The repairman showed up on time and got right to work. When he left 30 minutes later he had thoroughly check my heater and it was working. He left good instructions about what to do if it stopped working again. My heater has been working since, This is after several other companies come to look at it and not be able to fix it because it was electric. I will definitely recommend this company to anyone in need of heater repair. more

I found this company through Diamond Certified. I found that they have been around a long time in this area, so that made me feel good. I really liked the person who came out for service. I think his name was Mike. He recommended a new unit, since mine was 30 years old, so I got an estimate from them to replace it. I went ahead and got three estimates, but decided to go with them since they had already provided me with great service, and because they said they would deduct the service fee I paid from the furnace price. They came out to replace my furnace, and the installer Jason, was very clean and knowledgeable. He put down drop clothes without me asking, and also fixed a duct that he found disconnected in the attic. All in all, it was a very good experience, and I will use them again for service in the future. more

Fantastic service. I called at 11am because my home's central heat is not working. The house was 50 degrees so quick service was kind of important. They were here at 4:45pm same day. Any visit to your home is $120. The serviceman, Mike, was friendly and professional. He fixed my furnace, explained to me what to do if it happens again, gave me a couple tips on routine preventative maintenance and then adjusted my crooked thermostat on the way out. I could not have asked for any more. I know $120 sounds like a lot for a 20 minute visit, but it was well worth it. I would highly recommend these folks. more

Their technician, Michael Z., just saved us hundreds of dollars by eliminating an expendable part that had failed, whereas another company could have easily said our only option was to replace an expensive valve. The heater in my mother's house went out during a cold stretch last winter. We called Valley Heating and Cooling. Cindy Faulkner of Valley Heating and Cooling immediately sent a technician out to assess the problem and deliver space heaters to keep her warm before installing a new furnace. We had VHC install a new Lennox High Efficiency furnace. The workmen arrived on time and were neat, clean and polite. When the old furnace broke down they had the service tech here on a Friday night to try to get us heat. I like their dispatching system because they give you a time frame so you don't have to wait around all day. I would not hesitate to recommend Valley Heating to my friends. more

Since I have several cats, and one sheds alot I thought it would be a great idea to have my ducts cleaned, and filter changed. And while they were out, my AC wasn't working at full speed so they did a tune up on that as well. They were fabulous!!! Arrived excatly when they said they would, they wore those ""booties"", and since they had to bring in a big fat tube for the cleaning, they put drop cloths down and totally cleaned up . Not a spec of dust left behind. Price was right!!! Plus I had their electrician Sal install a couple of house fans...Great company!!!!! more

Well it happens. Your heater fails and it is freezing. I tried calling someone more local to get the heater serviced. The best any could do was 4 days later. So I called Valley. They responded promptly, pointed out the cost of the diagnosis on the phone and said they could be out later that same day between 3 PM and 5PM. At 3:05 PM the technician showed up. He examined the system and played with it for about 15 minutes. He explained that his diagnosis was that the control Board for my Carrier 8000TS heater was bad but he was attempting to see if he could get it to at least be manually controlled so we would have some heat. Alas, he tried several things finally determining that the blower relay was defective and he could not adjust the board to recover from that failure. So he said, I'll order you a new board right away and we'll schedule you a new appointment as soon as it arrives. He also checked the install date and pointed out that control board was still under warranty and so the only costs were the time for diagnosis and install. Since the board costs about $400.00 that was a significant saving. Early the next morning I got a call from Valley saying that Chris, the tech had ordered the board and that it would be delivered late that afternoon and they would come the next day to get it installed. Sure enough, around 9:40AM the next morning Chris showed back up again and replaced the board. So now we have heat. The Valley people could not have been more professional. They kept their appointments, called with information about the progress and were courteous. I was very pleased with their work and professionalism and really appreciated the rapid response. I am happy to recommend them. more

