Review content:
My son has been a resident of University Village at Sweethome for about eight months. Last weekend the police came into my son's residence because a candle was left burning in his room mate's room, and they found a large quantity of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The other parade of ""roomies"" has been no less stellar. They take my son's food and supplies without permission, blast music when he is trying to sleep, and refuse/or are unable to pay their share of utility bills. The grounds are poorly kept, and garbage is left out in the corridors.
The administration's answer to allowing a drug dealer in his room and all the other complaints is proposing a room change. Judging by my son's interactions with his succession of degenerate room mates, I don't think that will change much.
As a parent I would counsel you to think long and hard about letting your child stay in an establishment like University Village at Sweethome.
