Im a BIG pet lover and Marina Pet Hospital has taken care of all my dogs for decades. Debra Melcon has cared for my dogs since she arrived at Marina Pet. She is the best veterinarian in San Francisco. She is thoughtful, very smart and a very creative thinker. All my dogs owe their long lives to her. more

Their prices are comparable to vets in the Marina area. I really appreciated their early drop off and late pickup options during the weekdays. They are also open Saturday and Sunday! I recommend the pet insurance if you have an older and/or accident prone dog. more

I've been taking my pets to Marina Pet Hospital since 1980 and have always been pleased with the outstanding care and referrals my pets receive. After a recent experience with a stray cat and her kittens, I cannot say enough great things about these folks. The entire staff went way above and beyond with care, advice, and maximizing value. Yes, the front desk staff could use some polishing, but they all love animals and the vets are outstanding. They're not cheap, but offer a good insurance plan, and the expertise and kindness more than makes up for it. I recommend them to everyone looking for quality care for their pets more

We have been very pleased. Our kitty has some chronic issues and the vet always gives us options for treatment and estimates of potential costs for each option. We've never felt judged for choosing the options we have chosen. Everyone here is friendly and works to provide a comfortable experience for both pet and owner. Dr. Kim and Dr. Melcom are great veterinarians! They have cared for and treated all three of my wonderful dogs - a black Lab, a greyhound, and a mixed breed ""one of a kind"" dog. They have seen us through puppyhood to end of life issues. They have done so with great care, kindness, and skill. My dogs feel at home with them and their staff. They have gone the extra mile to help us save money. As with any medical professional, your veterinarian should be someone with whom you and your animal(s) have a trusting relationship over the years.   • Established in 1938, Marina Pet Hospital is a veterinary center that provides service to pets and their owners. Based in San Francisco, Calif., the center is a provider of medical care for pets and also educates pet owners on animal care. The hospital s services include medical, emergency care, diagnostic, surgical procedures, dental care, micro chipping and boarding. Marina Pet Hospital offers veterinary acupuncture to the patients, helping in relief of a condition s symptoms or reduction in the medications dose.
