. We entered, chose the newest member of our family and have no regrets at all. I do have to say that the pup was diagnosed with a Medial Luxating Patella but this is something that happens with smaller breeds. Ivy is still a keeper. more

I'm Glad i found my best friend 2/10/2011

I purchased my dog on Jan 7, 2011 i'm so glad i bumped into this store i had a very bad experience with another petshop in the area where i put a hold on a toy poodle and three days after she became very ill with kennel cough there i was 3 weeks later still waiting for that puppy to get better so that i can take her home unfortunately that never happened i google for pet stores and i found this one. I went ahead and made a phone call 10 minutes before closing Michael answered he was so nice and informative he went ahead and send me pictures of toy poodles which he told me once i chose one i could take her home in a week. Once i went into the store i found the store extremely clean and the girls in the front were very friendly. I am sooo glad i found vanity pups i ended up taking a beautiful black and white havanese little girl (sasha) she was 2 pounds and looked like a teddy bear i am so happy. I will totally recommend this store more

best place to buy a puppy 1/22/2011

Bought my first puppy here (puggle) and I am glad that I chose Vanity Pups Boutique. Spent the whole day driving up and down northern blvd. visiting other stores but always left feeling a bit uncertain. Before heading home, my mom and I decided to stop by Vanity Pups just in case and I am so glad that we did! As soon as you walk in, the atmosphere is welcoming and I left feeling so assured. Michael explained everything to me, starting from the breed of the puppy up to how to take care of her. The store still calls just to check up on my puppy and see how she's doing. All of the employees seem to genuinely care about the puppies and the customers as well. I left feeling relieved that my puppy would be taken care of even after I had left the boutique. more

Best Place Ever 1/12/2011

It took 23 years and we finally got a puppy!!! We were kind of looking. Meaning we were looking in the paper one day then we decided to go and look at some puppies at a breeder. But those puppies weren't the kind for us. Then one day my husband calls me and says he's at a puppy store he found in Bayside not far from his work. He sends me a picture of an adorable shipoo. He comes home and we can't decide what to do. Mind you he's been the opposition all along to a dog. He's afraid with his asthma and allergies. more

Premiere pet boutique 1/4/2011

We recently adopted a morkie from Vanity Pups and couldn't be happier. Michael and his staff went out of their way to make us comfortable, from explaining the adoption process and recommending a vet to staying open late to accommodate our schedule. The store is spotlessly clean, and the puppies seem playful, happy, and well-cared-for. The trip out to Bayside from western Queens is well worth it, as Vanity Pups stands far above any other pet store we visited. more
