I hesitated to make a reservation with an "off brand" rental company but only Value Van offered a 15 passenger van in the Newark, NJ area. Book early ($100 refundable deposit) using the excellent web site and bring your drivers license and insurance card to office to secure your van. If you decline their insurance, they will call your insurance company to verify coverage. Have telephone number for your insurer handy. Adding en extra driver is only $5/day but they need all paperwork and insurance too. Van was clean, low mileage and surprisingly comfortable and easy on the gas. Passenger car plates good for all parkways in tri-state area, Bring your own EZPass for tolls, Ask to have rear row of seats removed for luggage if not needed for passengers. Value Van will pick up drivers only at Newark airport. Call to give terminal, level, door number. A short 10 minute ride to office to get the van then you must return to airport to pick up your party. BRING A MAP of Newark area. Getting to/from the airport to the rental facility in Union is daunting. Customer service was excellent on the phone and in-person when handling check-out and check-in of van. Note their office hours. This is NOT a national chain but well worth the slight aggravation of going off airport. more

They have new vans I rented 15 seater van ford 350 model they gave me brand new vehicle. Only what I don't like is that they are close on Sunday . more

We rented a conversion van for our big graduation weekend to Penn state. It was amazing.The service was exceptional and the van was in pristine condition. We were able to fit all of our daughters gear plus 8 suitcases and we had room to spare. It was a god sent. It was really a great experience to not take two cars. Thanks again! more

wow! i have rentwd from other compinies before but never got the service i got from brad & his team.... We broke down in our own car at 12pm last saturday and we could not find anyone to help us. I called several rental compinies and no one would help us but when i got in touch with value rental they took care of everthing up to even recomending a tow service to get us out of our jam. If your looking for a great company with great customer service look no further. The whole team at value is there for you when you need them!!!!!!! J Collins more

I needed a 15 passenger van for a trip my family and I were taking . I originallly rented with a different company but the day before they called and told me they could not fulfill my reservation. I called Value and spoke with Brad. He was incredibly helpful and I needed up saving money by using Value Auto Rental. I will defiantly rent from them again. more

My first impression of this company would be absolutely negative and (0 out of 5 stars), if I only had my experience based on the interaction with the manager. The manger did not have an understanding of client satisfaction, however, there are some other employees, that go the extra mile to ensure client satisfaction. I appreciate the professional poise and the attention to detail that one of the staff members displayed their named Lawrence. I can honestly say, that this facility would be in much better hands,if they were Lawrence s hands I appreciate the time and talent of the other staff members, but the rating was low due to the negative interaction, and incompetence of the manager.. more
