Vanity pups had by far the cutest selection of puppies I've ever seen. I recently purchased a Shih Poo puppy and I've never been happier. My puppy is healthy and energetic and was well taken cared of. On top of everything the staff was kind, polite and willing to answer all your questions. I bought a beutiful parti black and white cocker spaniel, who we named BELLA. When I first made the deal I thought I had pay too much for her. Then, it was too late to cancel because it was my daughter's 15th birthday present. Well, I made a horrible judgement. BELLA turned out to be an extremely smart and healthy dog. She has changed our home. In addition, Vanity Pups is a clean and professional boutique. Our BELLA had to stay there for two weeks under their care, She was clean, well fed, and happy. In addition, in the long run you get your money back with the free vet care and free grooming. Love the place. more

BEWARE OF VANITY PUPS!!!!! I bought a cockapoo in Sept 2011 .. I was informed the puppy was in good health and had his 8-10 wk shots . NOT SO.... It turns out he has two parasites one which is GIARDIA a very contagious form of parasites . VANITY PUPS was aware of the outbreak as 3 other clients puppies that i know of also have the GIARDIA parasite that were purchased on JUNE 1011 , AUGUST 2011 AND MY PUP IN SEPT 2011....I was also told the puppies at VANITY PUPS are checked by a vet .. not so my puppy has one testicle , after imaging confirmed , so he now has a congenital disorder a day after i purchased him my vet informed me of this ,if he was checked by their vet he would have found the one testicle, i was also told he had his first round of shots NOT SO.I have contacted vanity pups a number of times with no response . I am contacting the BOARD OF HEALTH, ANIMAL CONTROL . PLEASE LOOK AT THE REVIEWS OF THE VET THEY WANT TO SEND YOU TO WHEN YOU BY A PUP, BAYSIDE ANIMAL CLINIC EVERY REVIEW IS BAD!!! PLEASE BEWARE more

We brought our adorable Morkie home with us about 1 month ago, and he has been a wonderful addition to our family. The staff at Vanity Pups were extremely pleasant, knowledgeable, and patient with us. On our first visit we spent almost 2 hours playing with different puppies in the store and no one rushed us. They also gave us some wonderful tips on training and taking care of our little one. more

We were not planning on walking out the door of Vanity Pups with anything more than a little information. The previous week, we had investigated other dog options (shelters, some shops on Northern Blvd) and this mission was to be nothing more than reconnaissance. As you can guess by my subtle foreshadowing, we left with a beautiful Maltese, with the perfect laid back personality that we were dreaming of. The staff is warm, relaxed and very well-informed, there is no pressure to buy. Prices are reasonable and they are generous with extras (one free grooming, subsidized vet visit, etc). Highly recommended! more

I purchased a Shihtzu from Vanity Pups Ive had him for about a month now and named him Trowa. Vanity Pups were very helpful and well informed if was to ever want another puppy they would first and foremost be my first option. more

I wanted a puppy for my 25th birthday. After searching the internet i came across vanity pups. i spoke to the owner Michael and told him what i was looking for. less than three weeks later i took home my baby Khloe, a beautiful girl yorkie. I would recommend vanity pups to anyone. p.s the staff was very nice and helpful. more

I bought my male Yorkie pup from them in March of 2010 when he was 9 weeks old. The sales experience in and of itself was great... they were very helpful and friendly. In April, when I went in to get his rabies vaccine, the vet pointed out that that his testicles had not yet dropped, and suggested that I contact Vanity Pups to see if he had been neutered before I got him. She mentioned that she didn't think that this was likely though, because there was no evidence of scarring on the dog. I went into VP to ask, and was told by the very friendly girl at the counter that they would contact the ""breeder"" directly and get back to me. A week later, I get a letter on a letter head from a vet in Missouri (where the ""breeder"" was located), saying that an 8 week old puppy (presumably mine) was neutered. This raised some questions: WHY would ANYONE neuter a puppy that young? Why didn't VP tell me that I was buying a dog that was already neutered? And how was it possible for him to have been neutered THE WEEK BEFORE I purchased him, and for there to be NO evidence of the procedure?? (Apparently the kind of procedure that they would have had to have performed because his testicles were not exposed would have been much more intrusive, as they would have had to go in through the abdomen). Since I had had a pleasant experience with VP so far, and I had no reason to not trust them, I took the letter from their vet to be true... A few weeks ago, I woke up and saw 2 small bulges on my dog's abdomen, and after a vet visit, it was confirmed that he was never neutered. In fact, he was sold to me with a genetic disorder that caused his testicles to not drop. As a result he was producing excess testosterone, which was causing his aggression and behavioral issues. And instead of VP informing me that he had not been neutered, they gave me a fraudulent letter stating that he had been. Because of this genetic defect, I have a dog that is extremely aggressive and territorial, and have the bite scars to prove it. Not only has he attacked me, but also my mother, sister, fiance, and stepdaughter. I have spent thousands of dollars trying to train him, to no avail. I also do not have people come over to my apartment because I have no way of knowing how my dog will react, which is INSANE because he's not a big powerful breed... he's a 10 lb Yorkie!! Research on the supposed ""reputable dog breeder"" that VP got my pup from actually shows that they are a puppy mill located in Missouri. So not only did they sell me a dog from a puppy mill, but they also provided me with a letter that led me to believe that he was neutered. If not for the deceiving letter that said that he had been, I would have been able to lessen the stress of having a crazy dog because I would have gotten him neutered myself over a year ago, instead of having his issues worsen. PLEASE DO NOT GET ANY PUPPIES FROM HERE!!! THEY GET THEIR DOGS FROM PUPPY MILLS, SO THERE IS NO GUARANTEE AS TO WHAT YOU ARE REALLY GETTING! PUPPY MILLS SELL INBRED AND GENETICALLY DEFECTIVE DOGS, SO UNLESS YOU WANT TO TAKE THE GAMBLE THAT YOURS WONT BE LIKE THIS, AVOID BUYING FROM THEM!!! And I only gave them one star because there was no way of rating them any lower! more

