Worst

Most arrogant, obnoxious doctor, or for that matter, person I have ever encountered. Any medical skills are overshadowed by his most undesirable manner.

Editorial review from Citysearch 8/13/2012

Absolutely the WORST PATIENT CARE I have ever dealt with. I had my thyroid removed due to cancer in 2007 and I need to take a medication daily to LIVE. I have been going to Dr. Shadmany's office (Valley Endocrine Associates) for over 4 years now and on two different occasions his office has REFUSED to re-fill the medication I need to take on a daily basis - both times due to the office's mistake. It takes the office DAYS to address a pharmacy prescription request and thenwill deny the re-fill. I am never notified by the office when they deny my re-fill and only find out when I go to pick up the prescription that the office has DENIED my prescription - and by that time I am out of meds. When I call the office and insist that I need my medication they are snotty and never get back to me - leaving me without my meds for over a week. The first time this happened, I was upset but figured it was a one time occurence. This time - I'm switching doctors. How an office can DENY a patient a medication that is keeping them alive without any notification, without any office contact, without any doctor's intervention is, to me, CRIMINAL and I will be reporting this doctor and practice to the medical board. Stay FAR AWAY from this practice! more

Dr. Shadmany is wonderful 10/4/2011

I can't speak highly enough of Dr. Shadmany and he's staff. They have always been wonderful to me; returned phone calls, jumped through hoops to get me into the doc, answered questions, etc. Dr. Shadmany even called me at home on a Saturday to give me blood work results. I highly recommend him and his staff! more

Worst Doctors office in my 42 years 7/29/2011

I was a patient here for the last 4 years and never once had a good experience. Always 45-60 minute wait time to see the doctor, even when I called ahead to see if he was running on time! Doctors and staff do not return phone calls in any sort of timely manner. I am currently waiting a call back and it has been 11 days since I left my first message. I have left 2 additional messages and explained my urgency and STILL no call back. It is quite unbelievable that they consider this ""care"". Dr. Shadmany is a nice man but is difficult to understand and clearly doesn't really make patient concerns a priority. more

Referring doctor apologies 3/9/2011

I ask for a referral and my doctor said don't expect to much in the was of ""bed side manor"". I didn't know what he meant until I read some of the reviews. I think I'll pass. more

Fantastic Doctor Biesbrock 6/1/2010

I was referred to Dr. Biesbrock when I learned I had a parathyroid problem along with my diabetes. I have never had such wonderful care than I have with him. I would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone. I have never had one complaint in the three years I have been seeing him. Sorry to hear such bad comments regarding his partners. Pros: Excellent care, knowledgeable doctor more

Dr. Shadmany 5/20/2010

unable to make followup appointment with doctor - staff refused to provide us with results of blood tests taken. Kept lying about not having the results yet. Clerical staff thought our dilemma was humorous. Demands to talk to the doctor and get our file were ignored to such a degree that we filed complaints with the Atty General and Medical Review Board. We'll see how funny it is now. We will not frequent this physician again and he should fire the whole office staff - get someone in there who know what they are doing and know how to tell the truth. First and foremost, the patient should come first, not the power of the office employees. Pros: Dr. Seemed concerned Cons: medical and office staff extremely rude, obnoxious more

Valley Endocrine doesn't appear to care about patients 5/6/2010

The only person you can contact is the doctor's nurse and she won't answer the phone. Her voice mail says not to leave important messages because she doesn't check messages very often. God forbid you have problems between your scheduled appointments. They don't care. They won't talk to you. They won't see you. My high calcium count put me into kidney failure and they still ignored me. Save yourself, find a different clinic to go to. This one is horribly run! Pros: Great doctor Cons: Worst run medical office of face of earth more

