Do NOT use Loomis Basins ER 6/20/2008

Took my dog to Loomis Basins ER and they basically monitored him to death. They provided no supportive care and no treatment all they did was watch him all night. When he started going downhill at 8:00am no one called me. At 11:08am I received a call saying he was non-responsive, as my husband and I were rushing to the clinic I got another call at 11:12 saying they were performing CPR. Bottom line. They knew for three hours that our baby was dying and never once called us so that we could spend time with him in his final hours. These people are insensitive and incompetent. Their reason....they had to many more critical cases. What was our dog a piece of garbage? I would never take my animal to these people. more

Take your pet HERE!! :o) 1/14/2008

Kind and conscientious staff, you can tell they really CARE about animals of all kinds! Each vet was kind and considerate no matter how many times I called or asked questions. They were very nice to my old pet and when it came time to put her to sleep they were extremely accomodating and compassionate. I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else. Even the staff people were friendly and helpful no matter how busy they were. They remembered my name and my pet's name each time I visited. What a real blessing to have these vets in our community; so please do not be fooled by other so-called "vet hospitals" that are just in it for the money. Loomis-Basin is the best! Their pet fees were reasonable and well explained; there were no "surprises"!! I never waited for any length of time when taking my pet in, visiting my dog or waiting for a call back from staff or the vet. GREAT PLACE! more

No need to look any farther for a vet.. 10/2/2007

Loomis Basin Veterinary Clinic is the one & only place I would trust to take care of my animals. I've had experience with their large animal clinic (for my horse) & their small animal clinic (for my cats & dogs) & everyone was unbelievable! I'm always recommending them to everyone I know who has animals. My parents were taking their dog to a DIFFERENT vet who misdiagnosed her illness. They brought her to Loomis Basin where they immediately took xrays, properly diagnosed her condition & treated her. Needless to say, my parents' animals will be Loomis Basin clients now & forever. more

Why go anywhere else? 4/5/2007

Very simply they saved my dogs life. \r My dog was having problems so I took him to our normal vet. They could not find anything wrong. When it got REALLY bad I rushed him into Loomis. Loomis diagnosed the problem and was able to do emergency surgery to save his life.\r \r My pets go nowhere else now. I felt bad leaving my normal vet who we had used for years. My wife resisted the move. No offense, but frankly, why would I pay the same amount to go to a place that does not have the expertise that I can get at Loomis? more

Loomis Basin is the best. I have been going to this same vet for 15 years and have nothing but good things to say about the vets at this clinic. I have brough 3 cats and 2 dogs to their small animal clinic without a complaint. I feel like my animals are in the best hands possible. Pricing is fair and my pet gets the health care they need. Clean, spacious and nice grounds surrounding. My dog loves their llamas!! PROS: Great caring vets, clean and fair prices CONS: None more

Great Veterinarian 9/18/2005

The staff at loomis basin Really care about your animal. There are multiple vets on duty night and day. I have had 2 dogs that have had surgery there. They went out of there way to keep in contact with me each night the dogs had to stay there. I cant thank them enough. A good vet is hard to find, they are one of the best. more

Reasonable pricing and friendly staff 9/15/2005

I used to go to other vet, but changed to Loomis Basin because pricing is very reasonable here. Their facility is spacious and staffs are very friendly. I would recommend this vet to any pet owners. PROS: Reasonable pricing, friendly staff CONS: more

Very good clinic 7/21/2005

The Loomis Basin Veterinary Clinic is a great choice to take your animals to. They serve small and large animals including Llamas and offer general practitioners and certified specialists to give you and your animals the best care. A great service that they offer is 24 hours service, including holidays. They have regular discounted vaccination clinics to keep your animals update. The staff is always very professional, friendly and great with the animals. They keep you up to date on your pets status at all times. They are there to answer all of your questions, night or day and you never feel like you are rushed or a bother. The main building is very welcoming and very clean, helping to know your pets are getting the best care around. I would definitely recommend taking your pets to the Loomis Veterinary clinic. They are a great animal clinic. more

The loomis basin veterinary clinic offers a variety of services for not only small animals but for Llamas! There is services such as medicine, surgery, vaccinations, spay and neuters, critical care, as well as speciality services such as chemoltherapy, radiology, ultrasonograghy, preventive and restoratvie dentistry. The staff is friendly and helpful in answerinf all your questions. They have a twenty-four hour continuous care, as well as emergency services available. They have a very lare staff of well trained and up to date knowledge to better serve you and your animals. They are a member of American Animal Hospital Assocation and have been in business for over 28 years. more
