Best

Been here a few times, I do not have the best teeth but no guilt trips, no money-grubbing, no passive aggressive or creepyness. I HATE going to the dentist, and I usually hate den...

Worst

I have to agree with most of the reviews, on both sides. WCPC has a very technically proficient staff. They don't make major errors (such as mixing up animals or medications) an...

After going for a follow up we will never go back if we can help it. We actually LOVED our vet, she was amazing with our dog when he was having seizures, took her time explaining and answering our questions, we were very impressed, which is why we chose to take our dog back, an hour away from where we live, for a follow up. We only went at first as we needed an after hours vet. So, she told us to come back to have his bloodwork checked to make sure the seizure meds were at the right level would be $26. We thought that was low, so we called TWICE more, both times being told yup, our bill for the follow up would be $26. Then, we go, and it comes to $116. They just said, oops, sorry for the miscommunication. We will only go here again if it's after hours and our dog needs monitoring again, otherwise we'll go an hour away in the opposite direction, to Payson, for our after hour needs. more

Sloppy work when we had our Shih Tzu spayed this week. We scheduled her three weeks in advance for her to be spayed, have her hernia fixed, and get a microchip. She got spayed, but the doctor forgot to do the hernia even though we had discussed it at the three previous visits of her puppy program and confirmed it when we scheduled and over the phone the day before. The worker at the front desk evidently didn't write it down. The doctor also failed to check the notes on our dog. She said that she doesn't review her notes before she spays dogs. They also didn't have any microchips available even though we scheduled the visit three weeks in advance.... 1 out of 3 isn't a good average. Hopefully things will be better when we have to put our poor little puppy through another surgery. Otherwise they have been very good. Maybe we just got the short end of the stick this time. more

PuppyLovertimes10, that's interesting because I've known Lee for years--she trained our dog, and did an amazing job--and the only people who ever find her ""difficult"" are the ones who have bad attitudes or are too hard on their dogs. Just something you might want to think about. more

Editorial review from Citysearch 7/7/2012

I accidentally came across this page and I for one will agree completely that Lee Prince is a nightmare to work with. I wouldnt let any of my animals near this woman again. I am not related to her and the knowledge I have of her is at Willow Creek. Think twice before ever having her anywhere around your pet. more

Good job 4/12/2012

Been here a few times, I do not have the best teeth but no guilt trips, no money-grubbing, no passive aggressive or creepyness. I HATE going to the dentist, and I usually hate dentists personalities, but I love this place. Dr. Peterson and the staff are exceptional. more

the truth about terrible trainer 9/12/2011

I am one of the dog training instructors at Willow Creek Pet Center. I recommended someone for employment at Willow Creek Pet Center, first in the clinic and then as a training apprentice. Despite lots of effort from the staff, things did not work out and the she is no longer working for us. This review was written by a relative who is angry over her sister's departure, presuming incorrectly that Lee had something to do with it. The review is vengeful and no credence should be given to what was said. Lee is a valued member of our team at Willow Creek and very popular with her students. She receives consistently positive and enthusiastic reviews. I would be happy to have any one of my own dogs in her classes. more

Trainer Controversies 9/10/2011

Wow, in the 15 years I have known Lee Prince I have never seen the negative qualities that Abuck mentions. Lee is a great trainer--I always use many of the easy and effective things she has taught me, with my own dogs. Lee loves people and dogs and takes special satisfaction in supporting and improving their relationships. She is never harsh or cruel or unkind--to either species. I figure that when people get so vicious and negative about others, it is saying more about them than the people they're targeting. The easiest and best thing to do will be to go observe Lee in action in one of her classes--then you'll know that Abuck's assertions are completely groundless. more

MAKE YOUR PUPPY'S SATURDAY SPECIAL 9/8/2011

I just read abuck4's account of Puppy Playtime at WCPC, and feel I must reply. We have attended this socialization class for more than 6 months & our poodle pup LOVES it. Yes water spray bottle are used by both owners and staff inorder to clam down the puppies who become too excited but not squirted in the face. No owner who saw treatment of this sort would bring their pet back. more

Interesting... 8/29/2011

I just have to say that everyone is getting bent out of shape because I disliked the training style of their buddy. Fact is, a review is a personal opinion based on one's personal experience. I still stand by my opinion, and when I originally called in to Donna to complain, it was based on my own personal interactions. My sister was then fired because of an opinion I had that was completely unrelated to her feelings for Lee. Wrongful termination? I think so. All of my sister's performance ""issues"" were based on things that Lee said about her... interesting. Did Donna ever have personal issues with her? Yes, once. Except it was her aunt who had an issue with her.. interesting. Then Martine finds out about the reviews I put online and tells my sister that she can't come back to her apprenticeship that she has been doing for 2 years, after being a star student in her CGI class, and being supposedly friends. I just think the whole thing has been dealt with unprofessionally and it is extremely disappointing. If Donna had said to me that my opinion was valid and hadn't yelled at me about my sister's employment (it was inappropriate to discuss that with anyone but the employee) then maybe I wouldn't have felt the need to review her poorly and it would have ended there. So go ahead and reap what you've sewn, thanks for banning me, I hope you can all be happy with yourselves. I would seriously reconsider doing business with Willow Creek were I you, obviously the customer is not always right! (there are a few trainers I still really really love, but I'm not allowed to take classes from them so... here you go) more

My dogs love them! 6/23/2011

My dogs love to go here! When they go to any other vet my dogs shake in fear. At Willow Creek they wag their tails when we drive up. We have always received high quality veterinary care with genuine concern and friendly service. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Love these guys! more

