I hesitated to make a reservation with an "off brand" rental company but only Value Van offered a 15 passenger van in the Newark, NJ area. Book early ($100 refundable deposit) using the excellent web site and bring your drivers license and insurance card to office to secure your van. If you decline their insurance, they will call your insurance company to verify coverage. Have telephone number for your insurer handy. Adding en extra driver is only $5/day but they need all paperwork and insurance too. Van was clean, low mileage and surprisingly comfortable and easy on the gas. Passenger car plates good for all parkways in tri-state area, Bring your own EZPass for tolls, Ask to have rear row of seats removed for luggage if not needed for passengers. Value Van will pick up drivers only at Newark airport. Call to give terminal, level, door number. A short 10 minute ride to office to get the van then you must return to airport to pick up your party. BRING A MAP of Newark area. Getting to/from the airport to the rental facility in Union is daunting. Customer service was excellent on the phone and in-person when handling check-out and check-in of van. Note their office hours. This is NOT a national chain but well worth the slight aggravation of going off airport.
