Unique Window Treatments

I had a very good experience with Unique Window Treatments. I have used them in the past before and they have always done great work with me. Most recently, they came to the home to install some blinds. I thought that the pricing was a little bit high, but it was definitely worth it for the quality that I got. I would say that the staff that I worked with was very friendly and professional, so I didn't have any problems there. Overall, I am happy that I used them, so I would recommend them. more

I had a great experience working with Unique Window Treatments - the company is great! They recently came to my home and did all of the windows for my house. The job itself was done in two phases - they came out both times, they were on-time, and they did the work perfectly. The staff was very professional and respectful of the home they did the work in. The pricing was definitely great for the work that they did - it was worth it! I appreciate them taking the time out to do the work. Unique Window Treatments was very good and efficient. They repaired a blind that had broken--the string that pulls the blind up and down but had broken inside the blind. The turnaround time for service was fine--I think it was good and worked with my schedule. more

I bought window treatments from Unique Window Treatments seven years ago for my first apartment. Everything was flawless; the treatments were installed properly and there were no issues at all. A month ago I needed three window treatments. I visited their showroom and placed an order, but I didn't hear back from them afterwards. So I followed up with them. They said, yeah, my order existed and then, again, nothing from them. I called again, and then I got the credit card confirmation. Then, again, no follow up from them. I called again. They told me that my order had reached and we set a delivery date. The day before the delivery, they tell me one of the treatments I had ordered was not available. So I said, fine, deliver everything else. They come to make the delivery, but they don't deliver everything else. Apparently this treatment is no longer in stock. It's odd that they wouldn't know this when I placed the original order--which was like two months before this. I just think they now have with less customer service orientation; the current staff don't follow up and they don't advocate for the customer. I reached out to the owner, and he was gracious about it. But he also seemed to be defensive of his team. In the end I went with another company. I wouldn't go back to them unless I heard there was a major overhauling of how they operate now. more

We have been using Unique Window Treatments at our place of business for about a couple of years. They do excellent work. We have never had any issues with them and they are very responsive whenever we have reached out to them. They are prompt, professional and courteous. more

I had a great experience with Unique Window Treatments. I had a blackout shade installed in my apartment and the result turned out great. The shade fit perfectly and there were no gaps. The installation was done very professionally and with great care. There was a problem with the raising mechanism for the shade and Unique Window took care of it quickly. They figured out what the missing piece was and retrieved it in no time like it was no big deal. Their pricing is very reasonable for the quality of service and the product that they provide. I have already referred them to a few people. This was my first time using them and I would definitely use them again in the future. more

I recently used Unique Window Treatments for the first time and they did a great job! They did lighting and window treatments for me. Alon does an excellent job. He is really knowledgeable about what he does. I liked how big their selection was. I didn't feel like I had to compromise on what I wanted at all. The price was really cheap as well. I like my window treatments a lot! They are great quality. There were some delays in terms of the installation, but it was not due to any actions of theirs. Overall, great work! more

I am very happy with Unique Window Treatments. I purchased some blinds from them. The sales person showed me a lot of different types, explaining the differences. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. Everything went well with the installation. They put shades up in my apartment in 3 different locations. Felix was great, he was very friendly and polite. The blinds were kind of expensive, but, for the industry, pretty fair. I am very happy with how everything turned out. The only thing is that because there are 3 different shades, sometimes they seem unbalanced. Felix showed me how to adjust them so they all would open or close the same, but, I haven't been able to adjust them the same way he did. I'm sure I just need to get a little more familiar with them. Aside from that, everything went fine. I would recommend them to others. more

We used Unique Window Treatments a few years ago to do four windows in the apartment we had just moved into. They have been back a few times since then to do some repairs on them. Their prices were moderate. not cheap but not overly expensive either. They did a great job and we are very happy with the work they did. They sent someone out to come take a look and did everything to my satisfaction. I'd absolutely give them a call again! more

Unique Window Treatments knew the building they were installing my shades in so they were exact in their measurements and prompt about the installation. They were expensive but the products I got were very high quality. You get what you pay for so I was willing to close my eyes and do it. They ended up coming out two times because the first time they put up a set of shades that weren't room darkening, which was my fault, not theirs. I decided to have them replaced with shades that were room darkening, so they came again for that. It was a very straightforward process, which was a pleasure. more

The product I got from Unique Window Treatments was fine. I got some blackout shades for my apartment. The people were great to deal with when I purchased them. After they installed them, I had an issue with a bar that fell out and needed to be repaired. I called them and they came out and said they needed a part and they would be back with it. Of course, they haven't been back and I have not heard from them since. Everything else was fine except their lack of customer service when their product failed. RESPONSE FROM Unique Window Treatments: We apologize for the bad follow up in this case. Once this came to our attention, we instructed our office stuff to schedule a service call for this client. more