If You Love Your Pet Take Them Here 6/23/2011

If you love your pet, this is the place to take them! I love the kind and knowledgeable doctors and staff. They have always been very friendly to me and to my dogs. My dogs love to go there! When they went to any other vet they would shake in fear. At Willow Creek it's like they are going to see friends. They receive top notch veterinary care. The doctors and staff really do care. I wouldn't go anywhere else. more

Great Vet Center 5/25/2011

Willow creek has been a great vet center and I am impressed in their staff. They are very helpful and very good at explaining things. They are so cute with my dog Sasha and she loves the girls. I feel so comfortable taking her there and I highly recommend anyone with a dog or cat to go to willow creek. more

Great Vet 5/13/2011

Willow Creek Pet Center is great. We started going there for our bulldog because Dr. Barney specializes in them. We also take our Mini Schnauzer to Willow Creek to have her annual exams. We have seen several vets on our visits and they are all very knowledgeable and friendly. We highly recommend taking your pets here for care. more

Best Vet In Utah 5/9/2011

I have taken every dog Ive ever owned to Willow Creek.. I have always been treated with great and friendly care. They have got to know me as well as my dogs personally. Which always makes a huge difference and makes you feel very important and that you and your animal matters to them. The whole staff there is amazing and very Professional... When Im asked where to take their dogs or cats I highly Recommend Wilow Creek. I have even boarded my dog there as well as other family members of mine have... I could never speak to highly of Willow Creek and their team. The Vets and Vet techs are always straight up front with what my dog is in need of, no lines of BS. Dr. Barney and his close staff have always help ease any concern Ive ever had. Im truly grateful to have them as my vet!! more

Dont Board your dog here. 1/6/2011

They dont keep food records. They give them a few min's chance to eat and if they dont then its taken away. If you take a blanket or bed, they wont use it. They say they will, but they dont. My dog came home with sore elbows from sleeping on a concrete floor. I told them he needed an orthopedic bed and they assured me. I know, If he had the choice there is no way he would have chosen the floor as it it painful for him. It took him 2 weeks to gain the weight back that he lost while at Willowcreeks boarding. I dont know if its a management problem, or what, but the boarding is run like a 3 ring circus. The right hand does not know what the left hand is doing. Its too bad because the facility itself is top notch. more

Outstanding Excellent Care - Cannot say thanks enough 12/10/2010

We have know Dr. Campbell and the staff at Willow Creek for nearly 20 years. During that time we have experienced Willow Creek's excellent medical care for our pets. 4 dogs and 2 cats. The dog training classes were fun and very helpful, and the groomers have been very good also. One thing that has been consistent is the compassionate care that has been given to us and our pets. Just a week ago i took one of our Carin Terriers in to see Dr. Campbell. I was sure that it was hopeless and would soon lose my little friend. He is now getting stronger and recovering thanks to the skill and compassion of Dr. Campbell, who wasn't ready to give up on him. We really can not say thanks enough! One thing that I especially appreciate is the time that Dr. Campbell or his fellow Doctors have taken to explain things and answer all of our questions. more

Amazing Veterinarians and Staff 10/25/2010

Willow Creek Pet Center is the best pet care we have ever received. I can't begin to explain the kindness, caring and professional service we have received here.\r \r We have four pets of our own and several pets of friends that have been going here for the last four years. Their prices are comparable to other local veterinary clinics. \r \r My daughters 80 pd dog (10 months old) was recently in a horrible accident. We rushed him to Willow Creek badly hurt and bleeding. They were so kind, they took him straight to the back and stabilized him. He needed surgery the next day. His leg was broken in several places and he received a metal plate with a lot of pins. Four hours of surgery! This dog is my daughters much beloved baby. They were so kind and compassionate throughout the whole ordeal. After the surgery they offered us three days of complimentary boarding so his leg would heal properly. We called during the day and during the night to see how he was doing. They were alw more

Willow Creek is super friendly, caring and knowledgeable. I've been to many other veterinary clinics in this area and other area's and these guys are the best hands down. Love them! more

Fantastic boarding facility! 10/12/2010

New to the area, I was in search for a quality boarding facility to board my "special needs"13 year old cocker spaniel for a week. I was worried about leaving her anywhere being so old and needing so much care ie: eating four times a day, pain medications three times a day, and needing to have outside potty access multiple times a day. I toured several boarding facilities and Willow Creek was by far the best. First and foremost, their kennels were VERY CLEAN! The staff was very friendly and made me feel comfortable leaving my pet in their care. They also didnt mind me calling to check on my pet eveyday (im such a worrier). When I picked my pet up she looked great. I expected her to have a "kennel type smell" at pick up but she smelled great and her coat was soft. The employee informed me they give a free bath after so many nights of boarding. BONUS!!! Most importantly, my pet came home HAPPY. I will never take my pet anywhere else. THANK YOU WILLOW CREEK!! more

Great Pet Care 10/12/2010

I have used Willow Creek for 20 years, They were reccomeneded by my parents who have also been using them for over 20 yrs. They are almost always open and my pets seem to have emergencies on holidays. When I adopted my lab 10 yrs ago I had her spayed elsewhere because of the adoption contract. When I picked her up they didn't give me any after care instructions or offer any additional pain meds. I called Willow Creek when I got home and explained the situation. They gave after care instructions and how to use my deceased dogs pain meds that I already had at home. Thier staff is very friendly and the doctors knowledgeable and compassionate. Their prices may be a little more but I believe in you get what you pay for and my pets are part of my family. They deserve ""Nordstrom's service"" over ""Walmart service"" more
