I love the fact that the store is in my neighborhood. I've had all of my Christmas packages packed and shipped by Linda and her staff for the last 10 years or so. They're always friendly and courteous, even during some crazy holiday rush times. My packages have always made the destinations on time and in perfect condition. They even have a candy jar on the counter, just one more neighborly touch! I'd never think of going anywhere else, especially USPS!!! Pros: I've always been treated well, even before UPS days more

One Of The Most Horrible Customer Experiences In My Life 3/20/2009

I entered the store carrying one of my packages and there were a couple of ladies behind the counter. One of them smiled at me and said to put my package on the counter. I handed her my shipment receipt that required a signature to acknowledge the shipment with a declared value. She hesitated and then told the other lady how to process the shipment. I told her I had to go get the other boxes out of my vehicle. As I brought the last package into the store, a male employee handed me my receipt saying that he could not sign it and I would have to take it to the local main UPS hub for this service. I asked why and stated, you are a UPS store and you have the UPS logo. He said that The UPS Stores are franchised owned and they don?t sign receipts for declared values. So I was very puzzled and disappointed with his response. I told him that the UPS website instructed me to bring it to an authorized UPS center to get the receipt signed. I asked if I could at least get a receipt that acknowledged that I dropped off the packages and he Cons: Anything you can think of more

Opposite of customer service 2/9/2008

I needed a package delivered within 3 days. I took this pakage to this store paid for next day air was guaranteed next day service. When the package did not arrive 3 days later I called to inquire as to its whereabouts the owner operator first said we gave him the wrong adress, when I pointed out that the reciept I was given has a print out of the correct adress he said ""so everyone makes mistakes what do you want me to do?"" I said I needed that package that he should figure out something he then let loose an expletive and hung up on me. I will never and suggest no one else should ever do business with this store or its owner again. Thisis what brown did for me it cost me $$$$'s, hours of time and unmeasurable aggrevation. Cons: everthing form customer service to explanation of mistakes and accepting responsibility more