I had used Valley Heating for duct vacuuming almost 2 yeas ago. Recently decided to replace the furnace and AC and got estimates from two companies. Decided to go with Valley since it was a company I used in the past and they had good reviews online, work for the next Thursday and Friday. On Thursday, a crew of 3 installers with 2 vans came out. Since they had 3 guys, they were able to finish in 1 day. The head installer Ray was very professional and answered all my questions. They put drop cloths down everywhere they went in the house and made sure to close the bedroom doors to reduce the amount of dust that got in there. The install went well and they explained everything about the system to. more

When our antiquated gravity heater went out in early December we were not happy campers -- and were pretty damn cold. Our first thought was to call Sears, but my father's wife suggested we call Valley. She had hired Valley to replace the furnace at her mom's and was pleased with their work. I ended up getting estimates from both Valley and Sears. I ultimately went with Valley because we were impressed with the knowledge of the salesman, Robert. And also because Sears had indicated they couldn't give us an install date because they couldn't locate the furnace they wanted to see us (WHAT!?!). All in all, Valley was a class act and we couldn't be happier. From initial estimate to installation, we were treated very well and feel that everyone we dealt with was honest, trustworthy and dependable. The installers, Jeremey and Jerry, were very professional and knowledgeable about their trade. They also seemed genuinely interested in restoring heat for my family. They went above and beyond in the work that they did and showed up when they said they would and cleaned up after themselves. When doing the final walk through with Jeremy, I appreciated his attention to detail and honest replies to my questions. When the city inspector came to sign off on the permit, the first thing he said was ""Valley did the work? I am familiar with them, they are good"" and was literally in and out. I am sure our 4 month old is stoked he no longer has to wear mittens and hats in the house to stay warm! I'd refer Valley to my friend and family in a heart beat. more

We had a new hybrid system installed, consisting of furnace and heat pump AC. It runs on either gas or electricity, which is useful because we have solar panels. It went very well from start to finish. the estimator was pleasant, informative and efficient. The installation seemed very complex (attic, garage, crawl space), but the two gentlemen were professional and worked hard to keep the house as clean as possible. The work was done in two days, as promised. more

They came out to diagnose the problem and made a repair. I thought they did it within a good timeframe and I thought the cost was acceptable. They were prompt, efficient, and honest. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone. ?We knew we had scored when the crew showed up.? ?It was Nordstrom? service from the get go. We got multiple bids, of course. But other companies simply didn?t listen, or seem to care about our needs. They wanted to install fastest/cheapest. Valley really took the time to listen, and worked hard to design exactly what we wanted. And, they did so with no extra charges (which the other companies wanted to add). ?They went the extra mile in so many ways? ?Their response time was fast. We live up in the hills, so we expected to have to wait. Not so with Valley. And each time they came they were on time ? complete, meticulous professionals. Every day, they vacuumed and dusted! The last day of the install was in the midst of a heat wave, and the chief installer stayed until 7:30 PM to make sure everything was buttoned down. ?Knowledge made an amazing difference? ?Our installation wasn?t easy ? two variable speed furnaces, two air conditioners, and complete ductwork for the upstairs. But their people treated our home as if it were theirs, right down to the screws. They clearly had far more knowledge than their competition, and it showed. We have nothing but good things to say about their quality and service. And, from the references we checked, so did several others. Hi, last week I had two furnaces and one air conditioning unit installed at my home. The reason for this note is that I am pleasantly pleased how the entire job went down. From my first call, visit by Rob Minor and the installation by Robert, all went like clock work. The first sale call was informative without arm twisting. He just gave me the facts and cost; and on the subsequent visit, we signed the paper as on the previously agreed proposal. On the day of the installation, Robert and his partner arrived on the agreed time and proceeded to do their thing. They carefully covered the floors with tarps and proceeded with demolition without waking the sleeping granddaughter. From time to time, I would observe their work and I was impressed. They did it work quickly and always cleaned afterwards. As I stated previously, the project went like clockwork. more

The Service Tech showed up on time. Was able to determine the problem and fix it within an hour so. The tech was very professional and knew what he was doing (experience). Gave me some tips for the future as well and we have had no problem with the heater since. I would use Valley Heating and Cooling again. No wonder they have been in buisness for so long!!! They sure know what they are doing more
