Absolutely amazing. In short they were incredibly nice and caring toward my injured dog. They were able to squeeze me in with no appointment due to the nature of the injury. My dog was timid and they let me bring him to the back room to comfort him where they gave him tons of treats and even a free toy. I'm picky with who cares for my dog but this place is amazing! more

Great place with very knowlegeable and friendly people. My 2-month-old puppy was completely calm and relaxed the whole time, even when she was getting a shot, and I credit the vet's friendly and calming demeanor. It's also easy to get an appointment (I got my puppy on Sunday and had an appointment for her shots on Monday) and the health coverage that the hospital offers is comprehensive and relatively inexpensive. All around good experience and great quality of care. more

I have been bringing my pet Yorkie, Benny Bear to Marina Pet Hospital for many many years. I would have to say, this is one of the BEST hospitals I've ever been to. Right when I walk in the door I'm greeted with smiles. They seem to also remember my name and my Yorke's name. The girls at the front desk are very friendly and helpful. very enjoyable to chat with. I've read the other reviews that were posted about their visits with the front desk and i would say I have to. Maybe, that person and their pet was just having a bad day. Along with the doctor and the staff in the back it makes my visits very enjoying and pleasant. I know that my Benny Bear is being taken care of. more

I've been here many times now to get checkups, fecal tests, and fill out forms. Each time is a good experience, and my dog, Eevee loves it here! We go in and her tail wags like crazy!!! It's a completely different experience than my other dogs had at different vets. No tail between the legs or whimpering. Eevee remembers the staff here as the people who made her feel happy again. more

This is definitely a five star hospital. My dog was attacked on a Thurs afternoon. I rushed to them and they took so good care of him - his punctured lungs and surgery on his hind leg. I had been to 4 other vets before this for check ups and shots but never had such a wonderful experience. They made me feel confident enough to leave my little yorkshire in their hands. I have met all three of their vets there and can't find one thing wrong with them. And, also, the girls at the reception are really terrific. They all really helped me alot thru' this hard time. Tks to all of you. more

The staff at the Marina Pet Hospital have always gone far and beyond the call of duty. My pet, which I consider part of my family has had serious medical issues since she was 2 years old, and she just turned 12. In particular Rowena and Linda have always been professional, friendly, and most of all compassionate towards my little""Zoe"". When ever I have her stay at there kennel, they always call me to update me on Zoe's condition. I would have never been able to go on any vacations, without knowing she is given exceptional care. more

After moving across country one thing my husband and I worried about was finding a new vet for our pets. We decided to try out Marina Pet hospital after reading several really good reviews. We were greeted with open arms right away and they made us feel comfortable to be there. The location is a little small but it is very clean and doesn't stink like most vets do. We started taking our dog there for regular checkups until she became very sick one day. They helped us every step of the way and went above and beyond with personal attention and care. The referred us to the proper emergency vet when it was needed and are there for us every step of the way through her recovery. We are more than grateful for everything they have done for us and feel fortunate to have found them. The vet, Dr. Riley is very experienced and her staff are very personable and great at handling the animals, we are especially fond of Sarah and Tiffany. It's not only us that loves them, our dog goes crazy happy every time seems them! more

I've been taking my rescue lab here for about 5 years. I love the vets and the front room staff. They are sensitive to financial issues, send reminders about vaccinations, prescribe over the phone without a visit. more

We recently moved back to SF from Boston and had to find a new local vet. We were really impressed with Dr. Kim.\r \r She's very knowledgeable about different breeds and explained to us her theory on vaccinating dogs which I really appreciated. Our old vet definitely over vaccinated and over medicated and I appreciated that Dr. Kim was honest about what our dog needed even if it meant our bill was a bit lower because of it. more
