University Village At Swthm

My son has been a resident of University Village at Sweethome for about eight months. Last weekend the police came into my son's residence because a candle was left burning in his room mate's room, and they found a large quantity of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The other parade of ""roomies"" has been no less stellar. They take my son's food and supplies without permission, blast music when he is trying to sleep, and refuse/or are unable to pay their share of utility bills. The grounds are poorly kept, and garbage is left out in the corridors. The administration's answer to allowing a drug dealer in his room and all the other complaints is proposing a room change. Judging by my son's interactions with his succession of degenerate room mates, I don't think that will change much. As a parent I would counsel you to think long and hard about letting your child stay in an establishment like University Village at Sweethome. more

Bro, i've been living at sweethome this whole year and i can't tell u how much money they give away. It's crazy. they have programs like once a month or every other month where they just give away money. I went to like all of em!! Me and two buddies were in the bball tournament (didn't win tho.. 1st prize 600 bux) and they had a wing eating contest too. They have a lot of cool programs like poker night, bbqs, pool parties.. its cool i always have a lot of fun more

Working with the Spectrum is a fantastic experience. The staff is very accommodating, patient, and reliable. Helene has been wonderful to work with over this past year and I look forward to working with the Spectrum this coming year! more

I've lived at Sweet Home for the past 2 years now and I have to say things are not perfect here but they are getting a lot better than they used to be. I dont know if it's the new managers (even though they are 25 just like all the previous ones) or if they're just finally starting to listen to the residents complaints. Definitely have noticed an improvement in the cleanliness of the hallways and stairs. Hopefully now that more is being done to keep them clean people will respect them more and not trash them every weekend. If you take advantage of the ammenities this place is definitely worth it. I use the gym every day and the pool deck all the time in the summer. I've thought about looking for a cheaper place for next year but I honestly can't find a place with the same value because of the private bedroom and bathroom and gym. Oh and you cant beat having a washer/dryer in your apt. more
