Very Very unhappy. Staff was friendly before the lease was singed after the deal was closed they became rude and very unhelpful. Moved into the apartment the garage was broken, the apartment and patio was full of spiders and eggs, No washer and dryer and we are on a ""list"" , when we were told we would have one, now currently paying to use their laundry room which is DISGUSTING. When we found out we did not have a washer and dryer in the apartment I went to the office to find out how to get one of these laundry cards we needed. The girls response was it goes through corporate they have none in the office and we had to wait a entire week to receive one. My boyfriend went to the office the very next day to make all these complaints and he was handed a laundry card from her desk!!! Blinds were put on backwards missing pieces that were sitting on the floor when moved in, Screen door was leaning against the building not on the track, shelves broken in closets. Spider and Earwigs all over, we have easily killed over 50 bugs since we moved in (no exaggeration). Found out today when the cable guy came that all the cable outlets except for two were ""dead"" and unusable , when we were told apartment was ""Cable Ready"". We have called numerous times and were told we would receive a call back from the ""Property Manager"" Robin and have yet to receive a phone call. Its now the 19th and none of our problems have been addressed and we have been complaining since the 3rd of the month at least twice a week. This is absurd and ridiculous, we are paying WAY MORE rent then most people that live here and these problems should not be occurring. When rent is over 1500 a month, service should be up to par and issues should be minimal. more

very bad place to live 3/24/2009

I had a new neighbor move in on forest grv. He is very rude. He works for park 200 which is part of twin lakes. He swears all the time and peals in and out with his truck. He has no respect for anyone around him. I live next to him and all you smell is cigarettes. When you complain nothing is done. I feel that because he works for the company they allow him to do whatever. He has parties and the people get so drunk they fall down the steps. If you like no piece and quiet then this is the place for you. Pros: looks nice from outside Cons: employees are rude more

Looks beautiful on the outside, Slums on the inside!! 2/10/2009

This place is the pits. We lived there for a year and a half and I would never recommend it to anyone. My husband and I would get woken up several times a night due to the drunk neighbors going in and out of their apartment. The parking is terrible, the office staff is nice when you first move in, but then you get an attitude if you complain about anything after you've moved in. The neighbor below us smoked, and my son wound up getting asthma from it. When I complained about the smell coming through our vents I was told that there was nothing they could do about it. We had to keep the air running all summer long because we couldn't open the windows due to the smoke. Our electric bill was over $300.00 every month. We also had rodents in our apartment which the office wouldn't do anything about. When we moved out our stove there were about 10 holes in the wall that were stuffed with steel wool, so obviously this has been a repeated problem with previous tenants. Several cars on our street had gotten keyed and broken into, again the office wouldn't get involved. For the rent we paid ($1035.00) I expected a lot better than this. Its like living in the slums. I wouldn't even let my kids play outside because the cars don't abide by the speed limit. When we moved out they kept our entire deposit because they said we had left ""spots"" on our carpet. We paid $100.00 when we moved in for this cleaning fee, and they still kept our $1000.00 deposit. If you try to call up to speak to someone about it the office manager refuses to speak to you. All I can say is avoid this place!! You will totally regret it within a month of moving in. more

Not thrilled 2/7/2008

Lived in Twin Lakes for 3 years. When I first moved in, it was a good community, probably the best deal in the area. After new ownership took over, prices skyrocketed, with no new service and nothing improved. They did rebuild the main office building to impress new tenants, but nothing was improved with the apartments. It took facilities 2 months to fix my broken air conditioner unit last summer because they were waiting for parts......perfect example of the lack of service you recieve here. The people that work in the office cop an attitude when you have an issue and don't seem to want to accomodate. Also upon leaving, I was charged $50 for a dirty refrigerator (that I wiped down and cleaned myself), and for a dirty bathtub (which I washed out myself). This was after I paid a $100 fee when I moved in that was to be applied for cleaning after I left. They were unwilling to resolve this for me and unwilling to accomodate, and honestly I feel pretty ripped off about it. more