SHADMANY Pros: best endocronlogist in world Cons: worlds no. 1 dr more

HORRIBLE! 2/12/2009

I have been a patient for 3+ years. I have had NOTHING but bad experiences. Everything from waiting 3+ weeks for a returned phone call from Shantel, Dr. Shadmany's assistant, to waiting 2+ hours for an appointment that was scheduled 3 months in advance. Absolutely NO respect for the patient's time, or illness. Dr. Shadmany is one of the WORST doctors I have ever encountered. He belittles his patients, does not listen to symptoms, or complaints about his staff's poor service. He flat out told me I was NOT experiencing the side effects from the Synthroid he prescribed for me... EXCUSE ME... I KNOW WHAT SYMPTOMS I HAVE... Sleeping 18+ hours a day due to improper treatment of my hypothyroid is NOT ACCEPTABLE! For a doctor to INTERRUPT a patient when the patient is describing debilitating symptoms, major health concerns and possible alternative treatments is infuriating. \r \r Going to Valley Endocrine Associates is the WORST mistake I've ever made health wise. I have been misdiagnosed, belittled, mistreated, and feel like 3 years of my life have been wasted. The office staff is unfriendly, and understaffed. Prescription refills go unanswered, putting patients at risk. The office's policy does not allow you to switch between doctors. The ONLY reason these guys are in business is because they have one of the only Endocrinology offices in the East Valley. \r \r The ONLY reason I will EVER be stepping foot in this office again is to obtain my medical records. The staff has been HORRIBLE to get a hold of regarding my records, refuses to send them to a new doctor (has taken 3+ weeks to respond to my new doctor's requests). It is INSANE that they want to charge me $30 to FAX my own medical records to me. I could understand if I obtained a physical copy of my records... but the office wants to charge THIRTY DOLLARS to FAX records.... Absolutely insane. \r \r Consider going ANYWHERE but Valley Endocrine Associates, unless you want to be treated like cattle. \r Absolutely awful office. Pros: Located in Mesa Cons: The list goes on and on. Mostly Dr. Shadmany. He is HORRIBLE more

Putting Patients at RISK!!! 11/13/2008

Imposable to talk to a live person, never get calls from the Dr. or his assistant, Pharmacy has to send many requests for Prescriptions and Dr. Shadmany takes weeks to get them put in which leaves the Patients at RISK with out their Medication. If it wasn't for my Pharmacist Giving me Pills to hold me over I could be in a Coma , They say it could take 72 hrs, well they should change that to three weeks. Since there are no other alternatives I'm stuck, here with poor service and high prices! I have sent a letter to the ADA and AMA but never heard back on his lack of attention to his Patients...\r \r Help Obama, Help! Pros: Pretty Office Cons: No way to contact, no level of service at all... more

Good office 5/8/2008

I have seen Dr. Allan since 2005 and I have never had a complaint. He always gets my perscriptions to me on time and mails my test results to my house. He makes sure to adress any concerns that I have in the appointment and offers good advice as to what needs to be done. As far as the staff goes they are not any different than any other doctors office that I have had to visit and trust me as a diabetic I have been to quite a few! I would recomend their office to anyone. Professional in every way. Pros: Good doctor no problems Cons: To far out in east Mesa now! more

very very poor 11/20/2007

The doctor I saw Alan Lewis is absolutely incooperative. Its been 2 months and around 10 phone calls but he still hasn't had time to send my adjusted prescription. My legs are swollen with hypothyroid problems but neither the doctor nor his nurse care. The practice does not allow you to change doctors within the practice. I am wrting a letter to the attorney general. And remember I am apatient for 5 years and this is the treatment I get. When I went for his appointment they made me wait 2 hours and promised to send the prescription after the ultrasound he wrote me down for but I am yet to receive a feedback or an adjusted prescription. The only reason the group is in business is because of their monopoly. Pros: very few doctors in the valley Cons: absolutely bad more

Don't waste your time! 9/27/2006

Long wait and extremely rude staff. Doctor is a control-freak who doesn't care about his patients at all. He said he's ""too busy"" to let patients know about thier lab results and makes you wait until your next appointment to get your results (even if it's 2 months away). His reason: patients won't return for thier next appointment unless HE has their lab result! Refuses to write prescriptions, and makes the pharmacy call him. Will not be going back. Pros: not many Endocrinologists in the valley Cons: Doctor is rude, uncaring more