I searched online and found Vanity Pups Boutique, We got our Maltese in September from Vanity Pups Boutique.Michael helped us find our little one. The staff were very helpful. I would recommend this place to my friends & family more

Thank you so, so much Vanity Pups! I've been waiting for a puppy my whole life, and finally getting my puppy from Vanity Pups was well worth the wait! The Boutique really impressed me with the staff's professionalism, experience, and all of the care that they put into each of the puppies they have. I certainly fell in love with Princess since the first time I saw her, and she is truly the most precious and perfect puppy: she rarely barks, is so well potty-trained, and is extraordinarily smart, well-behaved, loving, and friendly. I cannot thank the staff enough for how well they took care of my puppy and how helpful, patient, and considerate they are to us. I am so grateful for the love, thorough care, and invaluable experience that they have...because Princess is everything I've ever wanted, and so, so much more. I'm really happy with the starter kit and the detailed packet Michael went through with us---particularly her diet needs. And most importantly, the vet said she is a very healthy little girl and he was really impressed with how well-prepared we are in caring for her. So again, I cannot thank Vanity Pups enough for giving me such an amazing bundle of joy! more

My husband and I ventured into Vanity Pups just to look at the dogs and see how we'd feel around them. We had no intention of buying a dog, we only wanted to look. But when we walked into the shop, a sweet little puppy stood up in her crib, as if she wanted to meet us. She had such an adorable face and a quiet disposition, I fell in love immediately. I think my decision was made right then and there. Michael, the owner of Vanity Pups, sat with us for a while as we played with the puppy. He was extremely helpful in answering all of our questions and informing us of how we would take care of our little one should we take her home. Meanwhile I was falling more and more in love with this little sweetie. One day later, my husband and I took her home! Her name is Peach and she is the cutest, most loving, most playful and amazing dog ever. We couldn't be happier with our little sweetie and we're so thankful to have found her at Vanity Pups. I want to say also that Peach is such a peaceful dog (when she's not being a playful energetic puppy, that is!), and I can only assume that the folks at Vanity Pups took really good care of her. I had been searching for a puppie website for a while and then i ran into their website so i went and checked it out and i was searching for a maltese, but all the maltese that i had seen i wasn't to crazy about, so once i got into their website and saw on their upcoming babies link the maltese babies that they had were so adorable and then i ran into my baby Corky and i felt in love!!! i had to wait for him for 2 weeks and i was so ancious to see him and when he finally arrived he was as cute as i had seeing him so i took him home, he cought a cold on the first week that we got him, so since he had a vet check anyways i decided to take him asap and they checked him and everything was fine, the vet told me that is very common to get a cold since is a new enviroment, so they gave me some medicine and he is been better ever since, but he still has some congestion but i guess is like us humans once we get a cold it takes a while for that congestion to go away. more

I recently bought a maltese pup from vanity pups. As soon as I received the dog I noticed that the dog was rubbing his butt on my floors. I took him to the vet to see if he had worms or any parasites. He had Giardia. When I found this out I looked at my contract with vanity pups and they provided the Breeders ID to see if they received any fines. And to my shock the place that breaded my dog had numerous fines. Every time they were on the premises they received a fine for dirty kennels, and sleep areas for the dogs. One of the fines for sanitation was given recently in May 2011. When you buy a dog or think about buying a dog please check out the breeders license number and do your background check before you make a commitment like this. Mike saw how upset I was and said he would watch the puppy for 10-14 days and get another fecal sample done on him to see if the Giardia went away. Dogs get Giardia by dirty water, and being around other infected dogs because its in their feces. So my dog was with vanity pups for the 2 weeks and he had another fecal done and it came back negative. When I came in to pick up the dog mike stayed in his office pretty much the whole time and I did not get the nice customer service i received when first buying the dog. I noticed that my dogs bed which he had with him at vanity pups WAS SOAKED WITH PEE and had poop in it. Now my dog pees constantly in his crate and bed and I have to get him checked to see if he has a urinary tract infection. Also I looked over the diagnostic paper that i was given to show my dogs fecal was negative and my dog is 5months but its good to know that they tested a dog that was 2months old. Now I have to go to my vet and get a UTI test and another fecal test. Thanks vanity pups for nothing it def seems like all you guys care about is getting good reviews on your company and the money. I used to praise vanity pups but not anymore. I let all my friends know the situation they left me with my dog and Giardia is very contagious so if you bought a dog from vanity pups or had them watch your dog during may-june I would get your dog checked for Giardia or any other parasites. more

I really like vanity pups. I got a t-cup yorkie last month. I visited almost all the stores around there and very unhappy on the qualities. HOWEVER, This vanity pups store, it is super cleanest and great place. The staffs were great and very informative especially for first time buying puppy!!! more
