Good folks - but seemed harried with workload. 2 hour wait was okay because I had computer and earbuds. TV should be on closed-caption, in my opinion. Only issue they found was burned out light bulb on license plate. Told them to replace but didn't know it would $28+ with parts/labor. Ouch. I will replace my own bulb next time.
RESPONSE FROM Van Horn Hyundai:
Hello Jim,
Thanks for sharing the information and again we apologize for not meeting your expatiations, and our expectations during your last service visit. Our service writer has explained that at the time of your appointment you were scheduled for two manufacture recalls, a noisy engine belt and rear license plate bulbs. These repairs are approximately two hours and the vehicle repairs were completed while you waited. The rear license plate bulbs were $23.55 installed and the engine belt tension adjustment was $9.50 for a total $33.05 plus tax. I apologize for the excessive noise in the waiting room as sometimes it can be busy in there. I have shared your comments with the staff and also explained to them about the value of each and every customer. We will use this as a learning experience to improve the level of service we offer. They understood and again apologized for you not receiving better service. Please contact me at jay@vanhornhyundai.com with any questions or phone me at 920-457-3608.
